Old town is very beautiful!

We were there from 2-4 August, and were very warmly welcomed as a family, the family suit was very pretty and extraordinarily clean.
The following dinner in the Restaunrant was excellent, the service or the service absolutely perfect, we didn't have to wait long and we were always interested to read the wishes from our eyes.
our children were treated absolutely cordially and they received a small gift from waiters
Coming here is absolutely worthwhile.

Adler was a nice hotel in the heart of the city. Walking distance to everything, and multiple places to eat and drink within 100 yards of the hotel. Comfortable rooms, but very small. No A. C. Either, and when we were there the room was hot. They do supply a fan though. USBports in the room, complimentary water and coke. Continental breakfast with juices, coffees, espressos,. Breads, cheeses cold cuts and fruit and yogurt. Eggs and sausages available for an extra charge. Comfortable place.

Hotel is at the great location, couldn't be better for the sightseeing. Breakfast is the only downside, offers really poor choice (ham, some cheese, some cereals, and boiled eggs). There are more than one type of rooms — the one I was in (pictured) had a one-person bed, which was fine as I was alone. Quiet at night, clean, a really ok hotel.

This was one of the loudest hotels I have ever stayed at and when we called the front desk to ask for assistance they offered no solution. Rooms were very small and hard to manoeuvre if you have a lot of luggage. Staff was super rude. There was also no parking at or near the hotel so we had to roll our suitcases for about a 12 minute walk and pay 50CHF a night. I gave it 2 stars because despite the negative it was clean and the bed was comfortable. I also should mention that the restaurant attached to it was delicious and the service was wonderful.

Nice room, friendly professional staff. New bathrooms (small) mini fridge with an assortment of free beverages, safe, pot to boil water (tea and instant coffee) Oh! Also, very nice pillows. Great location and competitive pricing. Here for three days. So far, so good.

I think this is was the best middle point between a rather small and beautiful room I've ever stayed. You feel comfortable, have enough space and you are surrounded by nicely craved wood, wall painting, thick curtains. Breakfast was OK for a 3-star hotel, even if fresh fruit (salad) would be welcome. The unique negative aspect was the mattress, which I found too soft and sinking in the middle. Location is great.

A great hotel located in the historic center of Zürich. Rooms are recently renewed and confortably furnished. The breakfast is great and served in an amazing typically swiss restaurant room. The reception is friendly, smily, very professional and fast. The only negative point : I had the first room on the first floor of the hotel, just above the reception (116 if I'm right). This was actually very noisy and I even woke up in the morning. Overall a great and afordable place for business or leisure trips.

Location was perfect not too far from the train station. The hotel is located in old town near all of the shopping and the river. Their breakfast was free and very good.

Nice small hotel. Best location. Very central yet quiet and relaxing. Comfortable rooms. Friendly service. Good breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel is a popular place to eat local food and try great fondue.

Great staff, breakfast, rooms with super thick windows to block out street noise, and cozy beds. Put it in the midst of old town Zurich and I have officially found a place to station myself out of on my next trip to Switzerland. Not too far from the Bahnhof, either. Loved the location and this stay will definitely not be my last.

Good location and nice Swiss restaurant. Rooms are rather small and not the cleanest I have seen so far. Service is friendly and helpful.

The room was cozy, there was a mini-bar, a safe (which I didn't manage to lock), a hair dryer, a shower gel, a TV, free tea and coffee… I didn't find a way to turn off the ventilation in the bathroom, so the sound stayed on during the night. Also it is unpleasantly hot under the sheets (because of the material they're made of) so I was waking up completely sweaty (even with the heating off). The windows offer a great sound insulation and you can really hear absolutely nothing from the outside but you can still hear the noise from the hallway or the nearby rooms if the other guests are a little more loud. The breakfast was great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall experience: I would definitely come back.

Very nice place for a fondue. Make sure you book in advance as it's always full of tourists and fully booked. The service is nice and friendly too.

Awesome hotel, awesome location and the restaurant downstairs is good too. There are also many other restaurants right down the street from the hotel within walking distance. Downtown is a quick 5-10 minute walk.

Cosy Hotel in the centre of Zürich. The room was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Little things make all the difference! We arrived early on the red eye and the front desk person worked hard to get our room ready even though the hotel was sold out. The free drinks/water was a nice touch and of course the location is fantastic.

I was disgusted by the room, an individual transformed into double, when we had booked in advance.

Great location in Zurich near the Old town. It can get a bit noisy in the area, but the windows kept the sound muffled very well. If you like to be in the scene, it's a very fun place to be. I would recommend the room facing alleyway. Close to the main train station. If you like to snowboard, Flumeserberg is just a quick hour train ride away! Highly recommended.

This hotel is amazing! The hotel's restaurant is just as amazing! The staff is great and helpful for tips for walking the city. Will definitely be staying here when we come back to visit.

