Great location, but the view from room windows are bad — just walls of neighboring buildings. I asked front desk if they could give me a room with a better view — but it was still bad, so sad. I think they could've done better.

Good location and surrounded by shopping malls and easy access, 5 min walk to Siam Paragon, BTS and shops. So far my room is in good condition, only the in house phone in room cannot be use due to the cable was loose. Process of checking in was quite smooth.

Please save your time and don’t book from this hotel. The worst customer service ever. So I have booked a test and go package at this hotel. On the website it said they will send a confirmation letter within 24 hours. After a day with no response, I still didn’t receive any emails from them, so I email them again. Also I texted them on Facebook. The only thing they respond was “hey”. After 2 days, I still received any response, so I called them. First time calling, they said they “missed” my email, put me on hold and never pick up again. Second time calling, they heard my voice, hung up on me. What kind of customers service is this? Super disappointed. Do not book from them. I would give this experience — 1000 stars if I could.

Room not very well maintained. Many tiny cockroaches on the bar/fridge counter. Quite disgusting and I has to kill one relatively big one.

I had an Awesome service from the receptionist, Ms Yaya at the Executive Lounge. Love it and Recommend it to everyone who plans to visit Bangkok. Nice hotel with great service.

Superb location that is about it. The room is super dusty and carpet looks tired and need spring cleaning. Overall the room is not clean. The aircon wasn't working and had to get a handy man down to fix it. The extra bed didn't come, the staff brought the linen to prepare the couch as extra bed. Had to demand for extra bed to be brought in. Refused to bring out the couch.

I always stay at novotel siam be it leisure or work. Yesterday I took the lift and the lift dropped a total of 3 times. The door couldn’t open until about 3 times. It was very scary. Even as I got to ground floor, lift door couldn’t open. When it finally opened, there was a sign outside that shows lift under maintainance. Not sure why there isn’t such a sign on every level or why the lift door still opened up for guests when it’s under maintainance. Told the security, not sure if due to language communication, they merely took away the sign. Spoke to the front counter, did not receive any satisfactory response even though they checked the cctv and clearly saw the lift shaking. Also not sincere in providing updates.

It's location, location and location. Yes, it is near shopping malls like Siam Paragon and BTS, less than 5 minutes walk. The deluxe room is fine, bed comfortable, bathroom clean, shower strong enough and other standard facilities are OK. When my wife wanted to rest on the bed, she was shocked when she saw stain on the bedsheet. Reported to hotel, they immediately offered the adjacent room 1406 for us. Because of the prompt action, the hotel won the good will and we got over the shock very fast. Later in the day, a letter with fruit basket delivered to the room as apology. Anyway, we are happy with the responsiveness of the hotel. Re the buffet breakfast, I think they can do better. The dining area is not bright enough, a bit too gloomy for morning. On the whole the staff of the hotel measured up to the typical Thai hospitality, they are good. The price I paid is a little bit high. 20% less will be more reasonable. By the way, a recommendation for others, as the lower floors are still undergoing renovation, please ask for deluxe rooms located at higher floors.

4 star hotel. Modest. Clean and comfortable. Shoppers will find it well located in Siam area. Its 2 minutes away from the Sky train station.

I’m a fairly frequently traveller and often stop over in Bangkok.
Normally I stay at the Princess hotel, but this time I decided to give Novotel a try.
My travel agent had stuffed up my bookings and had accidentally booked me for the following night instead of the night I arrived.
I explained to situation to Chiang at the front office and also to Pump the front office manager, who were both exceptionally helpful and polite and managed to find me a room and move my booking despite the hotel being full. Both Chaing and Pump are a credit to Novotel! Great job. Keep it up :)

Our stay at Novotel Siam Reap was an anti climax for us, after having travelled for three weeks through Vietnam and Cambodia. We arrived at 2 pm for check in and only one of our two rooms was ready. There were no arrival drinks, as promised in our itinerary. Finally at 5 pm we followed up in the second room and were told it would be ready in 10 minutes. It was only after I asked for compensation that they allowed us use if the premium lounge during our stay. Both rooms reeked if cigarette smoke. They literally smelt like an ashtray. It was so bad, that after leaving and upon opening my suitcase at our next destination I could smell it in my packed clothing. When I complained to the receptionist about this, she smiled and apologised. There was no compensation offered. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend or use this hotel again.

Best hotel ever. Even though its only a 4-stars rated hotel, their housekeeping, room services and staff services are all 5-stars standard. Received a free upgrade during our stay December 2017. Housekeeper did a good job during our stay, cleaned the room thoroughly and they even used some cleaning agent to wipe the mirror so that it wont fog after a hot shower.

