The hotel is very beautiful and the staff is welcoming. But a lot of noises in the evening.

We went to the plaza last night for the dinner show, everything is the meal super good and very hot, fast service, the people at the hotel are friendly and courteous. The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable… the only problem is that we were near the elevator so from 6:30 this morning we woke up very early. Otherwise everything else was perfect… Thank you nice stay.

We are greeted very coldly and without a smile.
The pool is way too small. In addition, plenty of children were accepted into the hot tub. A smell of urine floats in the room. Our bodies and swimsuits smelled so much of urine that we didn't stay more than 5 minutes. Very disappointing! Very outdated playroom! In addition, the restaurant is far too expensive for what it offers.
Positives: beautiful decoration in the room and excellent lunch buffet!

Impeccable Service, rooms with a chic and charm. Staff professional and attentive. This is my preferred hotel for several years, I recommend it to all. A must see in Quebec.

Well there was a hockey tournament for 10 year olds, all over the pool and hot tub with no parents in sight. The poor lifeguard had her hands full, not fair. And no towels for the pool and I was there for an hour. There should be kids with adults only.

I stayed here while visiting Quebec. The location is great. Close to many local amenities. The rooms were very clean, customer service was kind and polite. The hotel restaurant was nice as well. Great variety for breakfast. My favourite part of this hotel was the pool and spa. It's like you are in spanish colonial building. The balconies and the greenery was just beautiful. They also had work out machines and a sauna. I would recommend a stay here.

Our room smelled strongly of sewage every night when we returned to the hotel after a long day of travelling, and when we complained, the staff simply sprayed strong and perfumey air freshener in the room instead of dealing with the problem of the smell. Upon checkout, they told us they knew the room would smell bad because of some ongoing maintenance issues, and we found it unacceptable that we would be charged full price for our stay or that the room would be rented out at all. Also, the water tasted strongly of chlorine, the room was too dim even with all the lights on, and the staff did not clean the room very well. Thankfully they refunded us a small portion of our fee and offered us a free breakfast before we left, which was nice of them. Also, the hotel really is beautiful, especially the pool area — I only wish we had been able to enjoy the whole experience with a better room.

I wanted to give 4 because of their nice receptionists. Most of them are very kind and sweet. The problem was our room's shampoo/conditioner/soap label were all misplaced it, caused skin irritation, and I requested twice at front desk but nothing changed. It was very confusing, only I know was which one could be conditioner as I felt the texture. But the shampoo and soap were uncertain because wash basins soap was blue color, but shower room's soap was green color. I couldn't figure out which one was shampoo or soap till now. And the bed was soft that my husband and I got back ache.

Clean hotel, staff is friendly, restaurant's food was enjoyable, free parking indoors and outdoors. Live jazz band was playing in the evening. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a deluxe queen room. It was close to everything. You could walk everywhere in the old town. Staff at front desk were friendly and helpful. I have no complaints at all. Make sure you book directly with hotel to get the free breakfast.

This is one of the most beautiful place where I slept, the served is extra, the employees its super professional and the restaurant really its check! I highly recommend it to all!

Great hotel! Comfortable beds, nice people, the restaurant was delicious. I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel for our honeymoon! If we ever come back this is where we will stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff greeted us with smiles and the lobby was so welcoming, we knew we would have a great time. This is a boutique hotel. The rooms are a little On the small side but the style and efficiency make up for that. The decor is modern and fresh and very space efficient. One of the beds folds out of the wall where the couch was. It is a very comfortable bed — not a fold out couch type bed. A very nice feature is the electric fireplace! It’s so cool! It’s under the TV in the wall with controls on the wall. This was one of our favorite things! In each room is a coffee maker and a mini fridge. So convenient! The rooms are well appointed and plush. The hotel has a beautiful indoor pool. Some rooms have a balcony open to the pool area which is like an atrium 4 stories high. Next time I will request one of these rooms! This was definitely an unexpected surprise. There are many meeting rooms for banquets and meetings. There is a room set up for watching movies with special chairs and a big TV on the wall. You can get movies from the front desk. They also have a game room with pinball games and football. Fun for teenagers. There is also a kids play room for the little kids. The restaurant is very nice, on the fancy side. They have a very nice, popular Sunday brunch. The food was delicious. The night club bar was open for a private party. They had fun and tasty appetizers and good drinks.

