Wonderful stay as always. Feels like home away from home. The staff is polite and warm. Pizza places deliver also (I would suggest Pizza pizza).

Good clean spacious room. My room had an issue with the ac so they changed it for me the next day. Highly recommend you to stay in comfy room. Good morning complimentary breakfast.

The hotel was being renovated. Pool was unavailable. Room was nice. Staff was great. Breaķfast was good. I will probably stay there again when I visit the Toronto Zoo.

I would rate a 3.5 if it was an option. Front desk staff are personable and helpful. The room is updated and has a microwave and fridge. Breakfast could be better (fully cook meat products so they are not light) but you have options. Need some improvement in housekeeping. The rooms could be cleaned better (pillow cases changed when needed and dusting).

We spent 4 days at this hotel.
Lunch varied but if you want a seat you have to go there of good time.
Pool closed until December 2018.
The staff are courteous and helpful.
Microwave and convenient fridge for a less expensive trip.

We stayed in July and we are returning back in August the hotel was amazing regarding Service, rooms and cleanness. The Staff was super helpful specially Mr. Dane at the reception he was very supportive. Good breakfast. It is close to one of the malls but not close to down town it needs like 25 minutes to get their by public transport which was not bad at all.

The Best Western Plus Executive Inn-Toronto is newly renovated. The guest rooms and entry area are well-appointed and appealing to the eye. The staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. Rooms are outfitted with basic amenities. Stay includes breakfast and there is an automatic coffee maker (grinds, brews) that produces a high quality, drink to get the day started. I highly recommend this hotel if you're not looking for special amenities. Please use GPS to find entrance. There is no sign marking the hotel entrance off the main road.

The room was recently renovated so it appeared newer and brighter though they did not replace the sofa which had several stains on it. The bedding was comfy. Did struggle to get some of our electronics on to the Wi-fi. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at Best Western Scarborough. The room was beautifully renovated, quiet, and comfortable. All staff we met and/or dealt with were very pleasant. Breakfast was basic, in the temporary breakfast room. The new dining room looks like it is going to be wonderful. Didn't use the pool or workout room.

Lovely renovations that are underway really look nice. Staff was excellent and breakfast was good. I would stay here again as it was an enjoyable experience.

Under renovation, room is very nice. Almost finished renovation in the hallways of the lobby and on on the first floor only. Will be finished by May 2018. I would recommend this facility to anyone for a spa getaway. Breakfast is very complete; bacon and eggs, ham and eggs, bagels and cereal’s, juices, coffee. Fresh fruit, very good selection; not just a continental breakfast, waffles too. Front desk office staff very capable and accommodating.

We were staying at the best Western and despite some renovations, we had a good overall experience. Bed and pillows were comfortable and clean, spacious room with seating area (king bed plus couch was a pull out). Bathroom was clean and shower pressure decent. Breakfast was included and was good overall. Good choice of the basics, eggs, breakfast ham or sausage and yogurt, got the job done. Temporary breakfast room was a little tight, but the efforts of those working the shift were noticed and all the food was fresh and always available. Good stay in a great area! Accessible to highway, shops restaurants!

Would not recommend taking here. Empty food containers and garbage were found in the night stand drawer from the previous guests. Not very confident on how well the rooms are cleaned after finding this.

Duvet had stains on it and the manager blamed me for it even thought it was a preexisting condition one that I told him I could prove if he would just take the time to listen and refused to listen. Housekeeping was lax and did not do their job at all in all of the three days I was there and my room had 5 bags full of take out food garbage and management again would not take into consideration my complaints, rather he wanted to blame me for the cleanliness of the room even though housekeeping never once did their job even though I requested them to come to my room and tidy up on numerous occasions during my three day stay. I would not go back to this hotel again because the and management and housekeeping staff are lazy and incompetent. I have stayed at several hotels and have never had such terrible service and the disregard by management for guest complaints were above and beyond rude and negligent.

We travel with five large breed Service Dogs and many hotels find reasons not to have us stay. The exact opposite occurred here. Front desk staff were extremely helpful in adjustments to our and our Service Dogs needs. The rooms were extremely clean and well maintained through out our 4 day stay. Breakfast was a very wide variety of options including fresh fruit and bread, pastries, etc. Hot or cold choices were tasty and very well prepared. Despite the hotel undergoing major interior renovations it was clean and well maintained. The hotel staff were fantastic from the managers to the housekeepers. We will definitely be using this hotel again.

A comfortable clean room with the best Wi-Fi connection I've ever had in a hotel room. The included breakfast was good and price was competitive. The kids sports team that were staying in the rooms around us was surprisingly not a noise issue even when they were playing in the hallway. Would recommend and stay here again.

