Almost acceptable standard in general but should be much better for the relative high price. The staff was very unfriendly and unwilling to help when we needed to switch rooms for one of our employees. First room offered wasn't cleaned properly. Small breakfast. Very good and free (evening) parking outside. Recommend staying somewhere else.

No air conditioning and when asked for a extra fan they refused had to argue to get another fan. The bathroom had a leak. Definitely not worth the price.

Something basic, not quite as cheap, but still OK. Would go again.

Worst hotel ive ever encountered. Hotel staff is so rude. Theyre so selfish even with the complimentary candies at. The lobby. Room and comfort room so filthy. Not recommended.

At first view it was the hotel with average rating but after our stay I can rate it only as very low level. I see first time hotel that will charge you extra for breakfast even if you paid for it with room reservation. Explanation was that I left on table two piece of bread and not finished salad. They crazy as I ask what you do with foods I not take from kitchen table, of course in garbage, very illogical rules. Especially I note the disgusting work of managers who demanded payment up to threats to calling the police. The hotel itself is very mediocre and expensive. All floors has small steps to enter the room. In the room itself, the flooring is very rough and uneven. Only two beds was fine but in our family room other two beds were uncomfortable since they are sofas. Also, a step to go into the bath, where again the flooring rough and curved. The elevator is small and often stops in the middle of the floors. There is a separate entrance for a disabled wheelchair, but to open the door, the manager pushes the door at all strength and with legs. The only positive is the location.

Good price and friendly staff. Basic bedroom, perfect for a stop over. Breakfast could have had a few options. But otherwise a nice little hotel in a good location. 10 mins walk from HB.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… I always stay at Basilea, when I go to Zürich. It is located in the middle of the city, it is always clean and the stuff is very friendly.

Modern hotel comfortable, price is good.

The only good thing about it is its proximity to Zurich main station. Outdated lift/elevator, awful rooms (I stayed in 310, which they claim 'family room' for 4 persons… there was not even a wall-mounted hook to hang my jacket), unimpressive breakfast, awful coffee in the breakfast, no room service (I had to go myself to collect a pair of pillows) and yet a very very high rent! There are better hotels in the same street.

A good place x fast stays type weekend, ideal x work, close to the station and trams.

The hotel is very convenient-right in the center of the city. The Central train station is 5-7 minutes ' walk away, and there are many cafés and restaurants near the hotel. In terms of comfortable everything is quite mediocre: the room is furnished to a minimum (bed, table, chair, Plasma TV, safe), no closet, kettle, mini-bar, comfortable chair. Slippers are not provided. Breakfast is included in the price but is very poorly filled: sausage and cheese of one kind, cereals, bread, croissants, apples and tea, coffee, milk. At the same price for the night budget can not be called.

I always stay at Basilea, when I go to Zürich. It is located in the middle of the city, it is always clean and the stuff is very friendly.

Ridiculous room €180 for that is the flight to flee.

Cozy. Clean. Very well located. Small room but with everything needed workimg. Nice and complete buffet breakfast.

Three stars? Just 2 and still. Breakfast very poor and low quality. Good point the hotel is very quiet.

Great hotel for a night close to the station.

Hotel staff was nice. Breakfast was meager, the bathroom in the room was very stinky and mouldy! Not acceptable. Consider installing bathroom fans and upgrading to tile flooring. Not sure what the current material is but it is a bit absorbent and seems to trap smells. Very noisy as well, could hear everything from the hallway and adjacent rooms all night. Not a good sleep. Bad mattress.

This hotel is located on a narrow street. Hotel is average. Just used it for sleeping purposes. There is no variety in breakfast. It's always going to be the same. Staff was very and nice and helpful.

A nice hotel in the middle of Zurich with decent rooms at (for the area) decent rates. There are some things to know in that the rooms do not have air conditioning and the floor of our room was somewhat dirty. Having stayed there I would probably not go back.

Rooms were neat, clean, and well stocked with the usual supplies. The included breakfast consisted of a nice selection of pastries and several spreads (cheese, butter, jams, hazelnut, etc), some meats, orange juice, coffe/espresso/tea, cereal, and yogurt. Staff was friendly and the receptionist spoke conversational english.

Great location, close to the train station, shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Though rooms are basic and without air-conditioning they are clean and comfortable.

The rooms are tiny, it's more of a maid's room! If not it's pretty quiet.

Our room had stained floors, stained bed sheets and active mold growth in the shower. We asked for another room but was told the only rooms available would be on the smoking floor. If I were to return to Zurich I would pay the fifty to a hundred dollars more a night and stay in a better hotel.

Hearts hotels everywhere can feel the intentions of their expenditure, Switzerland had the free apples to eat each day at the front desk there is a brochure on the bedside table angle for each step are lovingly furnished and close to the railway station by the Lake like a hotel unique is that we can just go out at night in the streets of an *** see Miss Street station.

Very good location, near the station. Small but comfortable rooms. Very clean and correct throughout. Don't miss the chocolate for breakfast which is spectacular!

Room is very small, comparing with the price! Not so good.

Its a little expensive, in comparing the price with service and facilietes for example no air condition and the breakfast has limited choices. However the staff is very freindly and nice, the location is superb.