My opinion on just one star is simple… We took the trouble to say that we were with a person with reduced mobility… I sincerely believe you have not put the magnitude on our request. Because your bathroom in the rooms are not really suitable for a person with reduced mobility, the bath is too high, even if you put a booster bar, it must still be logical to put baths lower … Myself without having a problem, I find it high. The second point, the service is super long at the restaurant Le Ginger… And yet the restaurant was not full far from there… I often travel on weekends and I am more or less satisfied, but I will now refrain from returning to the scene… On the other hand the meal was excellent despite the wait… But this is not a place for people with reduced mobility.

A nice, contemporary hotel. Staff is courteous, and speaks English and French fluently. There was a problem with my booking, and we didn't have a reservation for the date we arrived, however they were able to shift things around without charging me a fee. Room are an average size, however quite cozy. My room had a fridge, however no microwave. All in all a decent stay and very close to Laval University.

Clean room with adequate soundproofing. It is true that corridors should be released more frequently. A case of beer from the adjoining room remained in the corridor more than 24 hours. The temperature of the pool is not constant. The one at the hotel Quebec seems warmer. Quieter environment than hotel Quebec. No movie schedule for kids, some old DVDs as a movie choice. That would be better.

Second visit to you first a charm the second nothing goes more we took a privileged room but no privilege was given to us we had to order itself which is very ordinary when you pay for services. First night we forget our good night service a chance that Simon at the restaurant had made us spend a good evening his past. Our second day was even more disappointing services at the restaurant 0 then room not made on our return 3:30 pm so no beer, water or chips we have to order again to be answered that it up to 6 pm for the room. So they did when we needed the room to get ready to go to the restaurant to have to fight to get a plate other than the children's buffet following our dinner still no chip or water ect still we order but there we get answered its going to be with the service good night eat no chip rendered at 11 pm but good better than nothing. Not to mention the difference in fare when I booked I was sold at $630 yet the next week it's $584 so again I call you and I had to call the reservations to make me tell to call the establishment to make me say that one could only cancel my reservation and that on my side I had to book via internet to have got fare I spoke to the management who tried to sell me the idea that the price of $630 was the good to finally tell me it's ok for $584 ridiculous to still have to fight to pay the price posted very disappointed my stay after 6 visit to your establishments I think found a new chain.

Hôtel très moyen. Les chambres ne sont pas très fonctionnelles. Exemple: lorsque vous aurez trouvé la planche à repasser tout un défi se présentera à vous pour l'utiliser (voir photo). Petite salle de bain avec baignoire au haut rebord, faîtes attention de ne pas vous cogner. Le lit est cependant confortable et vous profiterez d'un stationnement gratuit. Enfin la petite boutique café à l'entrée offre des produits de piètre qualité, café très ordinaire, viennoiseries à peine mangeable. Hôtel qui dépanne bien et abordable. Bien situé proche des autoroutes.

I am giving this place 5 stars on service and cleanliness and parking and everything. The only thing that my wife and sister in law did not like was the humidity in the room was higher than they expected given the balcony in your room opens up to an indoor pool. Very nice place, family friendly and just an over all great experience. Reasonably priced as well for what you get.

I went to the hotel 2:00 before the last meeting to meet the director and talk about placements. I waited alone, the open cell phone sitting near the reception room that the latter is free and come to see me. Looks like I was suspected by the hotel staff. A person with a walkie-talkie prowled and I could hear chatting. Obviously, they were describing me. A surveillance camera, placed on the ceiling near me, suggested that the caller on the walkie-talkie was watching me. I felt well stalked when at last the director came to me. The Walkie-talkie agent approached us one last time and sketching a polite smile as if to apologize, finally walked away. I felt bad. Like a mess. It has as tinted the conversation with the director of a touch of detectable bitterness in my home. It made sure to make a very bad first impression with her. Thank you Hotel Plaza Quebec for your discretion. Excellent Buffet on the other hand.

