If I could give this place a negative review, I would. Where do I begin? First of all, the customer service is horrible. At the price you’re paying, you would expect a clean room right? wrong. The sheets had stains on them of what appeared to be piss along with a rancid smell. I live in calexico and the whole reason I rented this place was to use the pool since it gets so hot here. I couldn’t even do that. The pool was FILTHY as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months. I brought this to the managers attention that the pool wasn’t ready and that the sheets were nasty. I didn’t know I had to request a clean room, I thought it was just common sense. She refused to give me refund or even change the room. They DO NOT care about their customers because if they did they would refund me when I clearly stated that I didn’t feel comfortable staying in that nasty hotel. I wish I could attach photos because I took ALOT. They’re greedy and money hungry. Do not waste your money here. As I was walking back to my room pissed off I noticed 2 roaches on the floor by the restaurant downstairs GROSS. I wouldn’t wish a stay here for my worst enemy. What a nightmare!

Where do I begin to explain that Hollis hotel in calexico has the most worst customer service ever, THE MANGER raises her voice at guest, interrupts the guests while speaking like what the hell and also the reviews said the hotel standards are great 1. The pool is filthy 2. The sheets are stained look looks like piss like what the heck what should I do, I am demanding a refund back she is refusing to give the refund back and there is no sign posted about no refund and she did not tell us she cannot give us a refund like what the hell I read it in the California law Hotel/motels they are suppose to meet standards which they did not and is refusing to give a refund.

Very clean the room had everything from hair dryer, refrig. Coffee machine W/Coffee The service was excellent everyone went out of they way to us comfortable.

If you want a step room just to sleep one night this well, but if you want a room to enjoy in couple it doesn't work. The rooms are old with everything and their furniture. The phone Doesn't work, not Wi-Fi. There is No customer service, the receptionist has a lousy customer service.

The Hotel is very central in Calexico and that is perfect if you have exits. It's very close to the line too. The rooms are not a big deal, it has what is needed, but honestly I did not make me worth what they cost. We Paid $70 per night for a room of 2 beds, they did not have a separate room as it was in the pictures on the website, the coffeemaker was in the bathroom, the good thing is that they had microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast is continental, only cereal, toasted bread and oatmeal packets, and one or two of each. I Don't think we're staying here again. Maybe This is good for a single person who only needs where to sleep and is not going to have breakfast there but for a family of 4 it was not the best.

The room I stayed in (Room 120) first floor had dead roaches on the wall, next to the sink, and under the sink counter! The hair dryer in bathroom provided by the hotel didn’t work the toilet wouldn’t flush! I asked to talk to the manager and all she said was sorry! She didn’t offer a discount or a refund or credit after I told her! Horrible customer service will never be back here again! Not worth the money I paid for it! Don’t waste your money here! If I could give it a negative star I would!

Near Mexicali, clean rooms at a reasonable price… Close to the boarder…

We stayed Sep 7th, 2017. The first room they gave us (117), the bathroom's door didn't close and they thought that that was not a big deal. They: "Do you really need to close the bathroom's door when you go? ". Me: Yes. They moved us to (120) had an old TV without the converter box from analog to digital signal therefore there was no working TV in the room, we found a cockroach on the bed, and the toilet bowl was not flushing properly. Both rooms didn't have a working telephone so I had to physically go to the front desk to ask for a better room the first time. We have to settled for the worst one the second one since our airplane was leaving from Mexicalli BCN the next morning very early it was already very late and we had already change into our pajamas. Their Wi-Fi didn't work so it was a nightmare. I might have the room numbers mixed, but that was our experience at this place.

Terrible rental arrangements, most certainly needs new management.

Ugly rooms. Fridge didn't work. Telephone didn't work. Wifi was horrible. Won't be staking here again.

It is a hotel that needs remodeling, it smells ugly to enter, hallways and. Rooms, the carpet is old and dirty, smells bad, offer Wi-Fi and does not work within the. Quarters, the truth do not recommend, is expensive for what it is and for what they offer.

This hotel is so bad is nasty, roaches in the bathroom they don't change the sheets … oh and Breakfast is nasty very unprofessional place oh the chance the name of the hotel now… I don't recommend it…

Bad old place smells like abandoned place I will not stay again there.

Stayed 2-27-2015 booked two nights. Stayed only one night. Room fire alarm was gutted, power outlet in bathroom did not work so could not make coffee or run hair dryer, breakfast was disappointing for a QUALITY INN.

Excellent service and pricing. I also sleep better in your beds than I do my own! Everyone is helpful, friendly, and happy. They are very polite, even when we arrive after midnight! Love it here!

My name is Alma Rico from California. The first time I stayed here I was with my son, sister, niece, and friends it seemed like we were the only ones staying there that night but I didn't care cause all I wanted to do is sleep. I then saw a few reviews on other websites and saw a lot of negative ones, so then I'm there thinking, "was it a mistake staying here" I can say it looked creepy but I couldn't complain cause there was nothing to be afraid of. I can say that the rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable and for the price, it was great. I left the Hotel thinking it wasn't too bad and I would stay again. I came back to Calexico and stayed 3 nights and I can say that I really enjoyed my stay. The manager was very nice and polite, Aurora is an employee there too and she was great. So for those people relying on the reviews, ignore them you have to see for yourself trust me. You won't regret it, its very clean and comfortable. Give the Hotel a high five.
