Great service, nice hot & cold breakfast… love the pool.

Made a same day reservation. A few hours later I realized I made it in the wrong city. I called the front desk to try to cancel and was redirected to Booking. Com. I was on the phone with Booking. Com and the front desk back and forth for hours. The hotel was waiting for an email to cancel the reservation but claimed never got it even though I personally provided it to Booking. Com. I asked for a note to be left to not charge me because I tried so hard to cancel. It was an honest mistake. I understand your policy but mistakes happen and I tried to rectify it. I didn’t just not show up. I couldn’t. I was in a different city. I live in San Diego. I was charged and manager Dominique was very apathetic and completely unwilling to help not even with a credit. It’s my hope that People need to understand that we’re all trying to recoger in a hard hit economy. We don’t need to deal with this kind of companies that are not humane. Never will I stay at a BW again.

Here is the breakfast bag they give out. This is the best they can do. It’s more like a lunch snack. Wth.

Great front desk! Always a pleasure to visit. Check out the hot tub! Give em an hour to bring it up to temp. Nice in winter months, pool in summer!

Super hot water the conditioner ase a lot very cold noise does not lower the temperature.

I love BW! My husband, pup & I travel coast to coast as truck drivers. This location is in our top 5! Dog friendly, trucker friendly (although if you have a trailer you might need to park it in the Calexico 10 Theater lot next door), such awesome customer service, and close to anything you might need.

2 out of 3 stays this year they have botched the reservation. Staff always has responded and addressed the issue in a friendly manner but do I have to expect this after being on the road… Besides room mixup, this time only 1 towel in the suite and toilet broke with no maintenance available. Wife put out do not disturb and the still came in and mid stay all of our keys were reprogrammed… maybe a hint that they wanted us to leave?

Very nice place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. Also, very convenient to places near by (theater, Walmart, Applebee's, Denny's and more).

Great place, friendly staff, nice and quiet, breakfast was great and it's in a good location, nearby shopping center and restaurants, if I ever come back this way I'll be coming back here.

I over slept and when I was leaving to take care of some Work issues it was well past 1pm I asked if it was too late for maid service and she said that the ladies who did that work were already done for the day but asked if I needed any towels or anything, I said no problem I understand it was my fault for asking so late in the day and I went about getting my things done around town. When I returned to my room several hours later I was pleasantly surprised that they had completely cleaned my room not just a turn down service but a complete clean with greasy sheet towels soaps and shampoos! Awesome because it was 110 outside and I was hit and exhausted and it was really nice coming back to a fresh clean room, thank you for whomever made that happen you’ve earned a lifelong customer and I travel for business to calexico several times a month. Thanks Best Western John Jay Inn for always providing and clean comfortable reasonably priced room y’all ROCK!

Very caring and friendly staff. Nice pool escape the heat. Fitness center rowing machine was great to get my morning started.

Its a nice hotel conveniently located. Very quiet nice comfortable beds and friendly staff. Maria the manager is amazingly helpful and very informed about the surrounding places of interest. Over all a nice place to stay. Very satisfied.

It's a little worse for the wear, and it smells like it's been non smoking for, like, a week. Still, a pretty standard low end business travel establishment, and it's clean and functional. Probably not many better options in town.

Excellent attention by the beautiful manager Maria Palomera, cozy place with pool, Yakusi, gym, and Internet.

As far as Best Westerns go this one is definitely sub-par. The pool was never open and working during our stay. There was a whole in the ceiling by the elevator. If possible stay at another hotel, or the Best Western in El Centro instead.

Vic, the owner and Maria, at reception allowed us to leave our vehicles in the hotels secure parking lot for 10 days while we rode our motorcycle into Mexico and back. A great place to spend the night, so that you can cross the border early in the morning. With little hassle. The front desk was helpful in communication issues with other Spanish speaking hotels on my journey.

Was inn town for a family function and was VERY pleased with our experience with your facility. My brother got a suite for $89, and although my room was originally quoted at $109 for a room with 2 queen beds, the young lady who checked us in was nice enough to lower the price to $89. The facility was nice and clean, staff friendly and our rooms were nice. Will definitely stay there again when in that area.

I have stayed at the Calexico, El Centro, and Santa Ana locations over a dozen times in the last year. Each stay has been very enjoyable. I was able to work in the room via the internet when I am on business without issues. When I have stayed for vacation, the experience has always been great. The pools are well kept, which is awesome for getting in a little exercise. Looking forward to my next stay!

Rooms are clean, breakfast is good. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Our stay was great, we'll be back again in a couple weeks.

