I booked a room new years Eve when checking in there were too many people sitting in their cars for my liking. It felt very UNSAFE. I went up to my room on the 11th floor looked out the window and saw police cars and people laying in the street. Enough for me. I gathered my things and left.
When I attempted to achieve a refund I was told by YVETE (she's very fake and rude) that no refund would be given. I never even sat on the bed I was there all off 5 minutes max. I never used the toilet.
dont stay here if you have any hiccups they will not help you.
life is not perfect or easy.

First they gave me a room that was occupied. Surprise for everyone when I opened the door. After I was given another room I ordered food and it was cold. No ADA bathroom. Filthy floor's in the room. No working fan in the bathroom which is illegal. Bug bites on my legs and arms. No working Wi-Fi. Asked about Wi-Fi on Tuesday and got a router and Ethernet cable on Thursday a half hour after my conference call was to be done. I wish I could post pic of my bug bites. I also have a picture of the front desk worker wearing her mask under her nose. Total violation of safe covid practice's. For 160 dollars a night plus tax I expect more than this total disappointing waste of money. I'll never stay here again. Don't waste your money or time with this bad joke of a hotel.

This hotel is a terrible place to stay, first there is no parking, the restaurant only takes credit card no cash, very noise due to construction. The menu at the restaurant is small, I ordered an expensive steaks and it was small very weak. I was told the general manager don't care about customer service and is not friendly at all, so since I heard that, I checked out and went down the next street and check in at the Marriott hotel, overall this place is worst than motel 6. Not customer service friendly at all, I'm surprised that corporate from Holiday Inn allows this type of atmosphere. I won't be recommending this place to my friend when flying in at Long Beach, there are alot of new hotels and friendlier service near by. You guys can stay here at your own risk.

We celebrated a 50th Birthday here on the Penthouse level of the Holiday Inn. Lupe, Gabriel, Alfonso, Gabrielle are a great team—very friendly, attentive and professional. The best of the best.

Mid-century modern iconic building. Great view. Convenient location. Easy access to all metro Los Angeles areas. Friendly & attentive staff. Great bar & restaurant.

I was very impressed with how nice the hotel looked. My friend visiting the area said the room was very comfortable. She was disappointed that the pool wasn't available, but otherwise had a very nice day. The new restaurant at the top of the hotel seems quite swanky. Though, if it had some happy hour prices for locals I might stop there myself to enjoy the view.

Located next to highway. Well insulated rooms. Very convenient location for on and off ramp to highway. 15 min from coastline. Pool was not functional during my stay. One washer and dryer on premises. Staff was courteous and helpful. Outdoor back courtyard has nice seating area where you can party without disturbing anyone. Great penthouse restaurant with nice views.

AC was loud. Complimentary drinks were great though as the penthouse bar was nice. Room is standard for a budget place. No frills nothing special but it serves its purpose. Having a coffee shop in the lobby was nice though and I enjoyed the drink I ordered. All in all it's a useful stay for business trips.

Will never stay there again! 1st morning NO hot water for our showers, 3rd night and was told we had to change rooms (at 10:00pm) for plumbing issues… the room we moved to had trash in it and the refrigerator door was broken and never properly fixed, our keys never worked even after they had to change the entire lock on the door… had bugs in our bed could not have been more disgusted and the pool was under construction, got 2 full size beds when was told we would have queen… their bar/the Vue is so overpriced its unbelievable… NEVER AGAIN.

Best hotel in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful! The restaurant is AMAZING! The food selection is wonderful and every dish was perfectly prepared. Live entertainment most nights made for an enjoyable evening and overall stress-free trip! Highly recommend!

There for an all day conference. The conference room was nice and spacious. Any employee I came across was also very nice. Only 4 stars simply because I haven't been an overnight guest and so I don't know the full service.

Very nice rooms and all right staff at the desk. House keeping is a1 and the bar at the penthouse has really good food.

