A professional team, eager to help and to listen. Hygiene impeccable (and I'm picky about it). Situation of the hotel is nice, close to the metro Bastille and its lively streets in the evening to eat and a drink. The seating area is super nice to relax in after a day of shopping. Rooms in the original decor. A great place to stay in Paris!

Wonderful hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in guiding us on things to do, especially places off the beaten path. Each room has its own theme, which is interesting. The rooms are small, so keep that in mind before booking.

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and the location is excellent. My only minor complaint it the tub/shower is a little akward but manageable. The room we have is lovely the hotel has AC and an elevator and the staff are all very courteous and helpful.

Loved this hotel. Room was huge for Paris. Beautifully decorated. The staff were very helpful and polite. Located just steps from the Bastille metro. It's a really nice neighborhood to stay in. Not too swarmed by overpriced tourist attractions.

Very good hotel, conveniently located close to the Bastille subway mouth. The staff are very nice and give advice (restaurants, activities, …).
The rooms are small but very functional and the decorations are neat. There is a spa available.

Lovely boutique hôtel located a few steps away from Bastille metro station. Very friendly and helpful staff, room was normal size for Paris but stylish and very comfortable. Morning breakfast was included in my rate and was a hearty combination of continental, meats, and eggs.

Me like the Hotel very good, good location-if you get a room at the very top if you look to the Bastille direction, and I could see the gold-plated tip! cool-the rooms are super small but cool, the Breakfast is really simple but OK-who wants a huge Buffet is not a book but it has like charm for me, it was already 2 times there.

The check-in was seamless and very professional. Love the individual themed rooms. The rooms are spotless, although small much like the rest of Paris, excellent shower. Excellent location for metro, Les Marais and Bastille.

The location is good for bars and getting around. Nearest Metro is the Bastille. It is situated near the Bastille, Oberkampf and Marais areas. Rooms are not to everyone's taste and are smallish as are most hotel rooms in Paris. The style of the rooms whilst ok are going to need a makeover soon as getting a little dated. Staff are friendly, helpful and efficient.

The hotel is close to bastille, which is a pretty good location. Its very close to the subway. The hotel staff was friendly. They had said that they would provide us with museum passes, but later said they couldn't. No worry, we got it at one of the information centers. The rooms are small but pretty and have a small attached balcony. I like the honesty and like the free coffee and tea.

My wife and I are a bit spoiled when it comes to hotels. Trying a small boutique hotel made me nervous. And to be honest, we can be a pain in Europe with our North American expectations on space. Hortense at the front desk was exceptionally patient and professional to deal with. The rest of the staff was great. Julie and the rest were all very friendly and trying to help make sure we were happy. The hotel is charming and quirky. The area is great if you don't want to be overwhelmed with Paris tourists. I'd stay here again. We made them work hard and they outdid themselves. Great staff made it a great stay.

Me and my wife absolutely love this place! It was perfect for us, the decor and staff was beyond great! The place is cozy, colorful, and located in a perfect neighborhood in Paris. If you are LGBT — this is a great place to stay!

We stayed here for a night this bank holiday weekend for a quick getaway to Paris for our anniversary. Working in the hospitality sector I'm quite critical usually but this hotel was lovely and well worth the money. The location was excellent, the interior design was unique and stand out which always makes me feel like I'm getting more for my money. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. I'd emailed in advance of our anniversary and even though we had paid a reduced rate for our room they put us on the 5th floor in a room with a balcony and lovely views of the Bastille (&a the top of the Eiffel Tower in the distance! ) I would hugely recommend this hotel and would look to return some time soon!

Actually, the hotel is fine but for the price and that it is a 4 star hotel I expected a bit more.

So disappointed. After reading amazing reviews, from the staff to the rooms. Stayed here for one night last night and I was woken up at 8am (from what meant to be a relaxing weekend away) from people cutting trees and sawing solidly for over 3 hours right outside the bedroom window. I know I'm in an area where there will be noise but on a Sunday morning it's ridiculous. What prompts me to write this review here is what happened afterwards. When reporting it to reception, the female receptionist thought it was funny and laughed then answered the phone before we finished the conversation. Not apologetic whatsoever. Bed might be comfy but you can't guarantee the noise outside, even on a Sunday and one member of staff in particular was rude and dismissive. Never again.

Super hotel, decorated in a modern style, colorful and very "original"! The staff is very pro and nice. The hotel is very well connected (10 minutes from the metro de la concorde)! If you want to spent a holiday that changes it is here that it must go :)

Great price paid on a boutique hotel just north of Place Bastille in Paris. Great location, close to Metro, and walking distance of the Marais and nice museums (including Musee Picasso). Some rooms have a free standing tub which makes it difficult to shower (for Americans who don't like taking baths) — be sure to ask front desk for a shower room.

I chose this hotel because it was 4 star, the rooms classified as Executive rooms. But, in fact, room very small, bathroom no privacy in bed, you can see a shower, the bathroom was like a Shoe box that small. Year this time the air conditioning is not open, the rooms don't have a fridge and small bar, don't provide room service. “ Chic”decor just, frankly, useless. In Paris, in this difficult time, the reception staff is pleasant.

Great location, friendly staff and interesting rooms. The only downside is the short timeout period for the Internet access which makes you have to log in multiple times a day.

Not perfect but not bad, just it is a good hotel. Very small room, bad elevator, bad toilet design, and 99% of TV channels in French language. BUT clean room, amazing location and friendly staff. If you stay out of the hotel many hours it's ok. But if you stay in your room more than usual, it's bad and boring hotel.

This hotel was original to say the least! The Great: Location, staff and cleanliness. It is conveniently located within a 20 min walk of the Louvre, within the 4th arrondissement where u can enjoy the Marais quarters, the Seine River and Notre Dame and a few steps to the Place des Vosges and the Bastille. There is even a Dianese store for those motorcycle enthusiasts like myself within a 3 minute walk. The not so great: The shower situation. Notes: Upon our arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff (Fabien. ) We had the “Silver” room to begin with (103. ) This room would be a kids dream with 3 “jellyfish” lighting its way. It was a bit too small for us and we were upgraded to 403 with larger square footage. 103 was OK for 1 person. A quick note to those who enjoy a little privacy like myself: ask for a full shower (with a door. ) I never thought I'd have to ask for this at any hotel. Our first room had it’s own shower, but no door and only half glass to prevent splashing. I know this sounds like the beginning of an erotic novel but after walking 12 hours in Paris, you may just want to take a shower privately to clean up. Fabien was tremendously gracious and moved us from the first smaller room to a larger second room (403) with a pimpy-tub at the foot of the bed. This dark-emerald room is whimsically decorated boasting its own balcony, view of the Beaumarchais Blvd, rustling trees outside, mirror-TV flat screen and an almost burlesque + Tim Burton décor.

We had a nice stay at Original hotel last summer. The thing that impressed me was the interior – modern and catchy. The second great thing about the hotel was its location – close to everything.

Our stay was perfect. Stayed for 6 nights. Entire staff was very friendly, cheery and helpful. Happy to accommodate our requests. Rooms are creatively and beautifully decorated, and sexy. Great location with easy access to metro, river Seine, and with many delicious restaurants near by. Will stay here if I come to Paris again. Recommend getting the gold room.

A hotel was not far from the swamp whose design was directed by fashion designer Stella Cadente. A magical universe and enchanting full of originality and ingenuity! We are in full tale of fairy and regretions of have had only 2. I would highly recommend.
