Nothing went as expected during our whole stay. First, I had to make 10 or more calls to get things delivered. Second, even after ten calls (equivalent to 1 hour or more), I didn't get what I wanted. For example, I was in need of a bathrobe, exactly around 2 pm I called to ask for a bathrobe. At 3 pm I again had to call them since they didn't even care to revert back with an update. And I came to know that they don't have bathrobes, I said it was mentioned so in the voucher. They again bought some more time and said they will revert back. Again after 40 minutes, I had to call them since they were sleeping. Now their excuse said, no sir we provide bathrobes only for presidential suites (and they don't have one). I asked for their email id and forwarded my hotel voucher. So finally, after 3 hours since my first call, I got a white bedsheet karate gi. Yes, it was a KARATE GI and I am not kidding. I was like ok, chuck it. In the evening, around 8, I asked for 2 wine glasses and 6 whiskey glasses (had booked three rooms for six of us), to my surprise they said they have it and they will send them. Again, their worst service legacy started. I had to call them at 8:30 pm back to enquiry about the glasses and asked for some more time. At, 9:30 I called them, so now apparently they don't have wine glasses. I was like alright, skip wine glasses and send whiskey glasses. Now guess what, I again had to call them at 10 pm to remind them of their work. Guess what?

Good place to hold events. Quite reasonable & value for money. Food is also better than most other hotels in that category.

Brilliant location for my early morning run in Cubbon Park, well appointed rooms and great food!

The hotel is very old and when we enter the room the smell is very bad. The furniture is very old and the Curtains are very dirty.

This place sucks over sell the Holi event a complete caos and very unsafe for everyone.

Fantastic location with great potential but the property is very old and dilapidated. There are some floors which are new and renovated (largely for fixed foreign — mostly Japanese clients) and those feel premium. Overall, this was (maybe at some point in time in the past) a premium hotel.

We had been to Chancery for a get together lunch with friends. I must admit, it's good place and enhanced service wouldn't look good. We went to buffet hall along with occupied the lounge space for a cozy chat and we had great time. As a visitor, when I summarise 1. We were not informed about the drink included in buffet. It was informed after sometime, like when we started with snacks. 2. Vegetarian options were limited I felt. 3. Coming to the point of taste, it has lot of scopes to improve.

Our visit at The Chancery was short, yet enjoyable. Location of the hotel was in the heart of the city which made it easier for us to travel. The rooms were quite small but good. The service provided was pretty decent. Overall I liked my stay, and would recommend it in future!

The place is good in terms of quality and services. Very friendly staff. I had gone for a corporate event which had dinner buffet, the options and cuisines for the buffet was fantastic for the price, but the only negative side was the late refills, although it was a buffet the refill for many items listed was taking a long time. Apart from this, the place is good.

Hotel restaurant; Ithaca staff are amazing, they really went out of their way to make us feel at home, Ashish, Neha, Rohit, Mohit, Sathya, Shalini and chef Afroze are the warmest and friendliest staff ever. Madhu is also very helpful. Thank you guys for accommodating my family and putting a very special birthday party together for my baby. Much appreciated. The only complaint was that the overall cleanliness of the hotel needs improvement. Hotel is very centrally located, shopping and dining areas are a short walk away.

Location is really prime, you have social and clubs at a walking distance for all party animals… Also the staff is amazing… Their rooms are really hi tech overall it was amazing experience.

The overall experience was not up to the mark considering the name of hotel. Food was good but the billing was an issue. The room was ok as the mini bar was not stocked, linen wasn't clean it had a sting which I was not comfortable. Check out also was not quick inspite of providing the required details it took nearly 45 mins. I would say a Big NO.

The Chancery Hotel is a a very good stay, first class with good rooms and breakfast is really nice. Dinner at the resturant is also very good. I recommend staying here if you are in bengaluru.

Great place to stay for business travellers. Construction and furniture style is old. But room was spacious and comfortable. Food price is reasonable. You can have good dinner in 400 ala carte and 600 very good buffet. Next to MG road so location is excellent.

Very rude staff… Receptionists especially… We called ahead and told them that we wanted a room and they said to come over since rooms were available. So we went there after we reached, all tired only to find that they do not give rooms to people who walk in. We needed to book online. They never informed us of this or we would have done it just after we called. Instead of apologizing, the receptionists were trying to justify themselves by putting the blame on us. It was very unprofessional of them. I don't think I'll ever stay there when I visit Bangalore.

A very nice hotel with all the facilities needed for a good stay. Foods in the hotel was very nice. Comfortable rooms with good views. Have halls to keep conferences and meetings. Overall very nice stay experience.

This hotel is managed by Toyota Group, a Japanese company, and so it attracts many Japanese visitors. Matsuri is a great Japanese restaurant and you can also enjoy a nice bath as well. Highly recommend.

One of the great corporate hotels in Bangalore. The fine atmosphere makes it a quite a choice of corporate travellers. The hotel takes special care on the Japanese customers, including all the information available in Japanese language, Japanese cuisine complimentary breakfast, Japanese style public bath and Spa. The bathrooms are little old style which doesn't match with room ambiance, it may need renovation. The professional staffs, service and hospitality makes it a better choice to stay here. There are always some offers introduced for corporate traveller, like both breakfast and dinner are provided as complimentary at reasonable price, check with them before booking.   The food tastes wonderful!

Nice place. Please don't get confused with the other Chancery. This is a smaller and cheaper one. :-P.

High end but less maintained. I saw mouse running around couple of times and toilets are ancient type. Halls and rooms are good though. Food is above average but not up to standards of high end hotels.