Great staff — always ready to make you feel welcome. From your check in to breakfast to simply going in and out, you're always greeted with a smiling face. Love the housekeeping staff too. One day our "please make up this room" sign was accidentally turned around to "do not disturb", and they left a note to apologize for not making up the room. Good value for the money, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Staff and the room were fine, everything was clean and smelled good, but: (I'll leave the worse for last) — Parking is only safe in the front lot, do not go to the back lot to park! Front desk staff even advised so! — Recently renovated room; silicone finger prints in the bottom of the tub we could not remove, should have been cleaned out long ago! — The "hot breakfast" was the worst thing we have ever had anywhere. I spat the so called "omelette" back on the plate and the "sausage" as well, absolutely the most disgusting taste the 4 of us ever tasted. We all threw our plates into the garbage in front of everyone! Some people were actually eating this stuff? — why? — because it is fee?! My friend who is a correctional officer said they served a better breakfast in the Don Jail when it was in operation (now closed). We will go back, but will know not to partake in the crappy food they have the nerve to call "breakfast"…

Loved the room, very comfortable, and comfortable beds. Very clean. Loved having a fridge and microwave in the room. Nice to be close to main routes and highways but the rooms were very quiet with little exterior noise intrusion. Loved having the coffee machine adjacent to the lobby downstairs. Didn't have time to use the pool but it looked well enjoyed by many families. Pool could be bigger… because pool was full of children we chose not to use it. Have nothing against kids and the number would've been fine with a bigger pool but at the current size there was just no room to really enjoy the pool. The staff were extremely pleasant to deal with. Have never felt so welcomed by hotel staff. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family which included three adults and two kids were at the hotel in mid September and were very impressed by the service. The location worked very well us, as was central, the staff were excellent and assisted us during the stay. The breakfast was very good, parking was available with no charge and the check in/out process was quite quick. Coffee is complementary all day and the hotel is clean. We would certainly stay at this hotel next time we visit Toronto.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Rooms were clean and smelled fresh. Updating my review. 9/16/2017 Upon waking up I noticed the blankets were pretty worn out with holes and rips in them. The service received is exceptional but the blankets are digusting. Giving a 3 star because they provide the essential. Staff are great but the it seems as if they pay more attention to updating the bathrooms only.

I stay at a lot of hotels for work purposes. Some places I have stayed, feel like home (where you do it all for yourself) and some feel like a spa retreat (where it's all done for you). This place feels like the "Perfect Balance"! Enough to keep me busy so I don't get bored, and energizing enough to power me through the day and into a relaxing evening. If you can't appreciate a stay here, the problem won't lay with the hotel or its staff. Service, Quality & Value are all under one roof!

This hotel is by far one of the best we have ever stayed at. The manager and Julia made our stay great. They go out of there way to please everyone. If anyone is looking for a wonderful hotel please stay here. It's well worth it…

The hotel is under renovation but every effort is made to minimize the impact this has on guests. I would have liked to have been informed of renovations when making my reservation. The renovated room was very nice. Pool area is clean and full of natural light, hotel is just down the road from the Keg Restaurant (make reservations in advance). The breakfast room is small and can be a bit if a wait but the breakfast itself provides lots of options. The breakfast room ladies work hard to keep things moving and everyone fed. Overall, a very nice stay at this hotel.

I've been to many Best Westerns before. This one has to be the worse. The good points are the staff. They are happy and helpful. Another star for the facility itself. While it is undergoing renovations, the condition is still pretty good — no loss of points there. Where this location loses the remaining 3 stars is the breakfast area. It's a total gong show. Not only is the breakfast room exceptionally small but there is also almost no management of the flow of people. On the day we went, we were waiting in a self made line. And after a while a group of newcomers decided they didn't want to wait in the line and cut past those waiting. The issue was mainly the line is not managed, there are no stanchons or barriers advising guests to "Please wait until a table is available". While there are renovations going on it doesn't look like the dining area is being touched. My recommendation to any future guests considering a stay is to try the Holiday Inn Express which is just around the corner.

Very pleasant experience at the hotel. Staff was courteous, friendly and efficient. The hotel overall seemed a bit worn out but they were in the process of doing renovations. A pain free experience that I would recommend and consider going again.

This is the second time staying at this location. The front desk staff were excellent, rooms clean and tidy. Well thought out with a usb charging port at bedside, fresh coffee available 24 hours and a good hot breakfast!

I can't remember the ladies name who was working the front desk friday afternoon but she was the BEST… as was the young lady at night! We will definitely be back and recommending it to everyone.

