Definitely recommend this place very nice and clean rooms very spacious have no complaints.

Enjoyed our stay, staff is great.

Great de room very clean, but a little problem with the TV do not was working this not a problem.

It had nice rooms and nice TV. The breakfast was good and the service was great.

Nice but crowded since it was opening day of duck hunting season MEMORIAL DAY weekend. Hunters toting shotguns in gun cases took most of the rooms up because this town is no prime tourist spot.

Nice place to stay. Pool is great, free breakfast was tasty and rooms are clean & updated.

Great Staff (all of them) Comfy beds, maids do a great job everyday. Clean facility and smiles from everyone. Night shift woman was very patient with my lack of brain cells after a 20 hour day, and helped me get into my room. Thank you to all the staff for making the week for myself and my crew very relaxing and stress free. Nothing but 100%

I recommend you, not to stay in this hotel with your valuable things. I stayed at this hotel and forgot my bag and when they gave it to me, I had my jewelry missing from it and they told me they were going to investigate and supposedly they did and that no one had it. They have some thieves as employees and now they are saying they can’t do nothing about it, all I can do is just file a complaint. Grrr.

My company books rooms for me all the time. I noticed that in every hotel I go when I have a big problem the GM helps me out, but in this hotel the GM is always in meetings, never has time to talk to me which it upsets me, I already checked out an I call so many times but she’s always out. Front desk staff try moving me to another room but that won’t resolve my issues, plus it was 11pm I wasn’t gonna move I was really tired. The hotel has problems with little black bugs and it makes it look real bad, they always run out of breakfast food, lately is just hurrible to stay here; I used to love staying here but with the GM meetings and never able to resolve my problems I am definitely never coming back. I really recommend who ever is the owner to start paying attention to this hotel or is going to lose a lot of guest thanks to the management.

Stayed here a few times on business, was extremely difficult to get a receipt for one stay from the front desk (had to physically go back to the hotel to get it on another trip, calls and emails resulted in nothing) and ended up with duplicate charges from a different stay that the staff is refusing to remove. Nice enough hotel but the front desk staff is absolutely worthless.

Check in was good but proceeded to give me a room that had a squealing pipe noise that would not go away. They gave me a room on the third floor but said that they already knew about that problem. I'm a platinum member but they still gave me a room with a known problem. The hotel was also "sold out". I stayed two days on points and the second day the front desk clerk was surprised I was able to book the room. He seemed to want to cover their "sold out" quote by saying they had a few rooms left. It's either sold out or not. No reason to lie? Anyway, I recommend the Holiday Inn Express in El Centro. Everything is better there. They also have a evening reception with food and drinks. Lastly, no late check out is allowed here. Check out is 11 am and they are extremely firm with that policy. Even for Platinum members. Once again. I recommend the HIE in El Centro. 2pm check out is no problem. Overall I recomend the HIE in El Centro. It is a better hotel with better management.

Besides it being windy here the place was great! Did not like the part of having to disconnect and reconnect power to my TV a few times just for it to reboot and turn on. But other then that everything was great.

Great staff and cleanest rooms in town and at a decent price.

The rooms are spacious and clean. My recent room had new carpeting and was just remodeled. The downside is that it is very noisy here. You can hear people in the hallways and other rooms as well as traffic and parking lot noise. I was woken up several times by other people just doing what other people do. I think I'll stay in Mexico next time.

En ingles, my stay was very nice and relaxing after a day and half at the dunes. The breakfast let me and my wife recharge our batteries for the week.

Service was great they helped me find my room it was actually fun, but didn't get sleep, and the pool temperature was nice.

It is the best of the best in Calexico Ca I recommend it widely, all bienal100%!

This is the best hotel in the area. Why!?! … the staff is well trained and very professional, the rooms are spacious and clean and Applebees is next door. The Applebees staff next door takes great care of hotel guest.

The room was clean, fairly spacious, and had all the usual amenities you would find at a Holiday Inn Express. The water pressure in the shower was excellent. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet, it was very tasty and more than what I was expecting. I would definitely stay there if in town again.

