The hostess was excellent! She saw to all our needs. The room was very comfortable and the common spaces are so inviting and full of sunshine! I had a great stay!

The Widor is perfectly located, close to the Plains, tourist attractions, shops and bike paths. Warm atmosphere, very very clean. Comfortable room, very well slept. Rich breakfast. Spacious dining room full of light.

What a fabulous place!
Upon arrival, a beautifully-tended front yard welcomes you in. The rooms are very large and marvellously appointed and decorated, client kitchen is beautiful and super practical, the outdoor spaces (balcony and backyard) are wonderful oasis, and the hostess is spectacularly welcoming!
Sophie really cares and wants your experience to be the best, and goes to great lengths to do so. Highly recommend Le Widor!

My son and I really enjoyed our stay at Le Widor cottage in Quebec City. Our host was very friendly, attentive and very skilled in cooking! We really enjoyed the basement loft, with its large living room + sàm and kitchenette. The room with its two Queen beds was very comfortable. I highly recommend Le Widor for your next stay in the Nation's Capital!

What a beautiful place! Beautiful rooms each with their bathroom superbly renovated, space for clarity. Sophie our host warmly welcomed us in her beautiful house, ideally located a stone's throw from Cartier Street, a charming busy street in Quebec City, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Plains of Abraham. We will be back for sure!

This is great B&B to stay at in Quebec City! It's not too far from the action (1 block from Cartier & 6 or so blocks from nice restaurants nearer to the Old Town), and within walking distance (20 mins) to Old Town. We stayed in this place for two weeks and it was wonderful. It has a great patio on the roof, a great backyard for grilling, and a nice (warm) pool to swim in. Highly recommend!

The owner Sophie is a gem! We went to Quebec for a week to celebrate my birthday and stayed at Sophie's B&B. It was such a nice and comfortable stay. The room was big with lots of light and the beds were cold and comfy! The kitchen was big and had all necessary appliances. There's grocery shops and restaurants right behind the house. There's a paid parking lot right behind the house. The main attraction like the Fairmont Hotel is just a good 20 minute walk with lots of restaurants on the way. It was just perfect. I'm so glad I found this B&B. If we ever get another chance to go to Quebec we will definitely stay at Sophie's!

We had a family reunion in July at Petit Hotel Le Widor renting out the entire hotel. The owner, Sophie, has a lovely sense of humor, went out of her way to make us all comfortable, provided delicious breakfasts, and gave us great information about the area. The accommodations were clean, modern and spacious. The location was close to the Fields of Abraham and ideal for exploring the city. Wonderful experience!

We recently stayed at Le Widor for a family reunion and it was a very positive experience. The rooms are good sized, beds very comfortable and there was a kitchen and dining room available for our use if we wished to cook ourselves. Sophie, the proprietress, is wonderful. In addition to the delicious and varied breakfasts that she cooked for us, she shared the yard and pool and gave us good information about places of interest in the area. It is in a great neighborhood, easy walk to the old city, and near a beautiful park. It's a great place to stay and would stay here again when I am in Quebec. Merci Sophie!

I had a reservation at the Widor for one night. I was going for a special event in Quebec City. Unfortunatly, the event got cancelled the same day and I was 3 hours away from QC. I immediatly called the owner, Sophie, to tell her I had to cancel my reservation. I knew it was non-refundable 48hours before the date of check-in but she showed compassion & agreed to reimburse me half of the room. She told me exactly what to do and everything was easy, I got an email just a few minutes after to confirm. Really helpful & I appreciate what she did! Will definitely stay there next time I go to Quebec! :) the hotel looks lovely.

We travelled from Ontario to attend the famous Winter Carnival and stayed three nights at the Le Widor. Sophie (the owner) upgraded us to the family suit in the basement complete with a private entrance and all of the other amenities of home. We paid extra for the daily breakfast which was well worth it. Merci Sophie! Your hospitality was appreciated.

This is a great little boutique hotel/bed-and-breakfast (it's an "Inn", actually) with a super-friendly, new owner as of August 2016 (named Sophie). The location can't be beat; it is a very short walk to old town Quebec City, and to the Plains of Abraham (the site of the great battle of September 13th, 1759). Delicious & healthy & inexpensive breakfast, free Wi-Fi, spacious apartment with a huge bathroom & good shower / water pressure, and loads of character. Relatively cheap parking close by. We (a couple from Vancouver in their early 50's) would stay here again in a minute.

The widor is very expensive for a service worthy of a motel. Food is not included, the room is poor and the toilet is nth in the room… my God that don't regret.

This is basically a house which has been transformed into a hotel. This is an old house but I didn't expect a new house near the old city. The house is well maintained and super clean. Every corner has been decorated with good taste. Staying at this hotel made us feel like staying at home with human. The check-in was super quick and they didn't even bother about thing like security deposit, collecting credit card details, checking identity. The guy was very helpful and escorted us to our room and explained every details. The Breakfast was awesome. We stayed at Classical (Room 3) which was on the second floor. The bathroom was private although not attached. I didn't mind it because I knew it before I booked the room. The bathroom was a bit little but still workable. There is a nice little terrace with sitting arrangements. The walk to the old city gate was around 10-15 minutes through all the restaurants on Grande Allee. Cons: I would like them to provide a bigger TV with more channels as I was missing the TV on a rainy afternoon.

This B&B is very close to the Plains of Abraham battlefield and the southern gate to the old city of Quebec. The neighborhood has some good restaurants and pubs close by. If its hot ask for a room with A/C. The hosts are wonderful and the breakfast on the back porch is pleasant and very good. Parking is an issue, there is a lot very close by for an extra 15 per 24 hours. In the off season parking of course is easy to find and the A/C is not an issue. Close comfortable and friendly just know what your getting.