The buffet served at the assisted training was very good. The staff was for its part very courteous, however, they ran out of desserts. The rooms are well organized to receive large groups.

Nice hotel with several meeting rooms (business). It has an indoor and an outdoor parkings, but in the wintertime it is better to use the indoor one. I went there the next day of a snow storm and I was surprised to see that they didn’t shovel snow in the main entrance. Customers tried to access the outdoor parking and their cars hung up on the large snow bank in the entrance. An employee tried to help them but he only had a small shovel. Not a good first impression of the hotel.

Great rooms, great service, layout of the hotel is weird.

What a very modern and comfortable hotel. The staff was very kind. The location was good. The 2 shopping malls were in walking distance. We highly recommend and plan to stay again.

— Beau lobby — Plusieurs emplacements de détente — Il manque d'entretien de cet hôtel: -les tables communes proches de la piscine ne sont pas nettoyées souvent — les préposés à l'entretien laissent des assiettes sales, bouteilles de bière etc. Dans les couloirs pendant longtemps (plus de 2h selon mon expérience). Pas très intéressant lorsqu'on sort pour aller souper disons. — plus de 60% des "arcades" étaient non fonctionnelles, ne compter pas là-dessus pour divertir vos enfants… De plus, le préposé à l'accueil ne voulait pas trop me donner de change, et ne m'a jamais mentionné qu'il y avait une machine à change pas loin… — Salle de jeu est très petite et laissée à l'abandon, vraiment pas intéressant pour les enfants — l'ameublement dans le restaurant est sale. — Malgré que le déjeuner (brunch le dimanche) était inclus, le "serveur" s'est empressé de me remettre une facture à 0$ en insistant sur le fait que le service n'était pas inclus. Il a ensuite pris le pourboire rapidement devant nous alors que je finissais mon café. — Nous avons dû attendre longtemps avec toutes nos valises dans le lobby de l'hôtel en attendant un chariot. — N'utilisez surtout pas le téléphone dans la chambre, il a eu une charge de 2.50$ pour un simple appel local… — Le personnel d'accueil n'était pas très… accueillant.

The location is close to the airport and train stations, you'll still need to cab to those areas. There is a restaurant inside, fast food places and a mall nearby if you need to get something quick. The indoor pool is fairly nice and open at reasonable hours. Staff was accomdating and helpful. Deco was nice and appealing. The only issue with the rooms is that they felt humid which made it uncomfortable to stay in during the night.

This place has a nice lobby… and that's it! Room are dirty, no fan in the bathroom that cause molds on the walls… So called family suite is smaller than any regular rooms I have ever been in in any hotel and is supposed to have a kitchennet that is basically a sink, a coffee maker and a microwave that is under the sink, no utensils. Personal is very polite and helpful.

This is barely a 1 star hotel. This place is a very ugly hotel but with a nice lobby design, the actual hotel is a bunch of ugly buildings hidden by the "castle" entrance so don't be fooled. The finishes are the cheapest I've seen anywhere, the place looks like it was designed by a 10 year old, on a budget. It is a maze and difficult to get in and out of. The pool is filled with kids and the chlorine smell is so bad you can't even open the balcony let alone enjoy it. Overall it's a mad house and a scam. For the price you can get into an actual 4 star hotel in the city with some money to spare.

No soundproofing! The children run through the passages until midnight and it looks like they're running next to our bed, you can follow the conversation going on in the hallway without a problem… really a big problem on that side, though, good mattress, nice welcome, cleanliness 50/50 without More! In short, never could!

