Very nice hotel, super breakfast, very nice lady at the reception… also the organizing of taxis here no problem, unfortunately the gentleman is a bit grumpy at breakfast, which I find very unfortunate, because the overall impression is very good.
The rooms were placed next to each other as desired. Thank you very much for that.

Arrived at the hotel after a 5hr train ride, exhausted, hungry and frustrated! We were greeted by a very engaging and friendly desk clerk, who on checking our info, informed us that we were upgraded to a suite with no extra charge, also explaining interesting things to do in Amsterdam. Her engaging and friendly personality surely made comfortable and welcomed. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends in the USA.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Manor Amsterdam last week. It's a very nice, modern hotel, in an excellent, quiet location, only 5min from the city center. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful.
Oh and as a friendly warning: if you like to get your free Holland shoe key-chain from the glass jar in the lobby close to the reception area, don't attempt to get it yourself, just ask the receptionist for it. Apparently there's an invisible line there and they're not happy if you cross it ;)
I will be definitely staying at the Manor Amsterdam again, and highly recommend it!

I would definitely recommend! Lovely hotel and rooms, 5 mins away from the centre of Amsterdam and very helpful friendly staff.

First class. Professuonal staff. Super clean & comfortable rooms. Be aware if you need to be in city it is a good 25 min walk or cycle. But a good base if you want a quality & value stay.

No-nonsense decent, clean hotel with nice shower. We asked to have a quiet room, and indeed got a very nice, quiet room. Roomservice was surprisingly cheap (as in, normally priced)! I can strongly recommend it for business trips or if you simply want a good place to sleep. For romantic getaways it may be a bit clinical.

Wonderful hotel in a hip part of town. The breakfasts were delicious and everything you need (supermarket, shops, a park to run in) is right outside the door. Wonderful front staff and lovely restaurant staff as well!

Nice atmospheric hotel in a historic building, but inside everything is new. Breakfast is 15e, but hot — only around scrambled eggs. The helpful, though not always competent, staff. A kettle and a coffee machine, a refrigerator in the room. There are a lot of cafes, shops, bakeries, budget department stores HEMA and C-A. Soft bed, different pillows. Surprisingly cozy quiet patio with Cupids. NB: To the station 4-5km! — I advise you to buy a common transport card at once: it will pay off in the first days; The kiosk at the station is open even on Sunday. And then the whole city is yours, regardless of fatigue.

Great location — outside the center but good tram to get near, parking lot quite near (a bit South). The receptionist went out of his way to help us talk with rental companies. Rooms are very comfortable.

Location, service and the hotel are all super. It's about 10 minutes from Central Amsterdam. The staff are very kind and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and modern with the room decor yet aged with the wooden ceilings. They also showcase the Amsterdam "x" symbol throughout the whole hotel which I think to be a lovely touch. 100% would recommend this to anyone looking into it.

In the hotel, taken care of in design. The room was large with two bathrooms, but both very uncomfortable, not communicating and no window: one with WC and the other with shower and bathtub. Good cleaning. Near the tram stop.

Very nice hotel, not exactly located in the center but in front of the tram and just a few minutes walking to the center. The rooms are very confortable and friendly staff.

It's an elegant place, everything is clean and the personal is very kind and available. The restaurant in it is very tasteful and good too. Although it's not close to the city centre, the stop for getting tram 9 is very close, and in a very short time you'll get to the centre. Just a couple of streets from this hotel there are nice pubs and places to get authentic Dutch food.

I have spent in this hotel three days. It is just out of the center but not far a way from it and it's near wonderful parks and water channel that make it really nice to walk to the center. It has the tram just out of the gate so it's very easy to get there. The hotel it self is really nice. Very clean and big rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast is pretty good and the people working her are very nice and very professional. You have a nice italian restaurant and enoteca there too. I love the small garden that they have on the back perfect for who need to smoke or just to relax outside. Adham.

The location is very good. Absolutely everything is within walking distance.
Also the train and bus station is right in front of the hotel.
Unfortunately a long wait when checking in as our booking was not registered. But there was a beverage voucher for the restaurant from the Nice staff.
The rooms are visually beautiful and the bathroom is also pleasantly large. The location of the room was out to the park, so very quiet.
Deduction there for the many dust in the room, this room had been cleaned for more than a day.
The other is the breakfast. I have seen this so much better in Amsterdam. It was a very unlovingly oriented buffet and the selection was very boring.
The individual order of the eggs takes forever, despite fewer people, if it is not forgotten.
Prefer not to offer breakfast like just a little half-hearted.
Despite everything a hotel that you can recommend to anyone.

Great size rooms and lots of space for storage and desk area. Bed was super comfy and huge! Loved the available TV channels. Only thing was it was pretty noisy facing onto the main street and the restaurant was terrible for vegan availability. Got free drinks for my partners birthday too.

The manor keeps what it promises. Very nice rooms, excellent service and as a starting point for all sightseeing points best suited.