Once upon a time I needed to extend my stay and was declined service when I was in need of safety I was declined extend stay due to not having a bank issued card for "deposit incidentals" having cash on hand I had already paid 2 nights at a high rate with having said that my experiences with holidays hotels have been poor as a guest and a former Employee was fired for performance when I was the only one that seemed to be performing SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO 245 AIRPORT BLVD AS A TRAINEE EMPLOYEE I HAD TO APOLOGIZE ON BEHALF THE STAFF THAT DID NOT TAKE ACTION TO FIX THE PROBLEM DURING MY 2 MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT 3 CASES OF BED BUGS OF BED BUGS. We were here for one night for a party. The worst hotel experience we have ever had. Front desk had a huge attitude as soon as they saw we had a Hot Wire reservation. They wouldn't let us check in even though was prepaid because my credit card wouldn't accept a charge for $70 for their incidentals. We called the credit card customer service they suggested running by hand pushing in the number, because we have had issues with the chip on my card, they wouldn't "it's not their policy'. They wouldn't accept cash, for the $70, "it's not their policy'. They wouldn't take my wife or my daughter's card because it wasn't the same name as on the reservation, "it's not their policy'. They wouldn't let us see a manager because he wasn't there. They finally told us to leave that "we shouldn't have booked through Hot Wire. " They told us we had 10 min to leave the property or they were going to call the police. We told them please go ahead. They never did just kept threatening us. So finally my daughter who is an attorney called the Long Beach Police. When the police showed up the manager who wasn't there, suddenly came out of the back. He had been walking around the lobby the whole time this was going on we just thought he was a customer. What a coward! The police informed him that they had to accept our prepaid reservation and they couldn't ask us to leave the property. So they then took cash for their $70 deposit. Which we asked them to do an hour earlier.

Great location! Near the airport. The room was clean and adequate for a short stay. They have a courtesy airport shuttle that will also drop you off at nearby businesses. The rooftop restaurant was great.

We had dinner with our group of 10. We go there every couple of months. They changed some of their "rules" from our other visits, but with some pleasing and thinking of leaving, the server did a great job compromising and we had a wonderful time. Great views! A bit expensive.

Don’t ever do airport parking at Holiday Inn Long Beach. Service is slow and they only do pick ups and drop offs every 30 min. If you arrived at 6:35 pm, too bad the guy is gone off to dinner. Ladies at the counter we’re very unfriendly too. People just seems really lazy there.

Stayed here last minute got a great price via hotwire. Staff very friendly and room was perfect. I would stay there again.

The room was very clean and the atmosphere of the hotel was quite unique. The room layout itself was different than most rooms I have been in. The proximity to the airport makes this an excellent choice if you are flying out of Long Beach. The staff was accommodating and there was nothing I could really complain about.

Great location for business travellers, safe property, nice penthouse restaurant and bar. I have come here for years. The upgrades are exquisite.

It's really nice here. The staff is helpful and the front desk is very nice. The cleaning people are very good at what they do. My only thing to say is that the man sitting by the computer area, maybe security is a little ghetto. His cussing is not ok on the job dude. I stayed on the 12th floor and it was very quiet even I was below the restaurant. You hear the airport of course and the freeways. It's very close to the beach the grocery store and shopping. If you want to hike you can go to Signal Hill Park. It's a great hike and beautiful view.

Hotel wasn't bad overall but fitness center was all cardio with little to no weights. Shuttle to long Beach Airport was super convenient.

Very nice hotel. Having a restaurant onsite is great. Great views from the rooms and from the top floor where the restaurant is located. The hotel itself is in a great location. Decent fitness room. All of the staff is great.

This place sucks. We got a voucher for free breakfast and we went in to get our breakfast from the buffet area. At the beginning of the area there was a fridge with waters and there was no other water around. We got our four waters out, one for each person, and once we had them all open and been drinking them a lady came out and said we had to pay for them because they weren’t apart of the free breakfast. There was no sign on the fridge or anywhere to show that they cost money. They made us pay $5 a piece after already drinking them even though they were not labeled and there was no other place to get water. Ridiculous. Also when we first got to our rooms, which were conjoining, both of the key card swipers were broken. This place is not a good and does not have good customer service.