Fabulous location coupled with friendly and helpful staff. "V" in the exec lounge is outstanding. Rooms clean food great — have stayed before and will again. Good for business and pleasure. Would highly recommend it.

Good service. Mistakenly booked a room with 2 single beds hence I requested to have a king bed. My wife and I are very happily they acceded to our request. The hotel is beside the BTS which is convenient and is opposite the paragon which has cinema and is good for late night movie. The room was clean and air con was strong with good ventilation. The hot water from the shower was instantaneous unlike the usual type which needs to wait awhile for the cold water to run off. However, the basin was pitted and has heavy signs of wear and tear.

Very lovely deco and comfortable. Great, friendly n helpful staff who are very polite and caring. Very convenient to shopping areas, transport and lots of nice places to enjoy good food. Will definitely stay here again for sure.

The hotel is in a great location, in the heart of the city. Everything in walking distance: Metro, shopping malls, cafes and restaurants, massage parlors, hairdressers, etc.
The hotel itself is on an average level. Nice buffet for dinner. Breakfasts are "sharpened" on Asian client and there is a queue (does not grab tables). The hotel staff is very helpful.

Highly recommended for families and those wanting to be close to major shopping centers. There are at least three within comfortable walking distance from this hotel. It is also surrounded by so many interesting shops, cafes, restaurants, and local eateries to fulfill your wishlist. The hotel room is quite spacious and clean, and their staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Central location to all shopping areas with lots of options for places to eat. The hotel is old and could use major updates but my room was very clean and staff very accomodating esp with construction going on. But this did not bother me as the noise was very minimal and hardly noticeable.

Cosy International hotel in the midst of the metropolitan hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Hotel is located in a district which is accessible for public transport only for a fee, as a guest you can get the card you get at the entrance (of the district) but you have to activate, so that you do not have to pay for the exit.

Booked a triple-bed room but bed was not ready when we entered the room. Asked for the third set of towel and was asked whether we wanted it as complimentary. We paid for the 3rd bed AND towels. 2nd day went back to hotel around 4pm and there were no towels. Hotel did not have enough towels. Duh… The location is good. Many massage at the side. 7-11 downstairs. If not for the lack of housekeeping, would give this hotel 5 stars.

Really good place to stay. The rooms are clean. Currently the room im staying in has a hip minimalist feel to it. The staff is friendly and breakfast has a good range of dishes to choose from. The lobby looks very modern with nice swing chairs that hang from the ceiling and has a bar that seems pricey but I personally have not had the time to check.

This well loved hotel, as of stay, is renovating the lower floors. I stayed at the Executive alounge and it has a new look, chick and very homey with great views of this part of Bangkok. Ease of check in and check out via the Premier Lounge, great food at the Gourmet Bar and love the access to the cocktails, breakfast and refreshments at the Premier Lounge. The new lobby is stunning and modern and designed for business and for the family. This is a highly recommended hotel to stay when in Siam Square.

It was a warm welcome and a comfortable stay at Novotel Siam Square. The complimentary room upgrade to the top floor with city views was the best welcome and we enjoyed our welcome drinks at the cozy bar at midnight. We appreciated the fruits left behind after your colleagues made our room and we had some really good room service, especially because we were hungry at 1 am and nowhere else near was open nor did any delivery service reached us. Breakfast in bed was also a beautiful way to end our stay and made us want to extend our stay there! The chocolates at the lobby bar was also delicious! Will be coming back to try the waffles! Experiencing the gym and the pool, it was decent enough for us to get in a short workout daily before breakfast. Though the gym was not as fully equipped, it was good enough to get in a quick session. Overall the experience was pleasant and we would not mind returning to Novotel.

Nice rooms, great pool and functional gym. Reception and concierge very helpful. Buffet breakfast is not bad. The cleanliness of the rooms and throughout the hotel cannot be faulted. All staff are friendly. Very close to the metro station that takes you to and from the airport.

Location is great, near the BTS and several shopping centres. Rooms are dated but functional. The towels were not very clean which was a little disturbing. The room service lady always had a pleasant smile and greeting. Facilities are decent and some of the hotel staff were absolutely fantastic but some are not so good and the front desk was not as efficient as I'd hoped. The live music on most nights was a pleasant. The dumpling buffet on level two was good too. The massage is good and decent value given the convenience and a promotion at certain times.