I stayed there 3 nights expensive and "high end" Hotel.
Room with carpet, lots of dust.
Bed catastrophic, outrageous for an establishment being said high-end, staff not friendly, especially the women of households.
I advise strongly.

Luxurious hotel. Nice reception of the receptionists, they adapted well to our language. No complaints about the room, it was niquel. The breakfast was really nice and good.

We stayed there for 4 nights. The hotel itself is beautiful, the hallways are little strange but its funny. Staff is polite and food is good. The only complain I have is cleanliness of our room. It was very dusty and housekeeper was coming in strange hours. One day we come back at hotel at 14. And she was just about to clean the room since we were there, she didn't The next day we where away until 19h when we come back the room still wasn't clean. We even run out of toilet paper It was very strange for 4* hotel. I was expecting more. The location is good so if I ever will come back there it will be for its location and definitely not for hotel itself.

A bell hotel, located at a fairly central point in Amsterdam and close to the centre, which you can reach by bike rental in the hotel itself. The room is very good.

Very bad hotel. Absolutely no 4 stars worthy. Unfriendly and demotivated staff in all areas. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. We were given dirty cups on the shelf. The reception ladies are very snippy to German guests and rousted us the room tickets without explanations to the hotel. The price for parking 27 euros is a pure rip off. The breakfast buffet is also very modest for a 4 star hotel. Typical Dutch things like Chocomel are not found there.
So do not book!

It was a very clean and nice hotel. A little quirky, but I like that. Be aware that they don't provide bar soap, only body gel. Overall, I would stay here again for a business trip, however if you want to be somewhere closer to old Amsterdam for tourism, you may want to choose a different place.

Very nice hotel, service to the top of the smiling people. Breakfast very good but can of choice. Clean room Ideal just small problem the beds are two beds of one person and not a large.

Modern furnished, very smart and very clean hotel. We were there for 5 nights as a family break. All the staff we experienced were friendly, spoke excellent English and were quick to attend to you. Nothing seems to much trouble. The hotel is on a main road but set back enough not to be bother by any traffic noise — we certainly didn't hear any. There are tram stations 1 minute walk from hotel entrance and the ride into the city takes less than 15 mins. Trams run early to late so no problems with staying out late. Being out of the city centre you benefit from quieter surroundings and cheaper room rates. There is a convenience store opposite and an excellent cafe (Cafe Milo) right night door. Highly recommended hotel!

Rooms were fine, but for a 4 star hotel in a somewhat "broken" state.
Breakfast was good, but unfortunately the choice was very limited. I have seen more at many 2 star hotels.
It's nice to bother making the own dishes fresh. However, you wait about 25 minutes for your egg.

The hotel staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions giving us thorough advice. The room was very cute and boutique like. I really appreciated that the room was equipped with a cellular phone that we were able to use to make international calls, use internet and take out as a travel guide. The tram and train station are very close to the hotel as well as a park. There is a market, many stores and restaurants within walking distance. The library was across the street. East Amsterdam was very peaceful and beautiful to experience and our hotel was in the perfect location. Would stay here again. Dinning at Enoteca was nice too. The breakfast buffet was stocked with salmon, breads, fruit, juices, cereal, teas and coffee. I enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel itself was very nice with tall ceilings, clean hallways, and nice reception staff. The room was also clean and the housekeeping staff did a great job of cleaning it every day. The room also had good amenities and left nothing to be expected. It was a great stay, would definitely stay again. It's also close to the tram stop and has bikes available if you want. The restaurant and bar here are also very nice.

What a truly lovely boutique hotel. This was my first visit to Amsterdam and the hotel being 10 mins out of the city centre was truly perfect
The number 9 tram or the 757 bus stops near the hotel. And they run frequently
The staff are really helpful and the rooms are immaculate
There are no complimentary toiletries but this is a very small blip
This hotel is a gorgeous place too stay in a lovely bohemian district.

The rooms and decor are very nice. The hotel was very clean. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. I had a wonderful stay.

Our room was very nice. The food in the restaurant was very good. The tram runs in front of the hotel with a short ride to downtown available. One and two day passes can be purchased. You can walk to downtown in about 45 minutes of gentle walking.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Rooms were immaculate. The bed was the most comfortable thing I've ever slept in and the black out curtains were so good that we slept in both mornings we stayed and I've not done that in years! The breakfast was also delicious and couldn't recommend it any more highly! Staff were very helpful too.

I spent 7 nights here… comfortable room. Good services. And easy check in and out. However, Not much facilities are available in the hotel.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, functional. On the other hand, the big downside is the noise of the street. And even the double glazing does too little. So a tip, choose a room that looks the other way. And then there, it's 5 stars insured!

Excellent Staff. Rooms are clean and nice. Ram stop is infront of the Hotel so you move into the city easily. The rooms are quite small but great if you stay with your couple. Parking had an extra cost of (25 euros per day) if you bring yuor car.

This hotel is fabulous, check in/out very easy, staff are very friendly and professional. The hotel itself is very clean, very comfy beds, bathroom is clean with a great shower, bring your own toiletries and a kettle is provided. It was my birthday and we were upgraded to a room with a balcony and I had balloons and a personal message with a voucher for free drinks. Hotel is easy to get to from Central station No 9. There are cafes and coffee shops nearby. Will stay here again on my next visit.