As a general rule C, is well I have L, impression that will not check pool side C, there is no towel that hangs in the pool or elsewhere or that leaves in the appropriate place. And view that C, is near D, a freeway and some tourist place like the zoo and Aucu employee who speaks French, it's hard. I do not ask that all employees Prle French but who have at least one for each shift can speak French for francophone clientele. Especially those who come from Quebec. At what I saw I'm not the only Quebec who took this hotel.

On July 22/16 we departed from this hotel after a 3 night stay, my son left his wallet with his birthday money in it (I should mention the day we departed and he forgot his wallet it was his ELEVENTH birthday, upon arriving home (6 hours away) we called the hotel and was told the wallet had been found in our room by housekeeping and it was intact, I told the staff his birthday money and savings from several months was in his wallet (roughly 175, plus 3 $1 American bills), I w…as told "don't worry ma'am everything is in the wallet it is intact"… the individual did not have time to take shipping info as he was alone at desk and had other guests in front of him, I called back 3 more times throughout that weekend to arrange shipping and each front desk staff confirmed "oh yes, the wallet is right here"! I did question why it was so accessible as it had cash and they told me it was kept in the list and found drawer… obviously accessible by every staff, finally on Monday a staff had time to make arrangements for shipping and I asked her to take $20 from the wallet and give it to the housekeeper who was honest enough to turn it in… she then informed me that there was only $25 Canadian and 3 $1 American bills… outrageous!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms had recently been redone. Clean, free breakfast and a pool. Good value for they money I'd definitely stay again.

If there was less than 1 star to Post I would have given it. My wife and I are loyal Best Western Customers, it has been our number One Choice on every vacation we made. Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel, changed our outlook on whether or not this franchise will be our choice. The hotel was neglected and run down, the rooms are not well maintained, mold stained walls and broken furniture are just the beginning. Although the place was being remodeled we overlooked the fact about the rooms being geriatric. First day there 08:40 in the morning while clearly we displayed the do not disturb sign, room service decides to knock on our door. Who does that, how can someone be that incompetent to disturb a guest while clearly the card is displayed no to be disturbed, so I politely asked the room service attendant to come back a little later. We leave the room about 10:20. Returned at 9 pm, the room was never serviced. Called the front desk asked why it hasn't been serviced, said they would call back in 15 min, they never called back. Next day we left early to go sightseeing in Toronto, had a wonderful time, came back at about 3 to rest a little so we can go out at night to the club, at about 3:45 loud and continuous bangs and noise started above our room. Construction taking place on Saturday? And at 4pm? While guests are there?

Best Western over all has a very poor management team, The experience at the scarborough location executive inn was miserable. The manager Rizwan and receptionist have very poor communication skills. The owner of this location Jay doesn't care about anything that happens in the hotel. You're just another dollar added to their bank account. Save yourself and do not enter this hotel anywhere in the world!

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. I recommended the hotel to a couple of friends who have already booked a night 2 weeks prior to their stay.

This Best Western Plus Executive Inn located at 38 Estate Dr, Toronto, ON M1H 2Z1 has BUGS! Yes, B-U-G-S! They even know and joke about it. In all our years of staying at a hotel. We have never experienced this… the front desk clerk was aware and even joked about it. Well that's how we were treated! Worst of all, when we contacted the General Manager named Rizwan, he didn't care at all. Said it was our problem! Will definitely never go there again and will tell all my corporate friends about this horrible experience. They claim to have called pest control! BS! What a joke! This hotel is run down. The staff even tell you to go to Holiday Inn! How digusting and poor! The cleaning staff don't report these things. What a terrible hotel. Head Office was contacted and they can't do much because this is a privately owned franchise hotel. Rizwan Adahan, General Manager is a joke to deal with. They only want your money. Who cares if there are BUGS in their beds or rooms. Beware! We speak from our disgusting experience. No refund was offered and instead we were told we should have left and walked to the next door hotel across the street at 1am. We will never return again.

Our room had a blood stain on one of the pillows, walls were very scuffed up and in two separate places it looked like someone had horked snot on to the wall. There was also what looked to be coffee or coke splashed on to the walls. There was a heavy marble sill located between the beds and the couch that fell and almost hurt a child after another child leaned up against it. The air/heating unit was very dirty. We did tell the manager who did get us a new room down the hall and to be honest was quite pleasant about it which is the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. Our new room was a lot cleaner but not up to y low standard with garbage such as a used coffee cup located in plain view beside the TV. How does the cleaning staff not see this? The shower barely drained, accumulating 2 inches of water while you showered. My wife was brave enough to pull the drain and it was full of hair which clearly hasn't been cleaned in a long time. The smell of marijuana reeked through the halls the second night. Breakfast was alright except for when my daughter asked what the green part of her English Muffin was… It was mold. I guess they don't need to try when you are that close to the Zoo.

