I love coming to Quesnel and I always stay at the Super 8. They always accommodate me. They allow pets and I have a smoking room, but areas to sit outside and an area for the dog. The owner even helps me with my bags. The Ginza restaurant is absolutely fabulous. Thank you Quesnel Super8. See you again soon.

The room had a queen bed, a sofa, a little kitchenette with microwave coffee maker and Fridge. Also iron and iron board. Big screen TV and a desk. An extra blanket very warm. Pillows super soft. I slept like a baby but what I loved most was the separate thermostat in the washroom for the inside heater. The owner was super friendly and efficient. They also have a computer desk in the office that you can use if, like me, have to print documents. All this for a very reasonable price I recommend it. Always Super 8. Quality. Service. Price.

Felt like I was surrounded by hookers and drug dealers. Within the first 5 minutes there were police knocking on our neighbors door and later we found a dead mouse a few feet from our door. Very unsanitary. As we were about to go to bed there was heavy traffic through a room across the parking lot and a hooker got dropped off to the same room. I would highly advise staying anywhere else.

Don't. Just don't stay here. I would rather sleep in the parking lot. The owner/manager is extremely rude and don't right an ass to the guests. The rooms are a joke. They are stinky, dirty, non vacuumed. The beds are uncomfortable and full of bed bugs! Trust me don't waste your money at this dice!

Reasonable for what it is. Breakfast is decent. Price is good.

It's a Super 8 motel. Your standards should be set at motel level. But it was pretty clean. My room had had two twin beds. One had dead bugs in it and the other was clean. The bathroom is clean. Lots of parking. The best part was the restaurant connected, Ichibang I think it was called. Nice inside and cheap good food.

One night stay. Bed was extremely comfortable and very clean and room was renovated recently. Manager friendly. The big disappointment was that our room was a NO SMOKING room, maybe they all are, but everyone is sitting just outside their front door smoking! The night we stayed some yahoo right next door was puffin on a pipe. Will not stay here again, that is for sure. Owner needs to s t r I c t l y enforce a NO SMOKING ON PROPERTY rule, or at least WITHIN 50 FEET of BUILDINGS. : (

We stayed here during the wildfire evacuation order as we were visiting the Cariboo from out of town and had no place to go. The rooms were good (comfortable/clean beds, very hot water, lots of kids' TV channels), the nearby empty lot and field were perfect for playing games with kids and dog (respectively), and the continental breakfast saved us $ as didn't need to go out to eat each morning. But, what was really memorable about the motel was the owners. To say they were accommodating would be an understatement. They were super understanding about a stressed out dog who was acting a bit strange, they responded right away to any questions/requests and they even made us feel a bit at home, one day bringing us delicious Korean style vegetable pancakes to eat, and another day bringing a yummy birthday cake for our (now) 7 year old's big day. They were an extremely nice surprise in an otherwise challenging 10 days.

Terrible management. Booked a room through an online service, arrived for our reservation, and was refused, because the manger said the online rate was too low. The list their property on line, yet then refuse to honour the rates provided; unacceptable. On the plus side, the lobby smelled like something died, so I'm glad to be going someplace better… pretty much anything else you could find would be better.

This place is decent. The room was clean on entrance. No bug problems, no forgotten housekeeping. The free Continental breakfast is pleasant and the staff are accommodating even if they don't say much. If you are the keep to yourself type, this place is good. If you have kids, they only have the two queen beds option. There is no room for a cot. Make sure you are clear on how many are in the room for bathroom items.

I had such a bizarre negative experience with this business that I felt obligated to share it. I actually did not stay at the motel because of extraordinary circumstances: I was forced to dramatically change my plans because of an extended 75+ km closure (due to flooding) of Highway 97, the only route through northern BC. I had booked a reservation through a third party website and so did not expect the motel to issue a refund. But I called them anyway as a courtesy so that they could reassign the room to another customer. Motel staff said they could not refund the room because it was booked through an outside party (as expected) but suggested I call the travel website support. Website support was understanding of the unusual situation and offered a full refund. Apparently however, credit card billing was handled by the motel location, so support put me on hold to call the motel manager/owner to complete the refund. The website representative afterwards apologized that the owner refused to refund the charge and then hung up on the representative. It was very surprising that the third party booking agent (located in Florida) was much more understanding of the situation than local management. A very unusual situation, but may be indicative of this location's attitude toward customers.

Traveling through and needed a bed n shower for the night. I checked online from a travel app for availability and pricing. Desk clerk was the owner who is not local or friendly. He did not honor the pricing that online advertised. When saying he wouldn't take an online booking we paid higher rate at the lobby only to see the price drop sharply online at 22:00 which wasn't mentioned either. Bad vibes. The room was standard for a super 8.

They had this bizarre pet policy where your pet isn't allowed on the bed. Which isn't possible for me cause my tiny 5 lbs chihuahua sleeps with me and would have spent the entire night crying had I forced her to stay off the bed. The room was clean but was something out of the 80s and the bathroom was very worn. Lots of paint worn off the tub and the showerhead was very calcified. The continental breakfast was very small. I stayed at the super 8 in William's lake a week earlier and that one was much better.

Made a reservation 7 hrs before getting there. Payed for the room, the guys says hold on a few mins I have to go turn the heat on in the room. You would think that they woulda turned the Heat on Atleast 1hr before I got there, it's 3 above outside. Once I opened the door it looked like I went back in time 25 years. I guess it would do in a pinch. Or if it was summer.

I tried to book online with my phone. The wyndham rewards web site gave me one rate but when I went to check in they wouldnt honour it. Even after I showed him the site showing the rate he charged me $15 more than the reservation said.
