Good quiet room with beautiful views. Good food in the restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved our stay.

My wife came down with Covid like symptoms and we cancelled 48 hours in advance and we did not get a refund or an offer for a credit. Very disappointed in their policy.

Not a safe place to stay. *** multiple managers were fired after finding they made friends with manipulative psychopath violent criminal and chose to put hotel guests' safety at risk and violence acts which were preventable were enabled by said former kimpton managers. Multiple managers fired for making friends with violating civil rights and refusing to honor a restraining order that prevented access to a VIOLENT criminal. KNOWINGLY allowing access to exact same violent criminal, even with their staff, managers, and security on consented recorded audio agreeing to refuse any information if contacted by said person and to ENFORCE RESTRAINING ORDER AND REMOVE THEN FROM THE PROPERTY. Even after staff member APOLOGIZING for allowing access to EXACT SAME VIOLENT CRIMINAL, and even after KIMPTON FIRED MULTIPLE MANAGERS over their participation in VIOLENCE by REFUSING to honor instructions for restraining order. multiple managers were fired after finding they made friends with manipulative psychopath violent criminal and chose to put hotel guests' safety at risk and violence acts which were preventable were enabled by said former kimpton managers. ***not a safe place to stay.

Best tub I've ever seen in a hotel!

This hotel is magnificent! Out room is a Skyline View Spa Suite and it is beautiful and spacious. The jetted oaking tub is huge and there is a separate spacious glassed in shower. The location on Wilshire Boulevard is close to UCLA and centrally located between the coast in Santa Monica and the sites in Hollywood, not to mention shopping in Beverly Hills.

So far The Palomar does not disappoint! Our suite is amazing love the Jacuzzi tub! The food at Double Take is amazing! Staff is very friendly!

This is my favorite hotel in Beverly Hills. The rooms are really nicely designed. The beds are really comfortable and most perfect for anyone visiting from the east coast dealing with jet lag. The menu at the hotel is small, but the meals are thoughtfully curated. The restaurant staff are really personable.

The Palomar is like a second home to me. No matter if it’s many month’s between stays it never disappoints. L. A. Is my birth city. I moved to Lake Tahoe 10 years ago and it’s where I stay when I come back to visit family & friends, which is often. So much more than just a hotel. It served my husband and me in 2015 when he was going through rigorous treatment and surgeries at UCLA, with a personal staff that kept our spirits up. It’s dog friendly, which to us, really matters. Having just stayed for 4 days while my daughter had some surgery, my Grand-dog (Karma, the Magic Golden Doodle) was welcomed and she thought she was in doggie heaven as every morning the lobby had (almost) more dogs hanging out than people (LOL). My step-daughter is a health administrator at UCLA and I tell her to refer patients to The Palomar all the time, which she does with great response, and gratitude. Basically, they pride themselves on being present for their guests. No request is too big or too small. If that isn’t what home is supposed to feel like, I don’t know what is. The entire Kimpton chain of hotels are (to me) the standard for boutique accommodations. Don’t look anywhere else. Just follow your compass to Palomar.

The stay here was amazing! When we first showed up our vehicle was too large to fit into the parking garage when using the valet, instead of having us park ourselves off site they went out of their way to accommodate us. The staff was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and were able to help is find a restaurant that was close by, kid friendly, and food allergy compliant. I highly recommend staying here to anyone!

Great place to stay close to everything and great facilities for either business or pleasure. Beautiful rooms with great sound proofing didn't hear anything or anyone else the entire stay. Double Take restaurant next to the lobby is the perfect spot for an amazing meal or to relax and unwind with a few drinks. But what really makes this property is the staff. They are kind caring attentive and professional. They know how to take care of their guests and really exceed expectations, especially Cameron and Natasha. These two are some of the best desk agents I've met I can not say enough about them and the value they add to the hotel. Overall a beautiful experience and I can't wait to return.

Upon arriving at Kimpton Hotel Palomar Los Angeles Beverly Hills, after camping for a few days in Kings Canyon. We were welcomed, bags were unloaded, we were helped to check in, then bags brought to the room. We had mentioned this was our first visit to California, while talking with Natasha at the front desk. My sons and I return later, and in our room was a special surprise. A sign welcoming us to Cali and a handwritten note. We also got some snacks and drinks. Thank you for making us feel special. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. Super friendly staff, amazing food, games for everyone, bikes, and the room felt very homey to us. Again thank you for the hospitality shown to us.

Hotel is in a great location, facilities and room were in immaculate condition. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is eclectic — just what one expects of southern California. Naturally, parking in this part of L. A. Is at a premium. The valet parking (only parking option on property) is $44 per night. We tend to be mid-priced travellers so the cost was more than typical for us, but in the end it was all worth it.

Fantastic people and a great venue. I had a couple morning meetings there for business and the staff were very helpful. The conference rooms were spacious and the interior design was phenomenal. Would recommend.