A very disappointing stay at the best Western in Scarborough. The room was not very clean and the towles, bath mat, and bed cover all had stains on them. The condition of the mattress, which had a massive 4 inch wide bump that extended the length of the mattress from head to foot, was completely unacceptable. We complained to the front desk but I doubt that it was replaced. A bump like that does not form overnight so I'm sure it was there for quite some time. The morning breakfast was compareable to others that offer the breakfast but get there before 8 as there was a huge lineup and no place to sit. As we were checking out we overheard the General Manager tell one guest that all the meeting rooms were booked so he had no place for everyone to sit to eat. Housekeeping staff seemed perturbed that we requested additional towels (as we only had 3 towels for 4 people and one of them had a bad stain on it). The front desk staff were very nice and easy to deal with. The location was great as we were heading to the Toronto zoo and it is close to the 401 so made travel easy. However, there are other hotels in the same area. This was the second time where we had issues with the franchise so we will not be staying at a BW again.

Absolutely not impressed! Stayed one night asked the desk clear to exchange money since they except both currencies, and the gentlemen was completely rude, did not want to any money American or Canadian then gave us $17.00 Canadian for every US $20.00, (I know dumb me for not knowing the exchange rate) when getting to TD Bank in the morning they explained that for every US $20.00 we should be getting $24.00 Canadian and the desk man had ripped us off. I called to make a complaint and was told the supervisor would return our call. He never did. SO this is not a good place for people, unexceptionable!

My family and I met with our other family members at this hotel and we had a great time. Staff was nice. I would go back again.

My family just stayed here for one night this past weekend and we were impressed with this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was clean and fairly spacious for having two queen beds and a sofa bed. The whole hotel seemed very well looked after. The pool area was clean and the staff made sure there were enough towels. The breakfast was delightfully more than we anticipated for an inclusion and it was quality food. The Scarborough Town Centre is just a few minutes away and the Toronto Zoo (the purpose of our trip) is also very close and easy to get to. This was a most enjoyable weekend which I would repeat without hesitation.

Quite pleased with service, though I feel like the staff at reception could still be a bit more friendly. Still courteous though, and managed to find us a room even though we arrived before check-in hours. The night was shockingly quiet, considering how close we were to the 401 (it is barely 2 minutes away by car once you get off the 401). Room was clean, bathroom could have been a bit better. The shower faucet shoots water in odd directions including your face, and I had to turn the dial almost all the way to "hot" just for some lukewarm water. We also had some issues with the TV remote. It worked fine when we did an inspection of our room, but after returning from some shopping some time later, we couldn't change channels using the remote! We called for assistance and the dispatched employee was fantastic! He wasn't able to fix the remote, but he expressed understanding and apologized for not being able to solve the problem, and he tried to humor us (which we all appreciate and enjoyed). Out of all the employees in Best Western, he stood out the most, and wonderfully so. Kudos to him for handling an unfixable problem like that. Recommended to everyone especially for families (reserve a room with a sofabed).

We have stayed at this Best Western well over 150 times. Management and customer service have always been very polite, accommodating, and made every effort to ensure that our stay was pleasant. Rooms have always been clean and well kept; free breakfast is a nice touch; pool is nice; location is very convenient to the 401 (yet quiet). I have always been impressed with this hotel and will continue to book it for our employees' visits to Toronto.

I had a very bad experience in this Hotel. Currently they offer a "free night when stay three separate times". I inquiry the front desk if I can get a" free night voucher"after my third stay at this Hotel in June. That lady said NO because I tricked BEST WESTERN. How can they treat guests like that?! So my suggestion is stay away from this Hotel in case of you tricking them. If you stay in this Hotel they will think you are tricking them.

Excellent hotel, clean, pretty new. Full breakfast and free Internet; it makes it worth the price. We went to the Toronto Zoo and Ontario Science Centre, the hotel is located within 15 km drive, so I cannot imagine a better spot. You can see 401 highway from your window, but it is not noisy. And the swimming pool is so nice, my daughter wanted to go there three times a day. I would just add some kids stuff to play, and the place would be perfect. By the way, we ordered food (many take outs around), there is a microwave to warm up the leftovers, so all in all it was very economical to stay there.

We have stayed in many best Western's and this one has been very disappointing. First off the cleaning staff were not very pleasant. My youngest son took them our recycling from our room to empty it and the were very upset that he had done this. The staff member who looked after the morning breakfast nook was very pushy and hovered over us. The morning we left we were pushed out od our room an hour before check out. We were unable to have breakfast because we were asked to leave our room, to and the non was filled so we had no where to eat. There were no clean towels in the pool room. We will never stay at this hotel again.