Honestly everything's seem very good. However the most unacceptable issue is no AC inside the room, esp in summer! The room inside only has fan and I feel like I am back to 70s. I don't think any 3 star hotel in the world could allow such to happen! Totally disappointed though bed is clean, food is great.

Great staff. Clean, well appointed room. No air conditioning though, so it got a bit hot in the room as the fan could only work so hard and the windows had to be closed during the night due to the noise from the restaurants and bars. Overall it was a great stay and we would certainly return.

Location is fantastic close to most places, hotel itself was very comfortable, clean and functional, staff were friendly and attentive, breakfast was good and the Chuchi restaurant a place I also recommend.

We got a great welcome and were very pleased throughout our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the shower very powerful, and the room had everything we needed. The toilet is right next to the glass door into the main bedroom. The glass in this door is only partially frosted, meaning you have very little privacy on the toilet if you're sharing the room with someone else. There is no air conditioning, but the fans they've provided do a good job of keeping you cool enough for a good night's sleep. I would stay here again.

Best place in old town to enjoy Swiss delicacies including cheese fondue. Staff was warm and friendly and made sure we enjoyed the meal to the fullest.
Lovely lovely place to eat out. Go with advance booking as the place is in demand and waiting time for us was half an hour plus. Yet we were accommodated and the wait was worth every second.

Met my family's expectation with this wonderful stay. Convenient location, had our rooms ready earlier than expected and lovely service overall. But with 34 deg C in the heat summer, I was expecting air-conditioning in the room but there was none. Not a comfortable experience if you are here in summer.

Complimentary drinks (two water, one coke) in room refrigerator included makes a weary traveler welcome and one less thing to do. Great location. Very busy and loud with people having fun and laughing. Windows shut and the noise outside stays outside like and on off switch. Lots of food very close.

I only stayed for one night but the hotel is charming. The bed was comfortable, a nice wood interior fitting of Zurich and a little fan to give a breeze from the summer heat. The location was perfect for a stroll through the beautiful streets and alleys or even down to the river. And only a short walk from the train station. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is situated inside the old town centre. Very convenient, no matter you go for dinner, refreshing walk along river Limmat, bleeding for shopping or train station to your next stop.
Reception is very nice and hospital.
Restaurant serve wonderful foudue and special coffee
Price is reasonable considering above factors

Great little hotel. Room was minimal and clean. Friendly staff. There was some construction outside, though, and the windows are not super thick.

Competitive pricing, great service, along with nice and clean rooms. Definitely will visit again when I'm in Zurich.

Good service, comfortable, good location. Nice size, so there isn't usually a wait even on busy nights. Fondue is what most people get here.

This hotel is centrally located near the tram stop which you can take from Zurich HB which is the Main Station in Zurich. U can see the Hotel once u enter the lane and the Restaurant is famous for the Swiss Fondue and it gets packed in the evening even with locals. Front desk are very friendly, making you feel at home and efficient in the checkin process. Rooms are pretty with paintings in Swiss style. Wifi is good too. Free drinks at the minibars which you can drink upon entering the room. Clean room and good toiletries from UK. Didn't get the chance to try out the breakfast but overall experience is brilliant! Nothing much to complain about. View is back street lane of the Old Town with lots of shops nearby to do last min shopping and good restaurants to grab a bite. Would be back to stay on my next trip to Zurich! Great hotel with 5 stars service at reasonable rates.

Great place to bring your friends to a "swiss" experience. Always fun, and food is good. Obviously fondue, raclette of all types and some stuff for non-cheesers like bratwurst with onion sauce.

Thank you for an excellent one-night stay right in the center of Zurich, minutes away from the train station, shopping area, plenty of restaurants and bars, and many other nice places to visit. The hotel is tastefully renovated and really remarkably comfortable for "only" a three-star property. The staff was friendly and efficient, the breakfast very good and plentiful. One small opportunity for improvement: the pillow is quite flat and there was only one. A nice and unexpected touch: complimentary (non-alcoholic) minibar. Fantastic value for money compared to other hôtels in the area.

I have stayed at the Adler over 20 times. It is perfectly and centrally located. The staff are polite and helpful. Rooms are spotless with fast free Wi-Fi and free soft-drinks. The fondue resturant downstairs is exceptional and the breakfast buffet (included in your room price) is hearty. The streets outside can be noisy (but very safe) at night but the double glazing in the hotel excludes noise. The Adler is a hit in terms of location, standards and price.

Very nice and quiet hotel in the old center of Zürich. Very informative and correct staff and good breakfast. The room might be a bit warm if the outside temperature goes up but was just OK for me as it wasn't that warm outside during my stay. I wouldn't hesitate to come back.

The hotel is decorated with paintings on the walls and has a specific "art" feeling. The service is always at high level, breakfast is also very good. The location is excellent and gives access to both city's sights and to shopping areas. The hotel's restaurant is well-known and is famous with it's specialty — Swiss fondue.
