Found Bed bugs 11/24/21 and manager never responded.

Paid in advance for a king size bed and got two full size. When I spoke to the front desk, they informed me that they were out of king size beds. I believe I should have been given the choice if I wanted to stay or not. Staff was not helpful at all.

Front desk clerk Irene is super friendly and very helpful. Dinner upstairs was delicious. Good drinks and great views.

Paid for a room that did not have what we asked for. Ruined our wedding Anniversary due to arrogant staff and we left and got a refund due to the room advertised with view was a brick wall on 8th floor for 250 bucks.

This hotel is dope. It's in the perfect location to shoot to anywhere you're going (beach/city/hills/airport). The staff are super nice. The suites are awesome and big. The balconies have awesome views. Also… cool as hell automatic window coverings.

The bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the design and setup of the bathroom in my room. Only downside, the shower water never got hot, not even warm. However, the bathroom sink did. Cafe was great for a morning latte in the morning before getting ready for your day. Loved the pool and patio setup.

Horrible customer service. Trying to order simple room service seems like an imposition to the people answering the phone. Even asking when they stop taking orders, met with rudeness and hostility.

Good all round service and courteous.

STAFF AWESOME day or night, easy charge my room, many perks, especially free wine tasting (lol) … got this room on a special, way out of my reg price range, but they made me feel like everyone else…

Fantastic hotel roof bar is amazing as well as the staff.

Worse service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. We had to ask them twice just to bring the menu. Before that, they ignored us for 15 minutes. The staff could care less that customers were even there. Then I found out they call themselves a “gratuity free” restaurant. Um, that might be why your staff doesn’t care…

All I have to say — What an AMAZING hotel. We were staying in L. A. For a week due to my husband's surgery, so we chose this location since its within 2 miles of UCLA. The whole staff was so sincere, asked about my husband's progress each morning, and were so professional and classy. Thomas, Edith, and Lindsey were all top notch and helpful with anything we needed. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. The personal drivers were so sweet and having that complimentary service was the cherry on top! Plus the rates were VERY affordable for being in L. A! 5 stars!

For it to be my first time it was a beautiful experience. Would definitely recommend it.

We switched hotels and came here. The difference is night and day. Valet parking, amazing staff, fantastic atmosphere. 100% would recommend.

That crew! From the FD, to shuttle driver, to servers at West, to housekeeping — they have an amazing group to help their guests. Yes, the rooms are a lil noisy but it is LA, by the 405, all the insulation in the world will not help. Fitness center and pool are very relaxing, complimentary wine hour is excellent, and take the shuttle to Westwood Village.

Cool place. Rooms are very nice, small and simple. Outside the rooms is a little rough around the edges, shows wear. You can hear the freeway. Couldn't stay a second night because the rate doubled. But staff great.

Charge you for water that they put in your rooms for you and don’t tell you this at $3 a bottle and there are 8 of you for 5 days

We stayed here only a few hours because one of my family members was having a procedure done at Cedar Sanai hospital. The hotel has a unique look, a classy retro feel but modern at the same time. Staff was extremely professional and welcoming. Room was clean and I think all have a good view since the building is round. Beds were extremely comfortable! Would stay here again to check out the bar/restaurant and pool.

Hotel Angeleno is one of the coolest places I've been to. Their giant chart depicting ALL of the San Diego breweries was a refreshing sight, for a beer connoisseur like me. Very extensive beer list, as well as fun little deals they have going throughout the week. Their food was amazing. I got the Diablo, which was a grilled cheese with spicy relish and bacon with the tomato bisque. Awesome combo, would definitely recommend!

Nice room. No self parking and it's $35 but you can avoid it by joining their hotel club. No free water in the room at all which is strange for this price level. Didn't try the breakfast or the bar. Perfect location for visiting UCLA.

What’s up with their pool schedule? I’m staying here now and I tried to go to the pool only to find out it’s not open until 3 pm? Why? Rooms next to the freeway are not that great. If you are looking for a relaxing room situation like I am then I would definitely not stay here. And they treat those who use a third party to book a hotel inferior to others who book straight through. I was told I couldn’t have a king bed because those who book straight through the hotel have… seniority. Ever heard of repeat customers? I’m definitely not one of them. This place is nothing special… it’s just a basic hotel with pretty views. So much for my 1 relaxing weekend for the year.

