Great upscale hotel situated in the middle of Rockland Harbor. Amazingly decorated, and very clean. If you stay here, get the ocean view so you can watch the sunrise in the morning. Another awesome reason to stay here is the amount of really cool local restaurants within walking distance. Staff is wonderful and caring. Will stay again!

I recommend staying elsewhere, although a beautiful hotel they are terrible with customer service and cancellation policies. Refused a $120 deposit refund with a ten day notice in the dead of winter.

Staff is excellent — very guest oriented, friendly and genuinely seem to care — very rare these days.
There breakfast is delicious, healthy options and fresh.
Rooms are specious and clean — ours came with an amazing view!

This was the most gorgeous hotel! Everything was incredible! The staff was so nice… perfect location with shops/restaurants all in walking distance. Would recommend highly and hope to come back soon.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. I loved the decor and the roof top deck with its magnificent view. The breakfast was delicious and offered something for everyone one.

The architecture and decor are striking yet subtle. Unique touches throughout, like a guide book describing all of the lobby furniture and artwork; a 'water' tap in the lobby offering tepid, ice-cold, and sparkling water; a spyglass in our suite to look out over the harbor.
The entire staff is amazing — they all go above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Every staff member who greets you will ask how you are enjoying your stay — even Housekeeping.

The staff are very friendly and what to make sure I was happy with the room I am in. It is a beautiful Hotel.

Rockland is a fine town and now it has a fine hotel. Our room was the family room with a drop-dead view of the harbor, but if you don't want to splurge not to worry: the view from the rooftop terrace is open to all. The staff are excellent, helpful with restaurant suggestions, and attentive without being unctuous. A complimentary glass of wine and some nibbles await you at the end of the day. Breakfast is simple but the coffee is good.

This is a really nice hotel. I stay there each summer when I pick up and drop off my kids at camp. The hotel is very nicely designed. Really like it. It is also in a very good location right in the middle of Rockland. There are lots of great restaurants just down the street. I also liked the Farnsworth museum in town. They have a great collection of Wyeth paintings. It is a small museum so you may not spend that much time there, but it is great for a couple of hours.

Have stayed at 250 Main twice. The rooms are beautiful and equipped with everything you might want. Lovely happy hour with wine so good I took a photo of the bottle, great snacks too. Breakfast with fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, croissants and strong coffee is perfect. Loved seeing all the art. The staff is helpful and friendly. Be sure to take a walk up the stairs and have some fun! We will definitely return.

I love 250 Main Hotel. Each time I go there we have a great room, very special decor and a great location. Breakfast and Evening Social Hour is a nice add to the day as well.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at — everything about it is sleek, modern, and comfortable. It's adorable and kitschy, without going overboard. I loved the nautical aesthetic, local art, and the overall vibe. It's an impeccably cool place. My boyfriend and I stayed over one night in a balcony room directly across from the harbor. Walking to town was easy, as was the check in/check out process. We loved the light breakfast but mostly we loved the coziness and cleanliness of it all, along with its little nuances. We both agreed that the bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept on. (Those pillows are a dream! ) The storage in the room, the amenities, the little sketchbook they leave you to document your travels, it's attention to detail like that which makes even the shortest stay unforgettable. They offer a wine social, if that's your jam. We'll partake next time! Parking was a breeze, and the location cannot be beat. Be sure to check out their pre-peak season rates and package deals.

Went and stayed there with wife again this time it was great, all the staff were polite and respectful to all our needs,. It was a really nice hotel, up to date and very clean,. I will be back the best place to stay in Rockland Maine.

Went and stayed there with wife, the girls at counter we're nice. But the manager or whatever she was made me feel out of place, like I don't belong in her hotel. That the hotel was to good for me or she was to good. It was a really nice hotel, up to date and very clean.

Attended Pies on Parade at this location. Beautiful hotel, with a fascinating design. The interior of the lobby is meant to resemble the interior of a boat. They paired with Cafe Miranda and served pizza pie.

This boutique hotel is stunning. The rooms are very private and well appointed, and the beds are luxurious, but a country bumpkin like me sometimes needs help with things like how to unstopper the bathroom sink. (Push to plug, push again to unplug. ) Main Street runs right by the front door but the rooms above are well sound-proofed. The harbor and beyond provide some gorgeous views, especially at sunrise. And the young, professionally-trained staff are all a study in discreetness and service. Close to all downtown sites, events, and services. We love to stay here.

Hotel is beautiful, modern, funky and stylish. Staff was very nice and helpful. The view from our room was gorgeous and we could see the breakwater. We easily walked to dinner. Lots of great details to check out for decor. We loved our stay.

I travel a lot whether it be business or pleasure. I have stayed at many hotels, but I was extremely pleased with my stay at 250 Main Street. My wife and I were able to get a room on the 5th floor and the view was amazing. Also the room was well designed and extremely comfortable. However, the biggest pleasure was the entire staff! Extremely friendly, professional and they all had an attitude of gratitude for our stay. We met the GM Ruth and you can tell her positive attitude runs throughout all the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I am certain we will be back in the near future. I highly recommend this establishment.

Love sitting in lobby with morning coffee starting my day after a wonderful night sleep. Third time staying here and will come back many more times.

Brand new (from ground up Not a remodel) boutique hotel with 26 rooms. No restaurant or bar but they serve simple breakfast and there are several restaurants in walking distance that are very good (ie Archers). Service is friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend and would stay here again. Online pics do it justice when searching Google.

Spent two nights here. We had a first rate experience. The staff was terrific. Just a mile up the street from Primo. Be sure to check out their roof top gathering place. Great views of the harbor. Sort of a one, two, three combo that is very hard to beat.

Nice place, very modern. Good location and the rooftop terrace has a beautiful view. We would have preferred coffee in the room, or at least available in the lobby by 5 am.

I travel a fair amount and have stayed at a variety of hotels both domestically and internationally. I've stayed at the 250 Main Hotel twice and it has become one of the top 5 on my list. The hotel is intimately comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, always wearing a genuine smile. The lobby is welcoming and relaxing, offering a complimentary social hour in the afternoon of wine and small snacks. One of the best features is the rooftop patio, where you can view some amazing sunrises and sunsets. The rooms are modern and very comfortable, with art on each floor from varying artists. This has become my "go to" hotel for Rockland and I look forward to my next visit.

Beautiful art. Very cool modern rooms. Heated bathroom floor. Rainfall shower. Beyond comfortable bed. Close enough to all the shops we could drop our bag and go walk around and SHOP and EAT:) Almost no traffic noise in the evening. Had a wonderful, fun and relaxing birthday thank you 250main!

Accommodating staff with beautiful, clean rooms. The hotel is peaceful and quiet. The location is ideal and and rooftop deck is perfect (weather permitting)