Great hotel! The experience was exceptional from the start. From the Valet attendants to the front desk. Everyone was helpful and kind. And the hotel’s cafe was great! I loved their Banana nut muffin. Seriously the best I have ever had! The Executive Chef, Octavio knows what he is doing! Beautifully decorated, fun complimentary happy hour wine tasting between 5-6 and cute pool to lounge by. Not overpriced and not pretentious.

This hotel was amazing. They had really nice rooms and especially nice bathrooms. The service was extremely accommodating and it was easy for us to stow our luggage when we got there. Overall, this is a top-notch establishment. Highly recommend.

Love the Hotel, The Location and the Staff — Valets are also so kind and helpful. However, several times I've had issues with my room not being the same one I reserved and although the front desk tries to rectify the situation the last time it was not ideal. Aside from a few back end issues here and there, this is my go to hotel in LA.

The location is convenient (right on Wilshire Blvd. Which is close to both UCLA and Beverly Hills). The lobby is a hip area with a nice restaurant and lounge. The restaurant had sub-par service, but as it was more of a hangout spot rather than a real restaurant, I gave it a break. The hotel, it should be noted, is obviously old, but touched up to look newer. I stayed on a higher floor that was perhaps too dark (even with all of the lights on). The showers were nice and had hot water, but again, the rest of the room felt old with a new touch-up. This was particularly obvious in the lack of outlets in the room. The hotel had great amenities, free coffee and cold infused water in the lobby, and was overall a nice stay.

I travel a lot. Stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels. This place has been one of the nicest to date. I just liked everything. Really upscale look and feel.

Not the best Kimpton has to offer (their Denver hotel is the absolute best) but it was decent overall. Staff is awesome; both at the front desk and the bar. As always, the Kimpton "magic hour" from 5pm — 6pm where complimentary, decent wine is served was nice. Would stay here again, the rate is decent for what you get and options in the area. As always the CA taxes suck and tag on almost another $50 a night so know that going in.

Great Staff. Super helpful. Good coffee served every morning. The Valets we're especially kind and polite. I walk with a cane and they would escort me back to my room to carry my morning coffee.

We were there to live stream the cast of a hit show on NBC. Every time we visit an event space to stream, our success is a direct result of the interaction with the area and hotel personnel. The Palomar went above and beyond to assist our team with every need. From the moment we arrived at the load-in to taillights, this place was fantastic. The internet was flawless, which is critical in our business. The was food exceptional as well. They were more than helpful in assisting to rearrange the back bar area so we could create a perfect live stream set. So it goes without saying, if the Hotel Palomar is as accommodating to a vendor, I can only imagine how awesome they must be to their guests. "Great Job! "

Came for anniversary. The front desk and everyone else was very nice and thoughtful. They gave us free champagne and chocolates and were very attentive to our needs. The room was really nice and the bathroom was extremely nice. The bathtub was deep and they provided lots of soap for bubbles.

This is as honest and as polite as I can make it… The room was small, but clean. The bed was big, but uncomfortable as you could feel the pattern of the mattress everytime you moved… and the bathroom was large, but without a fan was inadequate. However… The worst part had to be the PARKING and lack of options, other than paying the $44 parking fee which I was told the first night… was the only parking option. I understand parking isn't cheap in LA, But include it in the price of the room to avoid "sticker shock" when arriving. Finding parking was a Stressful experience and the main reason I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THE KIMPTON HOTEL.

Kimpton Palomar is a stylish boutique hotel that offers astonishing views of the city, a game room, and a decent size pool where you can hang out by the fire after. Shuki, Cameron and Natalia are the friendliest front office team to welcome you and take care of any needs you have. They rock and made my stay amazing.

Good hotel close to UCLA and 20 min away from Sunset Strip. Not a big room but a great furniture and lobby. Really expensive parcking, though.

Pretty nice spot. Location could be better… unless you like the west side of l. A. Though it's not that far west I guess. Nice rooms, service seemed slow but no big deal.

The hotel had a nice modern look to it. Very well maintained. The rooms had a nice feel and they had hot chocolate and coffee in the lobby in the morning. No complaints!

The hotel is a little rough around the edges but overall an excellent experience. Good price for the area, and nice, not too contemporary atmosphere. And best of all, dogs are allowed!

The Palomar is a pet-friendly hotel in Westwood that feels very LA chic. The hotel is easily accessible of Wilshire, the staff is incredibly accommodating, the room in which we stayed was a good size (big enough for our family of four). Their restaurant was closed for a special event the night we arrived, but room service was surprisingly good. We only stayed one night, but experience was a good one, and I would stay again the next time I'm in West LA.

Hands down the best hotel in LA! The service, cleanliness and quality of rooms and the added bonus of being pet friendly is simply amazing. It can be hard to get a booking sometimes but if you do — book without a second thought.

