Smelly room, service is way so expensive to the value.

My family was very disappointed with our stay. We were excited about and pleased with the facility and activities, however were very discouraged when we were unable to use them because of crowds. Awful planning and management. Literally two full greyhound buses of kids (middle school/early high school) arrived the same day as us and flooded the whole facility making it unusable for us and others with families of small children. When I tried to speak with the front desk about this the attendant was dismissive and condescending and brushed me off with no concern or compassion. We were willing to overlook all the smaller problems with this hotel (slow service, broken appliances, peeling paint, clogged drains, caked on dust) because we were here to entertain our kids and let them enjoy the pool, playland and inflatable area. We had to leave every single kids place though because we were literally pushed out by swarms of older kids. There was no overseeing of crowd control, or enforcement of the rules. The most infuriating part was the lack of customer service when I tried to address the problem with the staff. Will not return, will not recommend.

We had an unforgettable stay. There are so many activities that it was thought of the all-inclusive of the south. I'm already looking for our next visit!

Third time and despite the rules for Covid, we manage to have a lot of fun. Our room was clean, the pool has a good temperature, and all the other activities available had a great time for the kids. We liked the magic shows! Nice atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

I sent a very polite email, to know if It was possible to book 1 night because on the website It was marking 2 nights. And I get answered with a beautiful arrogant answer.

Very bad experience 1st and last time!
My friend had booked 3 rooms, I paid $208 for a night for a room with a queen bed, I found it expensive especially since the room was really small, having been several times to the hotel where I had a much better service for a much lower price (Room with kitchenette and King bed and a stay at another hotel in Quebec City). Arriving at the hotel impossible to enjoy the pool without doing a line-up which really discouraged me from going, plus there was a lady singing it was so loud that if I had not turned back I probably had tinnitus. My partner and I had such a bad night, the mattress and cushion are uncomfortable, we had back and neck pain the next day when I woke up, I looked more exhausted than when I arrived. Not to mention the noise, the rooms are poorly soundproofed and you can hear what the next room is doing and what is happening in the hallways. It was really hot in the room and the air conditioning didn't provide. We had lunch at the hotel, again big disappointment, pancakes and French toast not edible. I think it's worth paying this price if you have children because there are a lot of activities for them, if not run away because it's expensive for not much. In the end we couldn't even enjoy our stay because we were so exhausted after the horrible night we spent, that we didn't want to go home directly instead of going for a walk in Quebec City as planned.

Pitiful service! Worst hotel I've visited! He had plenty of blood in one of the beds, after several calls no one came to change him, I had to do it myself! After asking for the manager's call back, no one called me back!
A big zero!

No I would not recommend this hotel. Customer service is anything. What about the restaurant and their waiters. Can't have onions in my burger it's not made for that. The waiter instead of trying to fix things by seeing that we are not satisfied he runs away and never comes back to see us! bits of ceiling paint fell on my head or pool. The bottom of the pool is gooey. When we get to our room, she's dirty. We ask three times to come and clean it. No one has ever come… seriously last time I'm going there. Poor management no customer service. Wholesale anything.

Very nice experience. Meals excellent both at the buffet dinner as lunch. Family business, very pleasant! You can't get bored! It is to go in the south, but in Quebec city :)

Very disappointed with our experience! The room was dirty there was candy taped to the floor, the cushions of the chairs on our balcony were stained no service in the restaurant that is presented 2 times and had no service and the staff we had seen. We had to begin elsewhere. There was blood on the curtains and in our garden area or our balcony of the candy of small juice and paper junk there was. In the tropical garden there is really not enough seating for the world that the water is not attractive gray and blurs the children are bathed, but not us, very disappointing for the price.

J'ai adore j am going with a couple of friends was very relaxing the next time we bring the kids they will love it. Games of water and the arcade know super very good service thank you.

We had an awesome time. There was always something to do for the children and it was good atmosphere. Not very far from Quebec city and all other attractions. The only issue I have right now is that I lost an item and I have a very hard time reaching anybody. I’ve tried through several different channels and no one is getting back to me.

Very comfortable room. Just arrived. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Thankyou for speaking to us in English as our French is bad and pretty much non existent.

