We booked to stay in mid April. Arrived to the hotel and it was a building site, not suitable for guests to stay. We checked out and asked numerous times for a refund, but our requests were all ignored.

Stayed 3 times. Spring, winter, August. Each time, a winner. Well located. Helpful staff. Value for money.

Great location and good overall level. One step away from everything in one of the most touristy and authentic places in Paris. Clean room, right sized, air-conditioned. Very positive stay and with nearby places where to have breakfast if not included in the price. Strongly recommended.

Reception, bedroom, bed, bathroom, everything was perfect. The breakfast, too. Very nice.

We've stayed here before and love it, they've even improved it by adding tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Helpful staff, great breakfasts but best of all is its location, on a direct metro line (5) from Gare du Nord, only a short walk down Boulevard Henri IV to the river and right by loads of different bistros, bars etc!

Very bad Hotel. I have stolen money from the room.

Clean rooms, but Wi-Fi is pretty non existent.

I spent a week here last month with my son, I’ll be back the end of April. Perfect location!

Wonderful room and very friendly staff. Only a 20 minutes walk from Notre dame. The rooms were more like mini apartments then overnight rooms so was very comfortable.

I have stayed here several times over the years, rooms are small but normal for Paris. Clean and has a working elevator, 605 or 608 are cool-rooms with the wooden ceiling beams and windows, open to the street, this last time I had room 305 and it opened to the front street a nice view, they are located in the Place De Bastille with a metro access 1/2 block away. Restaurants everywhere around close to everything.

Just spent my first night here and two nights to go. First impressions are excellent. Lovely room and such a comfortable bed. Great bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Well worth a visit.

Good hotel, good placement, clean and neat rooms. Pro Staff. Only weak point: avoid 6th floor. You can hear their washing machine all night. Damage.

Small rooms for someone who is used to American hotels, they only give 1 towel per person and are not excited to give you more if you ask. Nice staff, though, who greet you each time you come in. The rooms are decently cleaned, but old and not remarkable.

Booked online. Excellent and reasonable option to stay just 50 ft away from the Bastille. The area is excellent for food and drinking. Marvellous room and quiet.

This is just an ok hotel, location is great, room is pretty clean but… there's only one small elevator and in busy time you can wait for long time. the A/C in my room is broken so when I came in the first night it was just cooling non stop and I couldn't shut it down, eventually the reception guy who was sleeping in the reception when I called cam up and turned off the electricity. now it's my 3rd night here and no one fixed the A/C. cleaning lady came into my room even though I left the "do not disturb" sign outside. Wi-Fi SUCKS!, it's awful and no — one seems to care. breakfast is ok, bathroom is small. you can judge by my review. 3 stars.

I have visited 3 times, the last in April 2016, the truth that the location is great, but the service has unfortunately been decreasing.

Excellent location which is convenient to Bastille metro and many food options around. We didn't expect to pay for breakfast due to miscommunication (as we don't speak French) so the bill came as a surprise. But overall a quaint, clean hotel with decent service. The shoe cleaner by the lift and trouser presser in the room were nice touches. Seems to be more targeted towards business travelers.

Good hotel but the Wi-Fi signal was very poor in our room.