I chicked in for 5 night and I only got house keeping cleaning the room once, the room kept dirty most of the time and the only date that they came because I called to many times and the manager stepped in! Do I need the manager word to clean my room in a hotel! Even in the first day before the check-in, after coming from 18 flighit hours, we asked the front desk for anyone to help us with our luggages and he said get the trolly feom tge back and help yourself!
So after all of that, when I checked out in the last day I asked for the manager to give him my feedback and unfortunately I kept waiting for him and he didnt show up.
Im so disappointed this is my first time in LA and I never thaught I would stay in a hotel like that.

I'm am extremely disappointed in this hotel. The room was okay. However I cannot believe how terrible the service was. The hotel has posted many signs that say "we pay our employees the appropriate amount there is no need to tip /skip the tip"; I feel like this has lead the employees to be very rude because they know they are not working for tips. Specifically the bar tender/server Lana. I believed there to be a mistake in my order, when I discussed this with her she rolled her eyes at me multiple times. After some confusion she snapped at me and stated "Well I'm not the one who took your order so I can't help you. " The service had already been bad, after this I couldn't believe it. I would recommend another hotel, if anything do NOT eat in their restaurant. Overpriced and experience ruined due to extremely rude waitstaff.

Nice, clean rooms with a comfortable bed. Rooms are a touch small but not uncomfortable. Showers are odd (no door) and water pressure in sink is low but adequate. Views from higher floors are nice. Only issue (and thus the dropping of the five to four) is that rooms are not quiet. On the freeway side, you can hear cars all night. You can also hear your neighbors if they play the TV too loud or when they flush the (surprisingly loud) toilet.

Excited to spend my birthday here, friends have told me what a great place this is. Hello complementary wine hour, hard to find that in LA! THE RESTAURANT IS JUST BREATHTAKING, go check out for yourself. Don’t listen to bad reviews. The front desk is really nice if you are nice. Don’t be rude they are helping you remember that. Excited to have a balcony, also hard to find in La with ya spending an arm and a leg for!

Very modern a little out of the way.

The good first: the room is really great and the staff very friendly. Everything is clean and well maintained and the pool offers hours of relaxation. But, if you are a sensitive person to noise, this definitely is not your hotel. A hotel being next to a freeway obviously has a noise issue of not proper insulated and that is here the case. Furthermore, parking is an additional cost plus everything in the hotel is super expensive to get on top. The restaurant in the 17th floor is also not worth it, as the view is not that great — again mainly freeway, the same you see from the room too, just tainted — and extremely expensive.

From the moment we pulled up to the hotel the hotel service was amazing. Michael at the front desk is the face of the hotel and began the amazing experience for us! He’s quick, friendly and knowledgeable, definitely refer to him if any questions. Looks like he was on the overnight shift! Thank you Michael! The hotel itself is clean cut and simple. Room was not small, it had a modern look to it and was very clean. Loved the bathroom and most importantly loved the view. I had the killer view room and it is totally worth the money. I’m not sure why people say they can hear the highway they must have been on a lower floor so that’s just common sense. But the windows are thick enough to not be able to hear the highway from a high floor. Apply within to their inner circle to obtain free parking otherwise its $34 a night. Only free parking if room is directly booked through their website. Hotel is right near many major locations and easy to find! Restaurant upstairs had the best filet I’ve ever had! ENJOY YOUR STAY.

Quaint and comfortable place to stay. We even had a celebrity at the front desk check us in who was extremely nice! Def need to check out their bar up on the top floor. Amazing floor to ceiling windows with amazing views!

Very clean room with nice modern furnishings. Super duper comfy beds. Restaurant/bar had good food and cocktails, but pretty pricey. They don't do tips so prices reflect a markup to compensate. Front desk called an Uber for us to the airport and was able to charge it to the room.

