We booked this through air bnb and was extremely happy with it. Good size rooms, which are very clean and comfortable. Read the local information book left in the room, its very detailed and helpful. The location is perfect and even better if you have a cable car pass as it drops off outside the front door.
This resort on Nob Hill is right on the cable car route providing easy access to transportation. Several restaurants within walking distance downhill, but a challenging climb back if you're out of shape. The historic architecture in the lobby, staircase and our room was beautiful. Our room was nicely appointed with everything one needs and an abundance of storage space. The live rose in a bud vase, along with 2 yummy chocolates was a nice touch.
Adequate without being luxurious, Powell Place is perfectly placed to stay and explore San Francisco. Accommodation had bathroom, bedroom living room and dining/kitchen area. Plenty of room and all necessary amenities. You will not be spending much time in your room with all there is to do and see in San Francisco. Powell Place offers the ideal location to do so.