MY hotel par excellence when I go to Quebec City. The rooms are very clean. The service is excellent. I went out of season and in the season and the prices are very reasonable. I also love the sauna, even if it is not great, it was very nice. On the side of the pool, I expected to have a space without children, but it is no more serious than that. I am also very happy to be able to have almost every shot, a small balcony. With a glass of wine, it's always nice to relax! The proximity to old Quebec is reasonable too. Anyway, I recommend it.

It is a good stay it is a family class hotel The playroom is very basic the kids are bored quickly only one inflatable games the pool there were too many people then they put too much chlorine my children cry so much because it stings the People at the services are nice is kind the restaurant too expensive for food quality.

Very comfortable rooms food at the restaurant was good the only issue I had was that the hot tub was very outdated all in all great place to stay, very clean!

I had a meeting with my association professional and it was a really beautiful place. Parking is free and accessible. The catering service was excellent and the buffet was delicious. 5

Christmas dinner for work. The dinner was good. The wine still expensive, but like all restaurants (more than 3 times the price of the bottles).

Nice place, but the meal at the restaurant (Ginger) was not very filling. Looked more like an entree portion than a full meal. It was really good however.

Place is clean nice and convenience. Design and deco is very style and morden. Day time staff are very nice. the male receptionist at night was not nice. there was a problem with Wifi connection. There were three guests had same problem at same time. from my app showed lower price, when I showed to the receptionist, he ignored. the hotel back door is open all the time. No restrictions, I have a security concerned for guests.

Rooms nicely decorated. Had a room with interior balcony looking down on the pool was great only negative aspect is at 7 am kids go in the pool and noise comes trou into the room. Rooms are fairly small but livable and housekeeping is basic.

We loved it. It was kid friendly. There were characters walking around entertaining children. Our stay was perfect. Even the restaurant had delicious food and great ambiance.

Had stayed in hotel for one night was disappointed with the location and service of hotel. I stayed in Room 106 and balcony of this room is right in front of Indoor Pool where you have crowd starting from 8 am to 10 pm. You will hear the noise always. The Air Condition makes so much noise whenever it turns on/off. Cable service on TV in room was freezing after every 1 minute. Internet was dropping and reconnecting after every 2 to 3 minutes. Room itself was good as per cleaniness and decoration.

Our room was on level 1 with a terrace facing the pool. Imagine leaving your hotel room, double checking the doors are locked as you head off for a day of sight seeing only to return in the evening to find the lights shinning out from an open door & no one around! It was so scary. I'm completely disapointed in this hotel & it's total lack of regard for our personal belongings & private space. Who knows how long the door was left open! We've informed the Hotel Manager, who thanked us for letting her know & have checked out. Also of note, the terrace needs spraying for bugs, face clothes should be replaced when removed by housekeeping, shower caddy falls off wall during use, bath towel ends are ripped, some towels are old. Bathroom tub is tall with a glass enclosure which is tricky to get in & out of. Bathroom is very compact, caddy above toilet isn't cleaned of dust to floor, wall door on inside requires cleaning from dust. No electric outlet on one side of lit up night stand for cell phone plug in. Not enough hanges for 2 people. Location of room & parking excellent, staff are friendly, large pool & restaurant on premises.

This hotel is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and the beds are comfortable. The swimming pool area is so beautiful, it has a European feel to it. Next time I'll book a room that overlooks the pool area… the price was good for the quality of the hotel. Love it!

Great family hotel. Lots of entertainment for kids in addition to large swimming pool. Inflatable play structure. While we were there for two days, they had a face painter, a ballon artist and a exotic animal exhibition for kids. All free and kids loved them. There was a small issue with our room (got the wrong crib) and they took care of it and gave us gifts due to the error. Highly recommend for families with younger kids.

Hotel Plaza Quebec is a really good hotel. I'm here for a 4 day trip for the end of our Grade 8 year. In terms of the room, it's got a really nice bathroom, the beds/mattresses are very comfortable, and the view is really nice. The lobby is very pretty and has lots of decorations. It's all very posh. The pool is really big and some the rooms have balconies overlooking the room. The staff is are all very kind. I don't really speak French but they all understood our english perfectly. I have enjoyed my experience at this hotel.