Generally the experience is enjoyable. The rooms are clean. Good concept for children. The music shows at the pool and the activity of exotic animals are great, we loved it. On the other hand, there is a lack of games for babies. A dry playground for under 3s would be great. The space is restricted to the pool if you have children under 3 years of age and you need the stroller. It was impossible to access the sauna, the door is blocked by the chairs.
Big negative is the restaurant! service should be improved. The waiting time is long for ordering, payment… (the restaurant was practically empty yet! ) The à la carte menu is good and the food excellent. On the other hand the evening buffet … there is a lot of room for improvement. VERY little choice and it's still pretty disappointing. I don't recommend it. For the same price it's definitely worth taking the car and going to one of the many restaurants nearby.

Not enough staff, no support for staff, restaurant service very poor and quality low for pricing, AC did not work in room and no service person on site to correct.

Nice swimming pool, one of the best I have seen in a hotel.

A great place to stay if you have young kids. The pool is a bit small for a hotel this size, but the kids splash pad and the huge play area/climbers help balance it out. All 3 of my kids enjoyed it (although I'd say 8 and under is ideal). The room was small, but functional with Murphy beds adding space when up. They are however EXTREMELY noisy! Whenever one of the kids or myself moved or turned over, my wife stirred. I'd prefer regular beds and less space if I was to stay again. Still recommend it!

Stayed here a couple of days ago and honestly so glad I did. The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were nice. The bed and the pillows were actually so comfy too. The location of the hotel is not to far from old Quebec and close to a McDonald's, restaurants and a shopping mall. Lots of parking too and I got to park right behind my room in which I had access to my car right from my room. Which made checking out so much easier because I didn't have to carry my luggage around. They always had events for kids so definitely a great place for kids. The pool was great too, it is small but went for a swim in the evening and it wasn't too packed, plus the lightening of the pool at night is so beautiful. Honestly I had a great experience and definitely will come back if I ever find myself in Quebec again!

We came to the hotel quebec with note child of 2 years, we have been very well-received, but more importantly inform on the location and the services. The restaurant is just perfect, in addition to being a calm atmosphere, we have received the plates very generous. We will return here during our next vacation to Quebec, our child became add-mad in front of the swimming pool and the games. Your concept is awesome!

This is a nice looking hotel located close to the highway. It is very close to the Quebec Aquarium. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The view is meh, unless you like looking at a highway or some other buildings close by. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is their $18 a plate breakfast buffet. It is a nice buffet, but it's worth $8.73 at most.

Small rooms. Ours was the family suit which consisted of a front room and smaller back bedroom. The front room had two Murphy beds, while the back had two twin beds and a crib. The bathroom could be entered from either room. All this was packed into what was not much bigger than a typical double Queen/king type room. Appears to have been recently updated, and everything in the room was clean. Fantastic pool/splash area for the kids. On top of that, a tall tube climbing/slide dry play area as well. They have different activities scheduled geared towards kids. While we were there they had some small exotic animals (lizard, snake, tarantula) for the kids to touch. If you have kids in the.

We stayed here for few days. Our friends also booked rooms in the same hotel because of good reviews and rooms rates. It's a nice hotel, location is good, close to city. Plenty of parking. Rooms are updated and clean. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. They have a small swimming pool and kids splash pool, kids loved it. Pool gets crowded due to being very small but still not bad to enjoy some fun time. They also have a restaurant on the main level. Will definitely consider this hotel when visiting Quebec again.

Pool and hot tub were perfect (note after lunch: pool and tub have more people then during day). Activities proposed for the kids are ok. Beds are confortable. My first night was terrible (sleep) the first room next to the arcade and a door that leads to the pool side too much noise (you might like if you are the party type next to everything). We have talk to the manager ans upgraded to better room (not free but à bit less then usual) and they accepted that we leave room 2 hours later the next day. Which is very nice.

The hotel was a wonderful surprise find, is excellent for younger children, say up to 10. The older kids might find it a little boring. Indoor 7-story play at, kind of like the typical McDonald's kid area. Very warm and clean pool in a tropical setting, with some palm trees and gardens indoors. The room is modern, some with a balcony facing the gardens/pool area. Overall an excellent stay, we would definitely return.