This is a beautiful hotel which unfortunately. Is right next to the 405 highway. I did not sleep all night. It was so loud, that it felt like the highway was going right through the room. When I asked for ear plugs at night, they told me that they unfortunately ran out of them. They have to install noiseproof windows and have ear plugs as standard in all rooms. Also, overnight parking is 35$ which is outrageously expensive.

If you go with car this hotel is ideal. The staff is very nice.
Our travel agency gave us the reservation and in the parking section we put 24 dollars per night. On arrival we were told 36 dollars but we told them that in the reserve went out that price and without hesitation we left the price that appeared in the reservation.
My summary is that the hotel Angeleno is very highly recommended.

A nice stay with clean lines and soft, comfy beds. The makeover covers the old Holiday Inn that it once was. If you look closely enough, you might see bits of it. Overall, a satisfactory stay and nothing over the top. And the views are great… check out the upstairs bar.

Great location. Easy to Uber. Also there are a couple stores in walking distance. We found a Starbuck's, Italian restaurant, bakery and more within a few blocks on sunset. Our room view from 1503 was amazing and quiet. The room was spotless and the staff, very helpful and nice! West restaurant was expensive but the food and service is great with spectacular views. If I do ever visit LA again this will be my first choice.

Try to be polite, and see what you can get. The answer is a bunch of fake promises. I booked for one night — before the new year's eve. When I arrived I had to drive my luggage-cart all the way to my room, while the workers stood there chatting! Moreover, I was told that I should be to one to bring the cart down to the lobby. But I explained to an attendant that it should not be my job and that I will leave it outside the room, but he refused with a big smile! When I told this story to the front desk, there was a shock on their faces, but they explained, that it was a third-party company, and they had no hand in that! Another issue was when I was promised to receive an extra blanket (I was told, this is against the hotel's policy, but they would make an exception for us). The result, was nothing. I talked to them a couple of times to remind them, but there was no answer, just more promises. The hotel is nice looking, but the servers were lazy and helpless.

Good rooms but so so big. Good breakfast but not include. Good valet service but not included (there is a night free parking in the closest street to the hotel), clean but too noise from the motorway. Heated outdoor pool. Good restaurant but expensive. Very Good bar. Very kind staff.

I stayed here back in the Spring for week. I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It has a nice restaurant at the top with a terrific view. The structure of the building is really cool and unique. I plan on staying here again when I visit Los Angeles.

This hotel makes a statement, standing right on the 405. If possible, ask for the rooms facing east. And carry packaged food. Everything is a minimum of 4 miles away. Pricey restaurant and they don't accept tips. Super supportive and cheerful staff. A short term solution is to walk towards Supelveda avenue at BelAir and try the fuel stations… for temporary sandwiches.

We stayed here with a reservation my company made and when we arrive there was an issue with paperwork and the gentleman at check in was very rude towards me. He tried to charge my card for the stay when the company had already paid for it, but only old me he was charging for incidentals. However a lady walked up and corrected the issue and was very kind. This hotel is very noisy and it is very difficult to get in and out of the hotel parking lot, as it is located right next to the 405. Also parking is $34 per night, which isn't an issue, we just were not informed. It is a relatively nice hotel but you can tell the updates/remodel was not done with high standards. You can also hear the people in the rooms next to you fairly easily. Other than the one rude gentleman, everyone else was very friendly.

The hotel is very beautiful. The workers are very kind and understood. The room was very nice and had a great view of the city. The hotel is in a location where you can get out and enter the freeway very fast and also have "valet parking. " When I travel back to Los Angeles It is my hotel preference.

Great hotel. If you want a good view, youll need to stay from floor 8 and up. FYI, (valet parking is NOT free, to whoever wrote that on here. It is $37/night) Beautifully renovated hotel, very nice rooms, only thing is the walls are so thin, you can hear conversations from neighbors room! Balcony doors are great, keep all 405 freeway noise out, but the walls are very thin. Still a beautiful place, would stay again.

The hotel in general is fine in terms of cleanliness and attention. I do not give the 5 stars by location theme, it is quite far from locals for dinner, drinks etc, and considering that they usually offer you only accommodation, it is a point to keep in mind.
That if, you have a "snack bar" inside the same hotel where 1 water and 2 croissants cost you 16 dollars or a restaurant on the top floor of the hotel where the average price of the dish is 40 dollars. A nonsense.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… I really love this place it's one of my favorite go to 's especially when friends are in town. The atmosphere is beautiful the drinks are well mastered and the view is unparalleled.

