Nice room, good lunch and friendly and attentive staff.

The charming and friendly atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, the beautiful music, my black coffee rubbed shoulders with my research readings… What else? :)

Chambre propre et moderne mais petite. Emplacement de choix. Lits confortables. Certaines chambres dont les toilettes sont situées à l'extérieur des chambres sont peu pratique. Pour finir, c'est quoi l'idée fixer la télévision dans les aires à 6 pieds de haut? À cause de la télévision, je dois donner un 3/5 plutôt que 4.

Service was perfect… croud a bit loud but overall good.

As Restaurant: Nice, comfortable, quick and friendly service. Meal was great. A bit out of all that tourism-stuff compared to Grande Allée.

Ideal for a drink or coffee in the evening, outdoor terrace covered. Friendly and helpful staff. The tables are tiny and very tight together which can get a bit annoying and noisy when there are a lot of customers. Nice place to discover.

We went to lunch with friends. The service was fast and accomodating. We will definitely go back.

Staff, courteous and warm. But what I found most insignificant is that the lunch service with two eggs is accompanied by only one roast. It wasn't even a household loaf. A doubt settled in my mind following the cashier's remark that it was normal to have only one slice of bread. I thought maybe in Quebec City it's different. Well, no, no, no, no, no, no, At our lunch the next day at the "Café du Monde" in Quebec City's Old Port, I asked if their lunch was served with two roasts. Well, yes! I got two slices of bread and all-you-can-eat coffee. My wife also had lunch, including an elongated coffee. My second elongated coffee was billed instead of using the one my spouse didn't take. Attention! check your bill.

I don't know about the hotel but the restaurant is great. I recommend to always ask for the special (for freshness and price). I had the Croquemadame and it was delicious. Their started though (a soup) was tasteless (supposedly Thai). Vaste selection of beers and wines. A rather slow service but it is good.

Lovely little place, located on a pretty street with many lively and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The hotel is situated above the café with a set of outdoor steps leading up to the lobby and rooms. The lobby had a lounge and balcony and had games, microwave, water fountain, fridge. Room was very comfortable with all amenities you'd expect, they left out chocolates each day which was very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with an extensive choice. All in all enjoyed our stay and loved the city of Quebec!

A very lively place where the food is nice… I like the reproductions of Krieghoff's paintings near the entrance.

Another cool place on rue Cartier. Good "rousse" beer for 8, 95 / pinte. There is a terrace, backyard terrace, both are cool. Well, sometimes they close early — before midnight, but on the same street, there are many other places to go so no worries ;)

J’adore ce petit café/hôtel. Place à déjeuner à chaque fois que je passe à Québec. Staff souriant et super ambiance. Les chambres sont aussi pas trop cher et la localisation est super.

Mythical place located on a very lively street. Nice discoveries to make. Lost a bit of its original charm and prices seem more expensive than elsewhere.

Absolutely loved this place! Ended up going there every morning while we stayed in Québec city. The oatmeal was so good and my husband loved the coffee. We also enjoyed sitting on the sidewalk, eating our breakfast, watching everything happening around us!

Nice room, good breakfasts (allowance of one amount per day/per reasonable person), living area, beautiful shops on the street.
The rooms overlooking the street are far from quiet! Noisy Bars in front and side, so fuss until late at night. Mattresses that start to be breath, soft. TV in the room but very limited service on the number of posts.

The breakfast poutine was amazing. There was also a Terrace and it was nice to sit outside on a sunny day.

I'd say one star is a bit too much for ruining my stay. Horrible customer service. Owner operating in bad faith. Save your time and money go someplace else.

Very enjoyable stay and dining experience here. This quaint place was always busy with locals coming early for breakfast and also enjoying dinner here. Great atmosphere and food in the dining area downstairs. Staff was friendly and professional and could switch from French to English very easily. We also stayed in the hotel upstairs. Rooms were clean and modern and beds were very comfortable. Again — great location. The street is lively but also authentic. Good walking distance from the parks and right down into Old Quebec. Would love to stay here again!

The food was very good, but the only bad thing was that it took a rather long waiting time, about 35 minutes. The rooms are very comfortable.

The food is good and the staff courteous.
Some menu items are fairly expensive, but it there ' way to eat well at a reasonable price.