Spindle is franchised by the point system. Accumulate enough points to stay 3 days FREE! This hotel is very clean. It has cable and fast Internet included. Breakfast is also included. They lay eggs, bacon, cereals, bread, fruit, coffee and more. If you want something better there's an IHOP in the same parking lot. Good hotel I use it quite when I visited a lot of family in Mexicali.

The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and quiet. Close to restaurants and shopping. Movie theater close by.

I give it one star as I did not spend the night. After my husband mistakenly picked the wrong choice for reservation; I contacted BW Customer Service within a day as we had unforeseen travel issues, contacted was made within 48 hours. I was told too bad. There is still one more outstanding night that they will be able to charge me — it's the last money they will make from us! Not only was my request within 48 hours, it was more than 1.5 months before the reservation. My husband and I now travel between Nova Scotia, Costa Rica and Arizona — I will take my business elsewhere!

The rooms are clean. The breakfast is free and decent. Not great. Decent. My kids love the staircase and Fruit Loops. The staff is kind and professional. The parking lot can be dark but there are plenty of people that feel safe parking their vehicles. Recently remodeled. Fresh paint. News furniture. We stay her at least once a year before crossing the border.

This is our home away from home. Have been staying here on a regular basis for the last two years while we see the dentist. Rooms always clean, love the refrigerator/microwave in the rooms. Beds very comfortable. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast and clean area. Close to several restaurants, Wal-Mart, and threater.

It's an ok hotel. The rooms have a fridge and microwave, which is nice, but the TV doesn't have a menu. The rooms are spacious, but good luck finding a room with a working bath tub. This place is the epitome of a 3 star average hotel on every level. Wi-Fi is ok, but not great; it has a laundry room, but it's small. The rooms have A. C. But they don't really cool the room to the temp you set it at, they just make it barely comfortable. The guy working here is very good though, I don't want to get him in trouble, so I'll just say his service was excellent. He also tried to find me a room with a working bathtub, and found out that none of the tubs drain plugs work. I just wanted to take a bath, but every available room was the same, drain plug doesn't work, the water just drains and you can't fill a bath. I mean, does nobody take baths at this hotel? How does a place have no working bath tub drains and not even realize it? Anyway, dude was cool, not his fault the drains don't work, but I appreciated all his help. His courtesy brought my review from 2 stars to 3.

Great staff, clean room, always accommodating. Have stayed here several times over the years. Restaurants within walking distance. Truck parking available.

Stay here whenever I need a break from the truck and they have never disappointed me.

Good place to stay they always treat me good but when you don't have a car not to many choices of food if you have a car there is several good places and a Walmart.

Very nice hotel. Quiet surroundings. Friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere. Definitely would recommend staying and would stay again if in the area.

This hotel is very clean nice beds friendly staff and basic breakfast which is good we will definitely stay there again
Also a movie theater and Applebee's is on the same street we tried them both the theater was nice for a small town the Applebee's like any other.

We had a nice stay here. We enjoyed using the hot tub associated with the pool. Our room was fine with no problems. The breakfast was the usual hotel fare, nothing special but nothing wrong either. The front desk staff was friendly.

The nicest motel we could find in the area good price clean breakfast included in the morning.

Nice ppl nice clean room and plenty big rig parking… clean pool and hot tub!. And exercise room… movie theatre next door and Wal-Mart across street :-) :-) definitely come back here to stay couple of days again.

Very disappointing for a Best Western affiliated hotel. Toilet paper was of the see-through very-fine-sandpaper variety found in public restrooms and low quality truck stops throughout the country. There's also a full length mirror on the inside of the door to the bathroom directly facing the toilet allowing one to see him or her self from an entirely new perspective. Kleenex dispenser was damaged and bent, disturbing to the eye. Also disturbing to the eye was the quality of the cable used for their poorly located television sets. They use analog cable for a perfectly fine fairly new flat screen TV which distorts the appearance of everything on every channel. The TV itself is lower then the line of sight from the bed forcing one to sit upright if you want to watch something before nodding off. Again, not what I've grown to expect from a Best Western affiliated hotel.

The most important thing is, that u have good assistant in front office. Good and my name is Ricardo Ozuna. I go almost every twice a month. Because I like the service. And the workers very nice people.

Nice but kind of expensive for being in the middle of no where. Could be a little better in price for guest staying longer then 2days.

Very nice hotel butttt. Make sure the price u were quoted is the price they give u and not something else we were quoted 73.97 and at check out our bill was 88.97 make sure u double check it.

Kinda expensive no semi parking at all.