I love the restaurant at the toplevel of the hotel. Very nice view, happy hour and food. They have gluten free snack and breakfast options (don't know about dinner). The hotelroom would have been very nice if it weren't so noisy. Earplugs were provided but didn't do the trick.

Don't judge a book by its cover! Older building is beautiful and updated on the inside. Impeccable service, great rooms. Comfy bed, linens and pillows. Room service was prompt, fresh and delicious.

I really loved staying here. The beds were so comfortable. Great staff and I loved the balcony. Really nice rooms. We stayed here for our honeymoon and we'd love to come back in the future.

Location is great, right off the 405 so it's very convenient. However, that means traffic noises, but nothing that ear plugs won't fix, which front desk had available and brought up to my room. The Room itself was very clean and comfortable for they had climate control on prior to check in so that was nice. Service is wonderful, even without gratuity, which is the hotels policy. The complementary wine night in the main lobby, the pool area and top floor resturant were beautifully designed to enhance a relaxing stay. All in all, it was a luxurious vacation and would do it again.

Very nice hotel, and not a chain. I LOVED how they were gratuity-free, it made using the valet and everything else so much less stressful. For me the highway noise was just white noise. There were some things that weren't quite as organized as a chain like getting all the receipts but this was more than made up for by the clean, comfortable room and the no gratuity policy.

We stay at Hotel Angelino a few times each year. We recently stayed five nights in a king suite over the holidays. We had a wonderful experience. The suite was trendy and spacious. Everything was clean and made a good first impression with two balcony views overlooking the city and ocean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful even with the new "no tip" policy recently put in place. We enjoy the top floor restaurant and ate breakfast every day at the hotel. We had drinks in the lounge and dinner three nights. Each meal was superb and worth the little extra price. Portions are big enough to share a plate and the staff were very accomodating with every request. They had my favorite wine by the bottle and made great recommendations. We truly enjoyed our room but want to make a few suggestions for improvement. 1 — the power curtains are very cool; however they were not working properly in one room. 2 — the carpet was very dirty and needs shampooing instead of a vacuum. We found this out by moving furniture a bit. 3 — the bathroom has no hooks for used towels any where. There is wasted space in the shower but no place to re-use a towel and let it dry. The maid service was excellent although she was still cleaning when we returned from breakfast, twice. It was a minor inconvenience to let her finish while we waited in the lobby. We will be back because we feel as if we live there when staying at Hotel Angelino.

Very good hotel! The room was a bit noisy way freeway, didn't bother me at all. The hotel has parking spaces, the porter drives the cars to the parking spaces. The restaurant has a atmendberaubenden view and very cozy atmosphere.

Hotel Angeleno is amazing. The rooms are not the biggest but it is very comfortable. There is also free parking. The only bad thing is that brekfast costs money. The Wi-Fi is very fast and everything is updated. Parking is free to. I am enjoying my visit very much.

Tried using a hotel voucher I purchased, and it took 11 calls over an 8 week-long period to get the appropriate person to finally call me back. It was definitely not work the effort. The manager did not apologize for forgetting to call me back. Hotel upgrades are nice, but restaurant is pricy for what you get (food is probably 3.5 stars as far as quality goes). Overall, with my poor experience, Ill probably elect to stay elsewhere in the future.

Hotel Angeleno is a nice hotel with a unique design that's right off the 405. Stayed here for a work trip and the room was great. Beautiful vistas from the penthouse bar and friendly staff.

The rooms were beautiful and they welcomed my children by allowing each of them to pick a stuffed animal. However, the bed linens were dirty. The valet workers were not willing to assist us. We requested new linens and it took more than 40 minutes for anyone to come up. The hotel also only had a single elevator, so it took a really long to go to or leave the room.