Fter a long trip handling hours with a lot of heat, and children waiting to arrive and throw away to the pool with what they really count,
i wanted to reserve one day before, on arriving and after registering properly and making me the charge on my card the employee of reception, inform me that the pool is not operating "" ""!
i was very disappointed and hungry, asked that I would receive that I would be informed before making me the collection not after, so I decided if I stayed or not,
already I informed bothly that it could cancel but with a penalization, $$$$,,,
the truth I ruined the stay about all the little, that by true I had to change to the next day of the hotel as at 11 am the following day the swimming pool did not operate when you wear children and are very hot and sunny days is the main and important attractive for recreation and cooling in which it was supposed to make a very good place

A lot nicer than I thought it would be for a random room in the middle of nowhere! Clean and quiet.

It's nice but forgot some shoes and a watch called a few hours later and they told me that there was nothing there.

Right across the street from the Applebee's! Can't beat that location! The rooms are great, beds are comfortable, and the service and staff is excellent.

The staff was very friendly but I could not get past all of the BUGS. I talked to the staff and they said the bugs are seasonal and there isn't a lot they can do about them. They said they were water bugs, I tried reading about them at the time but it made it worse. I would have stayed at a different hotel in the area if I had thought there was something better but according to all the reviews this Holiday Inn was the best in the Caliexcio area. Since they claimed it was seasonal I assumed the bugs would be in every hotel. I asked them to vacuum my room a couple of times and I even changed rooms. My 1st room was at the end of the hallway by the exit and it was a lot worse than the room I was moved to in the middle of the building. Both of the rooms were on the 3rd floor. Luckily I only had to stay 2 nights, I don't think I could have stayed a 3rd.

I stayed here for years. I like the people here very friendly. Enjoy the stay every time.

Our stay was exactly what we expected. Beds provided were clean, and breakfast was served in the morning. A fitness center is provided, in the case one needs to continue their workout regimen. Wireless internet is also provided along with the room. Only caveat being that the televisions are limited to the channels provided and do not allow for external sources to be plugged in. Though minor, this was slightly disappointing.

Perfect location by the border. Room was new and clean. The bed felt great and the bathroom was modern and clean. I will stay with them again best choice in Calexico.

Great and friendly service. The concierge at the desk on the evening was super helpful with everything. Very accommodating since I was there for work and had late hours. His name was Patrick. Awesome service by the staff too, very friendly and greet you with a smile :)

Nothing to special, location is close to food and other goods. Price is reasonable.

The holiday Inn was nice but not great. Hbo and showtime were listed on the TV but did not work. I was given a room number and key at check in but when I entered the room there was already someone in it. The front desk staff was very nice about it and tried to find me an suite to upgrade but they were full. Overall an OK experience considering the mess up.

Awesome hotel! we used to stay at the Araiza but the service sucks there. I prefer this one. Amazing staff.

I stay at HI Expresses all over the country and my favorite is Calexico. The fresh fruit, evening receptions and amazingly helpful staff make it stand out from the larger HIEs. It's worth the extra travel to go there. I even stay there when I'm in Yuma, and commute the 50 miles to Calexico.

I loved it. It was very clean and my room was very comfortable. Customer service was great. I had a slight problem with the first room and without delay they gave me another room. I would stay here again.

Great hotel. Didn't have a reservation and they worked us in last minute. Movie theater and Applebees within walking distance. Plenty to do around hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly as well.

Just discovered this great hotel. The location is superb. Close to Mexicali, restaurants, Wal-mart. Applebees, Dennys etc. The staff at the Front Desk — Carlos, Racquel, Beatriz, Ana and Salvador are excellent. Genuine hospitality. Rooms are hugeeeeee. My mini-suite was bigger then my apartment in San Diego. I am real picky guy. I could not find any thing wrong when I went to the pool, jacuzzi, gym or use the laundry. The hot breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a great assortment. The hotel felt brand new and I will continue my stay here for longer.