The hotel is easy to find and has good location. Easy access to 405 freeway. Hotel lobby is clean. Friendly staff. Hallway to conference room is a little tricky but there are direction signs you really need to pay attention.

Went here to take care of some business and everything went smoothly. Nice clean hotel and right of the freeway.

We ate with the group in the restaurant at the top level. While not crowded the food is excellent and the view is amazing as you watch the planes landing at the Long Beach Airport. The service also is terrific with no complaint at all. More people should go there. They have a great deal in the early dinner hour that you can get small meals for 50% off their regular menu.

Such an easy and convenient way to park and fly out of Long Beach. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have been parking here for 5 yrs and I will continue to come back. Thank you for your service! ☺

Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Rooms looked recently renovated so they were much better than expected. 5/5 would come again.

Food and drinks were excellent as expected. We had several happy hour items including pork sliders, jalapeno poppers, nachos, and fish tacos. No complaints. Everyone ordered various drinks as well. They have a decent selection of draft and domestic beers. Wines and cocktails were of pretty good quality given the generous happy hour prices. I've lived in Long Beach my whole life and had never been here before but the panoramic view from the city center let me see Long Beach in a totally different light. The employees were all quite professional as well. From the receptionist on the first floor to the servers to the bartender. The live music was a pleasant touch as well. If youre having people from out of town or are a local who wants to see a different view of Long Beach, come here. Great experience. I'll definitely be back.

Service was a bit slow and it took a while for us to receive our check after a not-particularly-busy happy hour. Otherwise, great food at a good happy hour price of 50% off appetizers. The view from the bar is great and the seating/decor is modern and comfortable.

Convenient location, rooms are standard. Right off the 405 fwy and rooms are not sound proof, door and windows leak energy like crazy, certainly​ not 2030 ready, need to upgrade, that didn't prevent us from sleeping as we where very tired. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I would definitely come back.

Excellent and strategic place for a stay. I love the bar on the penthouse floor on the top. The rooms were clean but was disappointed by pool and gym. No jacuzzi. Gym was too small and hot. Beautiful atmosphere.

We had dinner at the very top of the hotel, called Vue. The service was excellent and food was great. Great view of Long Beach and watching the airplanes land. I would love to go back again!

The room provided for our staff meeting was great! The food was very good and the service was impeccable. The experience made our meeting much better.

Early check in was a bit rough, but my entire stay was superb once a few things got ironed out. Great staff. Resturant breakfast was great. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Clean, well-appointed rooms and incredibly friendly staff. We loved the restaurant upstairs, too! Our server, Miguel, did an outstanding job and the food was perfect. After dining there the first night, we went back again the 2nd night to try other dishes. We were very pleased with our stay.

Rooms are small but clean and everything seemed fairly modern. Parking was convenient and there is a restaurant on the top floor with a nice view if you want a quick meal. They serve breakfast starting at 6am which is nice. Food is average and what you'd expect from a hotel restaurant.

The building was very tall and the rooms were nice. The hospitality staff was really nice. Checkout was quick. They only have one shuttle, though and the driver was extremely late picking us up from the airport because he was on a lunch break.

Waiter Miguel really hard worker: attentive and friendly. I hope he's appreciated! I usually really like the roof top atmosphere and the new renovation is okay but wasn't too thrilled with this Asian guy in a suit that started messing with the TV I was watching and then after playing around with the remote, just left it off. " Ah, helloooo I was watching that! ". Not sure if he was a manager since staff told me he went downstairs when I asked for him. I wanted to ask him to t…urn it back on! Other staff figured it out for me. All in all, with the new renovation I hope it still stays comfortable. But P. S. To the hotel, bad move taking some of the view away and covering the window with the bar. Duhhh, I'm there for the view, the atmosphere. Then I'll see if I like the food. And put the Shrimp bacon appetizer back on the menu. Signed, a regular before the new renovation. I'll probably try it again since I'm used to going but I hope it won't disappoint.