Nice place n nice food… N they have weekend midnight buffet, I think for 600rs. Heard Dt it's great. We must give it a try… welcome drink starter n main course everything was good.

Good business hotel for conference or training. Strategically located ample parking and friendly service. Clean and good ambience. Food is average. Near to happening place like MG road and Brigade road.

One of the best stay. Very humble staff and comfortable environment. Took care of each and every requirement perfectly.

Is situated near the MG road. Has a prime location in the city. Nice rooms and decently priced. Food is great as well. Hotel space is little limited though as it's in a crowded place. Roads are wide near this place albeit crowded. Walking space available on the footpath.

I was actually at the Matsuri restaurant at this hotel and the food is great. The ambience of the interiors takes me back to the time I was in Kyoto. Lovely place to enjoy Japanese food, loved it.

Worst place. Foam party was all fake! Worst organizers I have ever seen. They took money from us and didn't get us inside. No one was able to handle the crowd. Organizers were very rude. Such a dirty place. People were just asking money everywhere. Don't get into this trap. Parking area is so bad. Worst experience.

Staff is really disappointing & discriminating. Time to check-in was too high even though we were the only one checking in. They couldn't find booking details of my colleague. Check-out time was again too high, and we had to wait for nearly 20 min. Again they were not able to trace the payment details of my colleague. Even though rooms were available in the hotel, we were being asked to moved to another hotel since the available rooms are the one's specially designed for the Japanese. Japanese rooms were good but I'm pretty sure rooms for Indians must be bad.

Nice ambience and fantastic food. The rates are resealable. Kids friendly and polite waiters.

Very elegant and beautiful place. Located in peaceful area just at the end of MG Road. Attended a meeting for Thalassemia Society Bangalore. The Chancery management did not charge for the rent of meeting hall and lunch attended by 150 guests. That is great and heartful thanks to the owner who came in addressed us from a few minutes.

Good place, fairly good food too… Mid night buffet an attraction… Breakfast was good too… Think morning breakfast makes sense.

The location is just perfect at the heart of the city. The service is brilliant. And the rooms is amazing too.

The Chancery is a nice quiet hotel with some great food. The hotel has a Japanese connection and a tie up with Toyota. It is in the heart of the city with MG road, Cubbon Park and Brigade road a stone's throwaway. Take a walk at Cubbon Park in the evening. Take a ride in the metro. Bridge road, the most happening place in Bangalore is right next to the Chancery. The food is really worth mentioning with the buffet offering not just a few but a whole spread of choices. There were at least 5 juices to choose from at every meal. The sweet spread is mouth watering. Japanese food is also accommodated. And don't miss having a Maghai Pan at Chancery pan wallah shop. The TV and channels are fine, but I wish they had a smart TV with YouTube. The spa is open till 11 pm at night, and seem to offer some discounts at times.

Been there for more than 6+ times and the services does not change at all. There buffet is awesome — I always love the sweet section… so many variety. The Conference hall are very comfortable for having more than 50+ people in there. Love to visit whenever possible.

Great hospitality & extended their support when I needed the most when I caught up an illness. No extra charge added to my bill as I genuinely had to overstay for 6 hours to take rest and catch my late evening flight. Room service food was served which was per my customised requirement and even there the basic fruits and milk needed for a patient was not charged. Ambience is good (those who like wooden stylish old but gold architecture). Pretty close to MG road, great engineer Sir, Vishweshwaraiya Museum, metro station. The only thing I would need correction is Visiting doctor fees and travel desk fees to pick a cab to airport. Should be reasonable or atleast close it it. Also a little more attention to South Parade cafe that serves South Indian breakfast. Overall a beautiful 4 day experience. Would love to travel and avail the services again and again.

Have had an opportunity to attends many conferences here. Good for a conference, they have several rooms and mostly available. Food is also quite good. Centrally located also.

Stayed for couple of nights last year in May June 2016 on an official visit. The room allotted was small compared to the price they charged. But food was quite good and even at 1:30 AM we get hot and delectable varieties of quisine. Room service is not that prompt and lacks professionalism. Location wise it's one of the best in the heart of the city.

Like the hotel, enjoy the atmosphere and it's always a pleasant experience. Staff are always polite and helpful. Second time I've stayed here and I'd have no worries or concerns on staying again. No film stars launching their movies during this visit. Yet…

Disappointing. Misguiding. They call their standard rooms "Deluxe" and misrepresent what rooms they have. Their "deluxe" rooms have nothing deluxe about them. The one I saw had a bathtub so yellowy that I would put my child into it. The bathroom and the room itself was like a "motel" room. DO NOT WASTE your money here. The Chancery Pavillion "might" be better if they also don't mislead customers. This hotel calls itself a 4-Star hotel but it is more like a 3-Star hotel. They have HD TVs in the rooms but analog signal on the cable so you'll watch pixelated image on the TV. I'm not to optimistic about our stay here based on how it's begun. Too bad! Their website promises a lot. But doesn't match up to reality.

I'm rating them low because they couldn't provide a sanitary pad when asked. I think hotels must be equipped to do such a basic favour at least.

It's located in the heart of city If you come out from the hotel you can see M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in the left This hotel is more preferred by Japanese. You can get Japanese cuisine here also all documents and menu cards you can find in Japanese language. Rooms are good. Worth the price.

Dont know about the stay. But the hotel is really posh. Very neatly maintained. Staff is very nice. But the food was ok.

Went to SOuth Parade. For mid night buffet sorry to say not a worth place, wont visit again. Nor will suggest if u r a fuddy no hospitality. Which made it worst.