Great location. Right of the freeway. Near Westwood and UCLA. The restaurant on top has a gorgeous view of LA. You can even see the ocean. They also updated the look. Very modern and clean. Only hiccup is the little noise of the 405 Freeway.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. They lied about my room rate, overcharged me and now somehow there is not one manager on site. The guy who mischarged is not here and they are not on the property. They also were very rude to me and did not act professionally. I will never return to this hotel again. There is a Holiday Imm just up the street that has way better service that I will be staying at for now on.

Very fair price you can find in LA area, and provides free parking to save you another 50 dollars per night. Room was clean and got a nice small balcony, the bathroom is a little small and sometimes can't control the water temperature when taking shower. Location is fine, next to the highway and gets a little loud when you sleeping, takes you about 25 minutes to get to LA downtown. Overall a good hotel.

One of the worst hotel experiences in recent memory. We woke up to deafening drilling and went downstairs to the reception desk, only to see that there was a stack of letters hidden off in the corner saying that there would be construction in UNOCCUPIED areas of the hotel during our stay from 9:30 am onwards (the drilling started around 9). Nobody gave us one of these letters when we checked in, and rude awakening doesn't even begin to describe the insane noise level we experienced this morning. We checked out early because we couldn't even hear each other from opposite ends of the room. They gave us a discount once I complained, but that doesn't give me back my sleep. Gonna go hang out at LAX for 5 hours just to get out of here. Fail.

I really enjoyed my 2 night stay here. The location is very close to UCLA were I was attending a conference. The bag check and valet service was very prompt and convenient. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with all the amenities I needed. Views were beautiful. The complimentary wine hour in the lobby was a very nice touch.

I attended an alumni event at Hotel Angeleno's West Bar and Lounge. The staff was highly professional and the service from the bartenders was prompt and courteous. The decor was nice, if not a little dated. The view of West Los Angeles however, was fantastic.

This is our second stay at Hotel Angeleno and we have been impressed both times. The staff are very helpful and kind, and the rooms are clean and designed well. The penthouse lounge has a great view as well as amazing service and food. I will definitely be back!

Very nice rooms, High rates, so you pay for it, but at least you are getting what you pay for. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which was comforting after a really bad move into town.

The location is not bad, but almost all convenience sites are a bit removed for walking. Complimentary wine is perfect a time to socialize. Rather small rooms but it is nice to be able to look out through the balcony.

Lovely hotel, enjoyed staying here and might do it again. Two negatives are slow wireless Internet unless you pay for faster speed and you have to book your curtisy shuttle in advanced or you might find yourself stuck downtown for a few hours. Thank goodness for Uber! On plus side, great staff, free wine for an hour every day and they busted out free mini cake & champagne for my wife's birthday… hard to beat that! The room was nice and the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom door for our room was a little strange because it was a sliding glass door. It didn't provide much in terms of privacy especially when sharing the room with friends. The location being next to the 405 freeway meant there was a good amount of freeway noise, but the sliding doors blocked it out pretty well. There are also only two elevators for the mentoring building so we found ourselves waiting for quite some time. But overall I would stay here again. The rooms were nice, modern, and comfortable. And the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Overcrowded and not enough staff, they are very disorganized with their reservations. Not happy at all.

Rude rude waitress! First sign of rudeness was from our orders of drinks, I asked her what was a drink she would suggest and she was less than present to answer questions. I was their for a special event at the Angeleno to promote this hotel but from this waitress behavior I felt that she was overly stress and not happy to make a name for the place. I later asked the same waitress for my bill and she said rudely in front of 5 other seated next to me to wait my turn. I didn't even have to say anything before I hear a out pour of "woah, that was rude of her". Coming from my table. yea. I wouldn't come back even if the view was spectacular.

Pretty pricey considering the quality of the room. Nothing big, just some minor details that could easily improve the overall look of the place. View was incredible. Every room has a balcony. TV is a little confusing, and there is no guide. Safe didn't seem to work. Tub didn't drain well. Wanted to know where ice was because there is no posted directions for that, so I called the desk and was on hold for ten minutes. I kept the phone on hold, and walked down to ask, where I was told to wait. When I finally got directions and found the ice and returned to the room, the phone was still on hold. So, if they are busy, don't count on much help from them. The valet parking was fantastic. The employees there were very accommodating and friendly. Free parking in LA is only a dream, so the fact that they have free valet service was incredible. Location of the hotel is great. Bel Air, Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica and the PCH are all in comfortable driving distance. Pool and workout room seemed awesome. Would recommend, and would go there again. Wi-Fi is free, but it kind of is really slow.