Always love this hotel. Lots of little fun extras… like they will print and frame a picture for your room before you arrive, free wine happy hour, and a great restaurant with free coffee every morning.

The room was small but nice and clean, same as the bathroom. Larger than average television though the cable service was very slow. Wine hour from 5-6pm everyday is a very nice touch. Staff members were all very friendly and professional.

We had an issue with parking due to that we have disabled handicap decal. The rooms were clean. Housekeeping aides were helpful and friendly. One of the front desk persons rectified the parking issue upon checking out.

Kimpton have the best loyalty program I have ever seen. These guys really know how to make guest feel welcome. Every Kimpton stay is outstanding.

Hotel is just OK. Mold around the bathroom doors in several rooms including mine. Beds and pillows are much more comfortable at less expensive hotels. Restaurant again is ok. Better food choices down the street.

I went for my birthday. The hotel treated me so special. They brought me wine dog treats for my dogs bottle water ad strawberry chocolates. They also let me watch a free movie for one of the nights. Justine front desk was super nice and I liked the other girl at the front desk she was always smiling but I didn't catch her name. I loved the modern hotel look and how clean everything was. There's complimentary wine hour every evening which was enjoyable at the lobby. Overall great experience. I also appreciated the full size shampoo conditioner and body wash bottles you can use instead of the mini sample toiletries that are usually offered in hotels. They always greet you everytime you come back to the hotel. You really feel special to stay with them. And I love how I was able to bring my 3 dogs who also enjoyed there stay so much. I was impressed and thankful And would come back again for sure. One negative thing I have to say is the parking was way too overpriced I think prices need to be lowered. It was a big turn off and glad to see others agreed about that.

Upon our arrive the staff was so kind! They all greeted us with courtesy and kindness. As a family who's son was chosen for @dreamscometrue and had traveled from FL and had delays and canceled flights, our room was full of balloons, candies, snacks, toy cars for our son and fluffy robes for the kids! The hand written notes gave that added touch to our delight! Friendly to the kids, yet modern and chic for the adults. So overwhelmed and impress!

Rooms are okay. Not as nice as some of the other Kimptons I've stayed at. Amazing lobby and lobby bar with lots of different games to play in a chic environment. But they close the game/bar area at 11pm, even on Saturday. Pool area is cozy, but small. It's private but doesn't get a lot of direct sunlight. I'd stay there again, so much better than the cookie cutter hotels.

Hotel is good (nothing too great), my 2 stars are mainly for their Payment services/department. I have been charged 2 times for a room which was already paid for by my company. When I checked out, they confirmed that the room was paid for (by my company) and then went ahead and charged 509$ on my card 2 days later. When I called for a refund, they said it should be refunded within 24 hours. Guess what, I had been charged another 509$, in addition to the wrongly charged amount before. I called them to fix this, and was kept on hold for long durations, only to come back and say that they need my company to authorize the pre-paid payment! While they have verbally committed to resolve the issue, they cannot give me a refund for another week! Never imagined a 4-star hotel to have such sloppy operations.

Conveniently located to UCLA, this hotel is very nice and comfortable. The rooms were large and had a septation between the bed and living room. Very thick walls and quiet surroundings.

Sheets, towels, and pillows were FANTASTIC. The hotel is clean and the staff is very ready and willing to help. The location is young, and hip. A great jump off to everything fantastic in Los Angel.

Ugh, not my favorite of the Kimpton hotels. Although they do a great job of the rooms and the lobby, the rest of the venue lacks any real amenities. Its in the middle of Westwood and really not walking distance within anything. I absolutely recommend staying at any Kimpton. We have stayed in the Seattle ones multiple times and cannot say enough about what they have done.

I attended a private event here and staff was friendly and courteous. Valet parking is required! I would consider speeding a night here if I ever needed to be in the area.

Bar and restaurant closes at 11:30, which is much too early IMO. The cocktails are good though. When I came down to lobby at 10:30am, the complementary coffee service was being packed up, and even though I could see the coffee cups he had, he wouldn't give me one! Bathroom had several problems, including a bathtub that wouldn't drain and a broken faucet. Decor and location was okay. Street parking was easy. Would not stay here again or recommend it, especially given the price. I expected better.

Nickel and dime you at every point of purchase. 8 dollar bottle of water, 15 dollar Wi-Fi, 5.50 dollar bag of chips. Oh and did I mention that they increased our nightly rate midstay due to "increased booking". Bad business.

Not just a curmudgeon; my keys did not work, the guy up front said it was weird, gave me new keys and said nothing about the increase of 100 dollars a night do to "increased booking. " Good business? UPDATE: No remediation. Answer at front desk: "sorry"… with a smile. That's LA.

Gorgeous hotel, inside and out. Kudos to Studio Gang for their design work, really well done. I went to a fantastic Vivian Maier event, and even the event rooms — which can be boring — were nice and designed well. Lobby bar and lounge — so beautiful!
