$15 price hike for the same old & yucky rooms.

It's not right, but we needed accommodation close to the pass and we took it.

Quiet clean safe at cheap price.

They have good prices the service is so so, the hotel is about 4 blocks away from the border makes for a good place to set up in order to go into Mexicali. I've used this hotel probably four times each time I left items in the bed of my truck and nothing was bothered.

The worse place I ever stay.

I come in 2-3 times each year for the dove season. Staff at the front desk always nice and helpful. Room cleaning excellent. I've been to other motels in the area but John Jay is the best thus far. No need to stay anywhere else. Breakfast is not bad… typical eggs, soggy bacon, waffle maker, breads, fruit, juices and coffee.

There I wait for the piper to go to work.

Worst motel I have ever stayed at. The owner's were unnecessarily rude & the room was in disrepair & I even saw a cockroach. To anyone looking for a hotel in Calexico anything would be better than Border Motel.

It's pretty cheap here but you see why when you see the rooms.

Looks can be deceiving, it has a pleasant external appearance but once entering the room can persivir, cleanliness and comfort, although we recommend an investment in the climatic equipment. Usually a little noisy.

Room was VERY clean and desk clerk very helpful.