My check in experience was effective and fast. I was assisted by one of your Front Desk Agent who was proactive. Yet, I could not remember his name. The same goes for my check out. I believe that you can trace his name by my check in/out time + room number. My flight was early morning and directly doing quick business meeting, he really was a savior for me. Yet, you may want to ensure that this kind of helping culture is enlivened by all front liners. On my checking out date, I booked green taxi. Then I came earlier than my booking time. Asking the service to one of employee in the counter. Yet, the person seemed and gave impression: I am not Bell or Concierge, you just go to them. I got that impression because the person pointed out the desk near the person's working location. I believe this could be improved. I also acknowledged that your hotel was busy and understood that employee could be tired. In Concierge/Bell/Entrance, the smile could be improved more. Some are smiley, friendly and effective. Some are just average. You could monitor from your CCTV re: your staff smiling culture. Breakfast was good, you can see all the main and most wanted breakfast menu served. Having a Fresh juice counter would be good idea to explore. Gym was small and after 2KM in treadmill was too hot, yet swimming pool was relaxing. Love it. Overall, I had a great time, the front desk who helped me in check in and out process were amazing: friendly, warm and effective.

Welcome smiling and efficient. We had a premium room, very nice. The breakfast served at the first instead of the big room was very appreciated, there also very courteous and efficient staff.

Hotel decoration is nice and unique. Room is clean. Very convenience. Near to shopping area and spa. Breakfast is good. Will continue to stay in this hotel for my next trip. Just to highlight, toilet shower area a bit dangerous as they do not provide non slip mat and the glass door is dangerous too.

I am not able to be check in even provide with Hotel Voucher, I booked with C-trip and they could not find the name in their system, even, my voucher shows a correct name. Wait from 2:50 to 3:10. Then I have to change in the gym and rushed for my 3:15 meeting nearby. I came back at 6:30pm, then they finally find my reservation. Room is very old furnished, especially the toilet is quite broken, and no toilet paper in the beginning. Of course, they sent to the room after requested. However, you will surprise even the quality of toilet paper is very bad. This is the one will melt in a second with a drop of water. It was raining in one of the afternoon, I stood next to the door boys for 10 mins, to wait for the rain to stop, they did not offer for borrowing an umbrella.

When my family decided to join me in Bangkok, I looked for a central location and came across Novotel and decided on it from the reviews it has received. It is in the center of Bangkok with easy access (walking) to the best shopping areas and the skytrain. The employees were extremely polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I have experienced. Room service was excellent. We hope to back in Bangkok in two years time and will definitely stay at the Novotel on Siam Square.

This is the hotel I would stay whenever I visit Bangkok. Its nice and great location for the value. The hotel breakfast does not have vegetarian dishes. Even if there is, it will be one or two dishes. There are more and more vegetarians around, it will be good to have a few more dishes. There was a scene I spotted in the cafe located in the lobby. A lady was preparing a cold drink for a group of customers who seemed to be on business discussion. She used a long spoon to taste on the drink and put the spoon back to a jar, after adding ice into the drink, she stirred the drink with the same spoon, without washing it earlier. It was disgusting! The hotel management should look into staff hygiene seriously. I wanted to stop the customer from taking the drink but too late. I have reflected to the front desk manager but not sure if he took any action. I hope something has been done. But I might think twice going back to this hotel. I must give compliment to a staff, TOR, he was very helpful with our checking in and attended to us very well. He is always smiling, its very pleasant to welcome us in such way. Thanks, TOR.

Other than worn mattresses in the room (we had two), our stay at Novotel has been a wonderful experience. Suggest to get this undesirable attribute resolved so that guests do not awake to chiropractic issues. Otherwise, I will gladly rate your hotel an 8 out of 10. So how will you assure me of a better stay the next time?

This place is absolutely amazing! It's right in the center of the nicest malls and the BTS in just around the corner. Everyone at this hotel is extremely friendly. We especially enjoyed meeting Wat, our bartender at the pool. First class service, beautiful hotel, and in a prime part of Bangkok! We'll definitely be back!

This particular building of this well respected hotel chain is looking a little old. The hotel is currently under renovations to update the rooms however both the rooms we stayed in were well below the quality of what we signed up for. On arrival we were told we'd have to sleep in separate beds in a smoking room; the room was pretty bad and stank. When we asked for the room we'd booked, we got it, however the no smoking signs (and sensors) meant nothing as we woke up every day to the smell of filthy pipe smoke coming through our airconditioning. Bathroom facilities were mouldy in both rooms and features no exhaust fan. I accidentally spilled some liquid soap and noticed the slick next to the sink everyday and wondered what house cleaning did besides sheets and towels. For the location and price one can add that at least it is somewhere to sleep. The open air pool is on the 4th floor which is well below the smog level, so is great for the lungs as you can imagine. Buffet breakfast was good, however the chef needs to source better bacon.

Only one night and that was short. Nice room compact but luxury style. Pleasure to be there. Busy hotel in busy convenient location. So we paid the premium.