This is not the first time we have visited the Quebec Hotel. It's a children's paradise. Lots of activities, entertainment, shows, etc. What a positive for them!
The rooms have been renovated since our last visit and we love the result.
On the other hand, from the parents' point of view, it's a little less rosy:
— The water in the pool and spa is scrambled and not inspiring. I have the impression that the filtration system is not up to scratch. Let's just say a good shower is in order right after every swim.
" Lifeguards don't seem to take their jobs seriously. One night, two teenagers playing together near the bar. At 8:00 a. M. One of them leaves even if the pool is full. Another evening, whoever is supposed to be watching the pool passes the squeggy around the water without looking too much at the bathers.
"I learned that bed duvets are not changed to every customer. Eurk, disgusting…
— The children chose a beautiful tatoo "airbrush" all in color but a receipt a decal in black only, which stayed only half a day … Disappointing.
— The buffet was very disappointing: very little choice, questionable quality and only "sunday" in the dessert category. For the price, we would have expected better.

To be very frank, the cleanliness of the rooms is suspicious. We took a room with kitchenette and left coffee in the bottom of the coffeemaker and hair in the shower. Plus my daughter found a toy that we didn't belong in the room. In section 200, when the world passes through the hallways it's very noisy it looks like they're in the room when he talks. We hear very well the neighbors of the tops. Swimming pool and water games are interesting but the arcades quickly become expensive to hit 0. $50 or 0, $75 the part. For an arcade trip at this price pay more expensive and go to the Carrie Factory to play at will.

The rooms are comfortable and modern but do not take the couch rooms for 3. They're tiny. The pools and attractions are great for the kids. It's well maintained. On the other hand the restoration is not up to par. The staff are friendly but the service is poor and the quality of the restoration is very average. I would go back but I will eat outside.

The hotel is superb but the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired it offers a very ordinary hot buffet on weekends and the à la carte menu is similar to a canteen menu. The other dish on the menu which was less fast foods we were very disappointed. A bib of beef that was very well cooked instead of being bleeding and ribs raised in industrial quantity but it was only fat, practically no meat. We have been visiting this hotel for a few years and over time we have realised that the restaurant has lost a lot of feathers.

The place can be cool but human service side is gap at the bar 20 minutes waiting before seeing anyone. My parents had a water damage they were not changing rooms and they had no compensation and the housekeeping was only done in the evening. We paid with our card but there was a bug in their system and rather than calling us they carried all the fees on my father's card 3 rooms! And still no excuse or compensation. I'm not going back!

The Hotel Quebec is perfect for a family stay. The swimming pool, the arcades, the daily animations, the inflatable games… It's all there for a perfect combination. The breakfasts are plentiful and succulent. The staff are very helpful and attentive. The rooms are spacious, very well soundproofed and equipped. I would recommend for an unforgettable stay.

Great place for families with younger kids. So many activities you won't have to leave the hotel. Plan to stay at least 2 nights so you can benefits from all they offer. Resto on site not great especially the buffet option.

Great hotel with very friendly staff, smoking rooms on the top floor which is a major plus. I always stay here, only downsides would be food is quite expensive and the shower water pressure isn't the greatest, but that's nitpicking, great hotel.

Hotel very clean and nice to be there. There are activities per tonne for kids, they really loved it. The only downside is that it lacks a common space to eat our lunches without going to our room or restaurant. My blonde who is Celiac was refused to bring her protein shake despite the fact that we were 3 to eat at the restaurant of the place.

The staff are super courteous, the rooms are very clean. The activities offered are very amusing. The kids love it. But the restaurant is completely hideous. The food is terrible and the prices are exorbitant.

It's true that the sheets don't hold up, a little weird.
The water is hot in the pool and the water games so perfect for the kids… and the parents.
The only big problem I think is the restaurant. The breakfasts are good but the rest is really ordinary.

Kid friendly hotel. Indoor pool, spa and water games. Live bands, activities and animation. First time here with the kids. A definite stop for us from now on.

Great rooms and hotel overall. The pool, arcades and games are a little dated and there wasn't enough room in the pool for the amount of people. But still had a great stay. Rooms were clean and modern.

The bed configuration needs to be reviewed. We woke up in the morning lying on the dive of the bed (which is not washed) and the duvet (not washed) directly on us (which was supposed to hold between 2 sheets accosted against each other?!?
It's not understanding anything and I won't go back! This is not worthy of a Jaro hotel!

Location of the hotel was good. It was right next to a highway and 5 minutes from the Quebec Aquarium. The room was very nice, restaurant prices were descent and the staff was great. We didn't use the pool area but it looked really neat with all the tropical plants. Would recommend the place and go again for a future visit!

