Service was good, with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms satisfactory in general. Good price includes nice breakfast, Wi-Fi & parking. However, cleanup prior to arrival had been inadequate. Recycle bin not emptied. Food still in fridge. Carpet could have been vacummed to much better effect. A few details in bathroom. Probably will think twice before staying there again…

The room with two reserved double beds was not ready upon arrival. So we had another room with a single couch bed and a folding bed. Both were very uncomfortable (the springs made sleep very uncomfortable). Otherwise, clean hotel, comfortable double bed and decent breakfast.

Pros: On highway, free breakfast (waffles, eggs, coffee, sausage, etc. ), clean rooms, good water pressure. Cons: Cost was a bit higher than I'd prefer (but that's what you get when you book on a Friday along the 401 I guess) Overall: Would recommend to anyone stopping for the night on the 401

When in Kingston I always stay here. Great staff, great management, the rates are very reasonable and they include a decent breakfast in the morning. On a recent trip I didn't end up making my reservation and Melissa was very polite and credited my room back to me. Hard to find good service these days, you will however always find it here.

Not worth $180.00 a night thats for sure! hotel is run down, garbage in the stairway. Attendant at desk was alone and had no help, he was doing check in as well as running things to people rooms. We requested a cot I asked for a blanket and was told I would only get one if he had one. The front entrance needed to be repaired immediately as it looked as though someone drove into it and the whole canopy was going to collapse the caution tape around it was not going to keep it from falling down.

We stayed two nights, it was clean, front desk staff were friendly, breakfast was good. The hotel is close to restaurants, grocery stores and some shopping in the area. Cloes to alot of tourist attractions. Overall a nice place to stay.

The location Comfortable bed and spacious room. Only small low point dirt in the bathroom. I have a hot rate on Hotwire $162 taxes included.

I had no problems with my stay. I couldn't speak for my coworkers though. The decor is a bit outdated but at least there's free hot breakfast.

I'm a tradesman and was there on business so I wasn't expecting anything fancy for an overnight stay. It was clean, staff were pleasant and professional and the breakfast was above what I expected for the price. Waffles (self made), eggs, bacon and hash brown potatos etc. It's what you'd expect (nothing fancy), well worn floors/bathroom sink cracks etc, but the beds and towels and bathrooms were clean. It isn't the Ritz but it was clean,, somewhat modern and taken care of… I'd bring my family. It was as nice as the super 8 but everything gl is in one building and there are a lot of places within walking distance to eat.

Good service, basic rooms with carpet. Room had extreme stench of perfume or something. Might be carpet cleaner but smells very strong I won’t be back.

Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was above average; pastries, bread, cereal, fruit, omelette, sausage, waffles, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, coffee and tea. It exceeded my expectations. However the room had a strange smell to it. Kind of like a wet towel smell. It wasn't the towels however, which smelled freshly bleached. The presentation of the towels in the bathroom was sloppy — — like they'd been hurriedly thrown over the rack. And there were splashes of what I assume was cleaning product on the wall of the shower. The heater/cooler wall unit was quite loud, which actually worked perfectly as white noise for us, but it didn't seem to respond to the thermostat changes. Overall, we got what we paid for. It was reasonably priced, and if you can overlook the odd smells then it was perfectly comfortable.

The comfort Inn I stayed at was right off the highway. It was great in terms of convenience — restaurants close by. Good service at concierge and breakfast was included. 4 pillows provided. Coffee maker in our room did not work, nor did the hairdryer. Carpet was a bit grimy.

Comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Room heaters are a little old school. Good fast free Wi-Fi.

Pretty much what we expected. Clean with comfortable beds but nothing extravagant. Free breakfast had something for everyone, the kids loved the waffle maker!

Facilities were clean but a little run-down, the pricing is appropriate. Pet fee very reasonable and staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we happened to end up next to a very noisy women's team from Trent who gossipped quite loudly early Saturday morning. But I suppose that's more of a commentary on college girls than it is on the Comfort Inn.

Comfortable room, very basic amenities. Close to restaurants and highway. Service could use improvement, staff not overly friendly.

We checked in late as a last minute stay on the road, the clerk told us there was a queen and king available so when we said we'd take queen I went to the car to get my wallet, when I came back he said someone had just booked the queen (for that night? at 12am. Really? ) it seemed kinda shady but we said we would take the king (better than sleeping in the car right? ) The room was nice and the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was pretty basic, ive had better hotel breakfasts, so we ate quickly and moved on. The lady working the desk at checkout was very friendly! thats why I gave it 3 stars (otherwise it would be two). Overall its what you would expect from a comfort in. I would stay again if I really needed a place to stay.

More less spacious rooms with tall mini fridges. Beds are comfy, pull out sofas and cots are damaging to the back. A friend in a different room on the first floor found a large millipede on their wall and four of its babies in his bed. He slept in the tub that night.

The bed was very hard and a strong smell of javax off sheets and pillows.

Decent overall. Nice rooms. Clean. Check-in was late due to the hotel being booked full the night before.

Location for the comfort inn in kingston is amazing loads of run for parking rooms and very clean. Service at the front desk is okay anf by okay I mean only 1 guy who seems to carr all the girls didnt seem to care.

Very comfortable stay. Room was clean and everything worked. The bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast was good but you may want to get there early to be sure there is a full selection available.

WARNING to those who may be planning on staying at this hotel. Do not leave your vehicle unlocked we had several items stolen out of our vehicle while staying there recently. The person who took our things clearly went through our belongings that were in our vehicle because stuff was moved around & not where we had left them. So far we are up to about $900 worth of missing items. As far as the hotel is concerned the hotel staff is very friendly & the rooms were clean for the most part (there were some areas in our room that were missed). Our sink faucet had so much gunk built up in it that the water would barely trickle out which we were able to fix ourself just by removing the screen to the faucet & rinsing it (very nasty! ). Next time we are in the area I would spend a little more $ on a room & stay some where else.

I cam in very late at night and the Front desk associate was fast and efficient in getting me a room. The room was clean and I wasn't disturbed once during the night due to other guests. Great stay, would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Nice, friendly and accommodating staff with a cleansley environment. Wifi works great breakfast is satisfactory, stay there often for work never a problem.

We stayed here one night but when we first got in the room it smelled very musty. There was no air circulation in this air tight room. Should leave the air conditioner on to get more air flow. Was very quiet and parking lot was well lite behind building were our room was.

Rooms were clean and quiet. Service was great and the rates were reasonable. We stayed three nights and have no complaints at all.

The first room was not cleaned properly BUT the front desk staff gladly upgraded me to a better room. -Wifi was fine, no issues. New room was spotless, nicely renovated. -Excellent front desk staff. Awesome free breakfast, real bacon and eggs. -I would stay here again 100%

Great service, really friendly staff and crew, I had an issue with my car and they quickly help me out. The room was clean and the bathroom well renovated. The only issue was the Wi-Fi connection, breakfast is ok. Nice area to stay, everything you need is around. I would stay again!

Wifi is terrible and when I asked if they could do anything they said they had people coming in. But reading reviews from 3 months back it appears nothing has been done at all.

I stayed here on the 3rd and 4th of May 2013. The facilities are not new but kept clean. I had car trouble with my daughters car (student). I managed to get a battery and some tools from Canadian Tire before they closed. Rob the guy on the desk took time to hunt out some hand tools that saved me calling out CAA. The breakfast Sunday morning was standard hotel fare but the lady looking after the place kept it cleaner than any I have stayed in recently. Please value your staff they do a good job.