The location is excellent and the hotel is very clean. Near Park, Zoo. The disadvantages are the cold stone floor in the shower. Take your slippers with you.

Bad experiences from the start:
We arrived earlier than 3 p. M, the official check in time. Nearly every time we go to a Hotel the room is ready. But here, the room was not ready, so we waited, but even after 3p. M. Check-in time the room was not ready!
When we got the room there were spiderwebs in the corner above the window!
The room on the 1st floor was also quite noisy.
We could hear everything from stomping neighbours above us to the cleaning stuff early in the morning.
The breakfast was the next disappointment. As I am a vegetarian and also allergic to Gluten and Histamin as I told in advance there was nearly nothing.
On the first morning breakfast I got only two Slices of glutenfree bread, (they told me, sorry, they have not got more) no goats cheese (only two different kinds of cheese at the breakfast buffet and The Netherlands are famous for their cheese), they did not have any herbal Tea. As I do not drink Black or fruit Tea I got an extra minth tea but they wanted to charge extra for it!
After I complained at the reception they promised me a better breakfast. I got four Slices of Gluten free bread and Mint tea! Only after asking a few times I got a goats cheese.
And at the breakfast every time something was not there and we had to ask for it, from egg holders to Cups or hot chocolate.
At least most of the Staff tried to be helpful.
Tomorrow's our last night and I will be happy to be back home.

It was posh and we'll decorated rooms. Slept well and bathroom was well set out. Bbc channels on the telly. Very easy to reach via tram 9. Would definitely stay here again with superbre as.

We had a wonderful stay, great price, room, location and food. I got a flu on my birthday and staff invited me into the bar for a free drink. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. Great thai food close by and a decent coffee shop.

Hotel modern, clean and very comfortable. Receptionist extremely helpful and professional. She gave us an upgrade to a suite, as it was our anniversary, On the day we were left a lovely surprise in our room, of Bubbly and chocolates, which we thought was very very thoughtful. The Concieage was very informative and helpful too Overall a very pleasant peaceful stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel. 1st Class and good value.

Good location — tram in front of the door, however, it is in the room quite noisy due to the traffic. Rooms are nicely furnished and the bathroom is new. Coffee maker in the room.

Nice Hotel, clean, nice staff. The furniture is comfortable. Frühstücksbufette however, small and warm temperatures are the products. Even if it later comes up a lot is empty and is only on demand refilled.

We had 3 nights there. Unfortunately, we had a room at the main road out. This is not to be recommended. Sleeping is possible only with closed Windows. Only a small jet of water comes out of the shower of the shower. For then the point deduction. Mattresses too soft. Already many have written that

Tram passing in front of the House to get 7, 80 EUR, with a 24 hour ticket conveniently through the city.
Car parking is cheap in these underground car park: cheapparkingamsterdam.
Take 20 min by foot or tram.

Unfriendly, breakfast isn't really breakfast, they charge far too much and rooms are old and sheets were dirty.

A very nice hotel interesting design well positioned. At that price level we should expect to have agym in the hotel.

A few note and direction signs may not cause harm, we landed three times in an another stairway. Elevators are not always in a short distance from the room, partly lie in between levels. Mattresses are soft, but still acceptable. Beds in the double rooms parking at Hotel 27, €50 / d, put together, with great visitors crack (you can forget cuddling, beds slide apart) car keys must be returned. May be that the car will be driven away by the staff. Not so easy if you ask then where the vehicle is German Yes not spoken. This English so fast that one with his knowledge at its borders comes in. Breakfast is good, but 17, €50. Parking outside by the way costs €4 / h, 24 00 am — 9 00 watch free. In the Centre, you're with the tram no. 9, or in 30 min on foot. Very important: There are no acceptable restaurant in the district. Conclusion: Hotel is to recommend, for 1-2 nights very well. However you must add parking fees to the room rate.

In terms of equipment and setting up a very good Hotel. Modern furniture, spacious bathroom, bright rooms. Scotch selection in the Bar is limited to what a real Scotch drinker is looking for. Breakfast is also served from the card as possible so that you for a coffee, fruit salad and yoghurt, cereals plus O juice only 6 euros and 15 euros for a Buffet that you don't eat. In the Hotels In Europe for € 80 one of the better Hotels. Highly recommended.

I stayed Nov 19-26, 2011 and had a great time! Very convenient to 3 tram lines and centrally located. The room was very nice and the staff could not have been more helpful. I will stay there again on my next visit to Amsterdam for sure.

Very nice hotel, we found problem in the room, we can't close window, so they try to fix it ASAP. They don't fix the window so we get room change and room upgrate. Very near to center with 9 tram just 10 min. Tram evry 10 min.

A Top Location. Tram Station in front of the door. Hotel: top. Newfangled elegant. A renovated hospital. Really cool. BREAKFAST: Seeeeeeehr tasty and lots of choice.