We live locally and each time we drive by, my daughter asks about the Holiday Inn. She knows the restaurant is at the top and she had always wanted to eat and catch the sunset. For her 6th birthday, we decided to take her here. It was such an amazing experience. From the moment we went into the elevator, the staff was so friendly. They heard it was her birthday and they were so kind. It was their grand opening to the Vue Bar and still has the courtesy to make it such a memorable evening for my daughter. The GM, chef and other staff stopped by our table just to wish her a happy birthday. So impressed with everyone for their attention to customer service and making our family dinner extra special!

We stay here every year and every year we love it here! The Vue restaurant and lounge has had a makeover and looks great!
The only complaints we have had are
1) being able to enjoy the weekend buffet without a hitch. There is either no food on the buffet or there are no seats available and you must wait. And 2) The fitness center could certainly use an update. There was only one working treadmill, The other was not working. There is one bicycle and one step machine and that is the entirety of the fitness center. With such a large capacity hotel I would think their fitness center would be bigger and in working order.

I stayed there this hole week and was treated as family it is all ways great. The staff is great the rooms are great clean and comfortable the new food menu has changed and it is so good.

My daughters wedding was Friday 20th complete disaster. In her contract no orange products. Why was the re orange slices and orange juice she is highly allergic. The chicken dark meat was under cooked. We were charged a 9 dollar fee to park which was suppose to be free. They also want to tack on a 75.00 fee per night without prior notification. Is this how all holiday inns conduct business? My daughters most important day will be remembered as the worst day she cried for over a hour in a half. She was brought fresh fruit but how can she hug her guest who already ate oranges. Please select another venue for important events. If I could give a negative number I would.

Ac is too loud. You can hear the planes loud noises too. Microwave can be requested for free. Love the bath & body works lotion, shampoo & conditioner. Unfortunately no shower gel.

It is the worst Holiday Inn I have ever known, dirty, old, simply horrible!

Went for a business meeting/breakfast. Food and staff were decent, but the burning plastic smell from the remodeling was unpleasant.

The hotel was totally OK: it is close to the airport; the room was neat, and service was good; the shuttle was convenient, and the staff were friendly. It was under renovation so there was noise while I was staying there. The surroundings were not very interesting however, if you are going there for shopping, entertainment or food.

Lol didnt try to leave this review was reading review idk how I left one. I do plan on staying here though.

View from the room was good. Closeby to the airport. If driving is not a ptoblem prefer some other place sine this is not worth the money you are paying. No kitchen in the rooms as mentioned in the amenities. Cleanliness can be improved. Expensive but not worth it. No laundry for self wash /drying.

Great room and view in the tower, construction was noisy and there was no microwave available. Also if you usually hook up an external HDMI device they locked out that possibility as well.

Great hotel they've allowed us to host our church service there for the past few months the attendants are awesome and always willing to assist us in our set up.

This hotel is a bit disappointing — for $150 a night I at least expect the gym to have A. C. Also I ordered room service and they didn't bring me any water or bread — — when I called to give them that feedback they were rude on the phone.

Holiday Inn is conveniently located next to Long Beach Airport and the 405 Freeway. Free shuttle transportation from the airport or anywhere up to 3 miles from the hotel. Small lobby with clean and modern room. Rooms are available on ground level around the pool and the large rotunda building in the center of it all. Their conference center is also large enough to host almost anything you can think of. Overall, A-OK!

Not a bad place to stay for a few nights. Everything was in good order within the rooms. Got a room with two bathrooms and tvs! The rooms could use an update. Was disappointed for the price you pay, breakfast is not included. Not too many options for food within walking distance.

A little dated. I was on the 4th floor and must have not got the updated room, not like the pictures on the web. Close to 405 and a little noise but not bad for a nights rest. Easy on and off the freeway. Overall Great customer service and front desk help. Will stay again and will ask for the up floor.

Hotel was clean with friendly staff, but the bed was hard as a rock, I could feel every spring pummeling my body and tossed and turned all night. Checked out and found another hotel. Luckily they are remodeling soon, hopefully they will swap the mattresses out as they remodel the tower.
