You get what you pay for I guess. I probably should have given it 2 stars. Not clean and the staff was very rude.

Popular place clean and cheap.

The front desk staff was very accommodating in helping us. The front desk graciously helped us make new reservations. The rooms were large and clean, with comfortable beds, and better than anticipated.

Room was clean, large with nice comfortable bed. Manager was super friendly and caring. All staff friendly and helpful. Will stay here again when I need to.

To start off the rates were great and affordable. As soon as we walked into our room it looked really clean and had a clean smell as well. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had enough nice hot water for my husband, our two kids and myself. The location is great!

The level of service I get is top notch and the rooms are great. They always say you get what you pay for and I say with this hotel you get way more then you pay for. I’ve stayed here 3 times now and I expect to stay here every time I’m in town now.

Small rooms but clean and with extremely comfortable beds at a good price. Rooms are arranged around a central parking lot so you can park very close. Awesome respite when I was on the road, coming out of Mexico!

It's a decent little place, with real low rates. I only had a few problems with the outside not having enough seats and ashtrays. Our air conditioner knob was broken so we couldn't control the temp. The water pressure on the sink was also not that great. Other than that it's cool for what it is. It has a parking lot, direct tv, and Wi-Fi, along with other amenities. I didn't see an ice machine though.

Ok service with the price.

You got what you pay! price fair enough, but smells so bad, cockroaches in the bathroom, smoke detectors start beeping at 8:00 am to wake up you, enough to never comeback here! ah! the last thing this place is cross the border, staff there no speak Spanish!

Es un lugar en el que volveria a ir ya que hace un determinado tiempo que no conseguia ir a un lugar asi ya que delimitadamente lo ocupe y fue un buen servicio al que procedio el apartamento.

If you are looking for a place to sleep in Calexico or El Centro this is the place for you; if you are coming in from Mexico you can even walk to it. It is across the street from the city hall, so there is a guard outside during business hours. It is also across the street from the bank WelsFargo with like 5 ATMs that people are continually using at all hours, so yeah, it is safe! This hotel was out of business for over a year and the wonderful family taking care of the hotel now are doing and excellent job. I got there around 1am and they allowed me to check in early for a small fee (check out is at 11am). I enter the room and it was clean and comfortable. The microwave wasn't working and it was exchange on request. I made some comments about the room and when I came back to the hotel everything was taking care of — I left for the weekend and came back on Monday; They even offered me a ride to my rental car company — for free! (No one else does that). I was late on checking out and they where also very reasonable, what else can I say. Thank you.

California Suites is a comfortable, air conditioned, friendly bargain motel that is quiet and safe. I enjoyed the armchair, coffee maker and quality mattress. The owners are friendly and the rooms are decorated nicely with hot showers.

They Stold $150 from my mothers purse while leaving the room for 15 minutes. I dont recommend this motel at all!

Clea rooms with working flat screens and ac. Good amenities for the price. The manager was very patient and helpfull with any requests I had, and the lady was also very kind when she helped me out with my laundry. Affordable, quiet, good people, good service at a good price. Check it out I recommend it.