Hotel is pretty nice. Lots of things to do for kids. We had a room with 2 queen size Murphy beds and separate room. Quite nice. Amenities are basic. Reception staff is great and friendly. Restaurant staff is also awesome! Spa was just ok. Massage was worth it. They did not offer me anything to drink in 3 hours. And fish pedicure is not worth it at all. Not very sanitary. Feet were not checked or washed before or after. Restaurant food is below par.

Great for the kids but I found it lacking. The pool area is a great feature & is open quite late (10pm). The other activity areas & constant entertainment for the kids in the evening was also wonderful. And the murphy bed really lets the kids sleep comfortably (without having to dedicate space to a full-time bed if less than 3 people). However, the restaurant was not worth the cost & the shower in the room had such little pressure that I never felt fully clean afterwards. Also, the fake fireplace in the room doesn't seem to turn off. It cost almost $650 for 3 nights, so I expected more. But I can't give it less than 3⭐ because the kids had such a blast. Wouldn't stay again at this price.

Great place The hotel is modern and clean Rooms are nit the biggest, but they are very nicely re-modeled, with hardwood floors, electric fireplaces and what is a great idea, Murphy beds in addition to regular queen size bed, which is much more comfortable than any sofa bed. Pool area is perfect for kids and it's open late (10PM). Wi-Fi is fast, but it's a challenge to connect to 'Chamber' network for the first time, at least me and all people in my party had the problem. Still, great hotel, located not far from historic Old City, highly recommended.

Our five year old had a great time and enjoyed the playground and the pool! The room was very nice, clean, with nice comforters on the beds. The fireplace is a little chintzy and cannot be turned off. The balcony overlooking the pool is nice, bit is a mixed blessing as the sound from the poolside entertainment definitely carries into the room, even with the door closed. There should really be about double the pool and play space to make this enjoyable for adults. When it's busy, it feels really busy! There is little space for adults to sit and watch the kids out on the pool deck when busy. We had the buffet breakfast and it was mediocre at best. All in all our son did enjoy our stay but I do not think I will return to stay again.

Lovely hotel if you have children. It's clean despite all the kids, the staff is extremely polite and helpful. The swimming pool was great for my toddler and he loved the splash pad. I've been to it twice already and plan to come back in the future, I've read complaints about the temperature of the water in other reviews, it's the warmest hotel pool I've been with my family, very easy to spend a long time swimming. I didn't eat in the hotel so I can't vouch for the food.

The hotel is awesome. I got a regular room for my my wife, son, and I. My son is 1.5 years and he loved it. The food in their restaurant/buffet is awesome for the price and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have an amazing pool and kids area for children to play. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I'm so happy I came here!

We stayed at the two bedroom suite, and it was smaller than we expected. The pool was nice but the pictures online were misleading. The slides do not go into the pool, they are just dry slides, and the pool is completely shallow. The staff is nice however, and they are all bilingual.

This hotel gets a 5 simply for the bathrooms and lobby. The pool area is amazing, especially if you have children. The bathroom is very clean and the shower is actually enjoyable (not something you want to get over quickly) and the sink is super cool. Very modern hotel with reasonable price for the location (~10mins from all the touristy stuff). Only downside would be a fan to air out the humidity in the bathroom and opening windows.

Comfortable Hotel, very odd layout that makes for some long walks to the main entrance/restaurant and lobby. The Restaurant and Bar have good food and some cheap booze. There is a nice pool area near the lobby which has a jungle feel too it. The hotel really feels like a weird mishmash of decorators and themes. It is like they have had multiple people come and go and leave their own touches on it, blue lights all over the lobby, creepy clown statues in the jungle themed pool area, modern glass sink in the room bathroom with vintage African theme in the room that has a giant electric fireplace in it? Also note the bedside reading LED is wired together with the transformer using electrical tape so the light is constantly blinking, I saw that in the other rooms we had as well. Two last gripes about the room, many of us had no toilet paper or only 1 towel and the TV is pretty damn small. Other than that, everything was clean, the staff was friendly and it is a great location. Only about 20 minutes to old Quebec and close to the highway as well. It is always nice to have a fridge in the room as well on extended stays. There is also a microwave located in a kitchenette in the hall if required.

My room was spacious and very clean in fact just like the photos! The bathroom although not huge was again very nice and very clean again just like the photo! I didn't use the pool but I did sit poolside in one of the many areas available again very clean and nicely laid out. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