FYI book before 5 on the day of the stay. I called in the morning and the rate was $10 cheaper then what she called last minute booking and the AAA rate was $21 more that the last minute rate. The rate at this hotel was cheaper than a lot of the others we compared, but yes, the room is right next to the 405 fwy. The room was clean and appeared to be newly remodeled along with a nice TV and an IPod doc alarm clock. The refrigerator was not plugged in and NEVER got cold so our water was warm in the morning. The happy hour free wine and appetizer was good and the valet guys were nice. The restaurant is overpriced in our opinion, and our waitress was slow and pretty unconcerned with waiting on me and my daughter. We couldn't find a hotel with a jaccuzi in the area, but this hotel did have a nice pool, and workout room. $12 for a Bombay and Tonic and $18 for an in room movie seem a little pricey.

I have been here for the past 4 weeks and will say we have stayed here many times before. As a person who have been manager and evaluation team member I can be very pickey. The team of professional here are well grounded in customer service. This operation can easily compete.

The room was very small and with much noise from the freeway 40 feet away. On the first night we asked for another room on the other side of the hotel and we were told no. The second night we begged for a room on the other side of the hotel, as we had not slept a wink the night before, again we were told no. By the third and last night we were happy to leave. We should also mention that the parking is valet parking, your car is driven to the basement of the hotel which is maybe 100 feet away. When we picked up our car the next day, the seat had been changed to accommodate a larger person, the mirror inside had been changed and the mirrors outside had been changed and their was a different scent inside the car. I believe someone took our car for a long ride during the night, no way to prove it, but my instincts tell me that is what happened. This is not a hotel I would stay at again. Robert Roy.

So I randomly went to go spend time with friends in LA (from Vegas), and found this gem. The front desk staff was awesome especially Cara! The rooms were some of the best I've stayed in (remember I"m from Vegas and have stayed in suites). The restaurant is amazing, has a great view, reasonably priced, and again awesome staff! I was worried it was going to be too far from West Hollywood but not at all. It was a really quick drive over there. I was also worried about the noise from traffic. HA! Not a problem. This will now be my new vacation spot for sure.

My wife accidentally booked the wrong night at the hotel. We called to see if they could fix it. Unfortunately they had already charged her for the previous night. They went on to say that they were all booked up and they could not do anything about it but they could get us a room for around $250 for the night we needed.

Upon arrival we were not greeted at the valet; infact we unloaded our own bags and brought them to our room. The front desk provided us complimentary breakfast vouchers with 2 complimentary drink vouchers for the poor service at arrival. Our room was nothing short of a Motel 6 that had a new bedspread. It was small and outdated. We decided to go to the restaurant and order a drink to relax. As we were poorly greeted there as well we started to feel that this was the normal etiquette of the hotel. We ordered 2 martinis from the bartender and provided him our drink vouchers. He was quick to point out (Literally) that the cost of out drinks were more ($2.00) than the vouchers allowed. Then proceeded to let us know it was not an issue. We went to dinner that evening away from the hotel. As we arrived back we were the only ones around. The valet forcefully and very rudily pushed our driver out of the hotel drive telling her that she was in the way. Funny thing was, there was NO one around. At that point I'd had it with the overall rudeness of the way we were being treated and now other people. I voiced my frustration to the valet and asked him why he is being so rude to her? At that point he became beligerent towards me as if I had done something wrong. As I walked inside the front desk guy who looked as if he had not taken a shower or was even presentable to work at a hotel approached me. He asked me very sternly what my problem was?

Please see my recent photo of the amazing view! Our server was great! He gave us the wrong drinks then promptly ignored us. Stuffed into a corner, under an ac vent, next to a highway, with a view of sheer fabric facing east made this a memorable experience, one I will soon not forget. Thank you Angel hotel.
