There isn't a large enough sign on location. Sign is quite small. You will pass the hotel without noticing it. Room was a bit smelly and needs some renovation quite old. Room is quite small and not as cozy. No fridge in the room. The staff were polite and professional. However central location can easily walk to the mall and other amenities.

Clean. Good internet. Parking is underground. Paid.

Although the process check in/parking is a little unusual compare to what I am used to, the fact that the staff is very welcoming and it has hot water (very hot) with a very good water pressure is making up for it. The hotel was very clean and again, the staff is very nice, one of the key element in my book. There is a Tim Horton right accross the street and many other nice restaurant. Would book again with them if I needed a room around this area.

Good location overall and if you want to save money when in Edmonton for a weekend. Getting inside the parking area is a challenge initially where you need to go inside before the gate is raised. Some of the staff are very professional and polite however there was a very condescending older lady who snapped at every question. Rooms are standard however no refrigerators and ice machines are only on two floors. Elevators seem slow and in need of service based on the loud noises and shifting. If you just need a place to stay for a couple days this place will do fine.

Stayed for 3 nights while in town for work. The staff were friendly, helpful and the rooms were clean and organized. The beds are comfortable and soft and the hotel itself was quiet. I would stay here again for the convenience of the location and the simplicity of the stay.

For the price it is well worth it! Hotel is clean, staff are friendly, my room had a microwave and a fridge. Parking is not free and I drive a larger truck that did not fit in the underground parking so I had to park across the street in a city lot and pay even more!

Excellent service, great staff and clean rooms. I was traveling by myself and the staff were great to call up to the room to ensure that I did order food. So it was a nice safe hotel for female travellers. The rooms are a bit retro but it doesn’t matter. Bed is huge and comfy and there were so many pillows. Loved it. My only beef was with the shower — it was a bit wonky and if you weren’t careful you’d get scalded lol.

Great place to stay. Clean rooms awesome staff. Came at a moments notice when we couldn't figure out the tv. Would definatly stay again. Good location.

The hotel was really clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, walking distance from a lot of places downtown. There is no restaurant for breakfast but there is a Tim Hortons 2 minutes away.

Tried to make a booking, front desk did not speak English. Sent an email regarding a conversation I wanted to have. I did not get any reply. I had to send another email saying I was going to cancel my reservation. I didn't get called back by the accounting department basically telling me I cannot book a room. I live in Osoyoos, BC and I'm guessing the hotel industry here is a little bit different than Downtown Edmonton LOL either way, changing my travel plans and spending most of my time in Calgary. Very disappointing experience.

Room was just satisfactory with a floor plan that made little sense (TV located on entry side of bed). Wouldn't want to stay the night.

Check in was easy, and the front desk staff was very friendly. The hotel room was clean, with adequate lighting and more than enough pillows. There was also coffee in the room. The only downside to this hotel is that there is no free parking, as it costs you $15 to use the parkade. Overall a very good experience.

Nice hotel but it could use a facelift to the room, Parking is $15 extra I will stay here again if I come for another hockey game it was close to the arena and the restaurants and pubs are plentiful.

Me and my friends stayed there last weekend in a joining room. My friend's room got extra $50 charged because there was popcorn on the carpet when we checked out. Anyways we knew it was a bit messy so that's why we left $20 tip for the housekeeper and note saying sorry for the mess. We call them to find out why we got charged. The lady was mean on the phone and told us they had to shampoo the carpet… and we should be happy because they could of charge us more. I think it's ridiculous it was just POPCORN, not red wine or anything super sticky… I won't recommend this place to anyone unless if you want to be ripped off.

Very helpful staff. Only a ten to 15 minute walk from the Shaw Conference Centre. Comfortable rooms in the downtown of Edmonton.

Rooms are simple but clean and nice. Staff is great. The decor of the place has been improved quite a bit and the elevator has been modernized which is awesome. The parking is good but dont expect a truck to fit, its fairly compact.

This place is a joke. We checked in before the game tonight expecting to be able to take a shower. We had come from the water park expecting to use the water that is provided from a hotel to find out that there is no hot water. They didn’t tell us at check in and when we asked about it by calling down 5 minutes after check in they told us the water was out. They informed us that they found out 30 minutes prior and didn’t TELL us! This would have been helpful to have known at check in so we could have at least attempted to make a different plan. We understand that issues arise, but inform your guests so the can make other plans! We don’t have time to wait to take a shower and still get to the game. We asked about a refund and were told no. This place is a sketchy place and I would not recommend staying here. Ever.

So me and my partner stayed 3 nights at the hotel. My partner had booked at the front desk and referred to his phone where online the price was 81.00 a night while they quote 119.00 the front clerk said that they could honour the price and it would reflect on the bill once we checked out. It didn't. So we tried to talk the the manager. Twice and now she is avoiding my calls and requesting to talk to her. Her staff say they will give her my message unsure if she gets them or she really is never there. But now they have charged us and we can never get a hold of her. Horrible service, disrespectful staff completely disappointed. Don't worry I will be contacting your superior.

My French is bad but the hotel is very bin for the cost of one night. The staff are very professional and we Avon the sense of being welcome.

It was a clean motel and nicely sized. My parents stayed for two nights and I visited their room and felt it was well kept.

Overall not bad hotel experience. Rooms are spacious enough, hotel is reasonably priced and located downtown which is very convenient. Has all the amenities you'll need to stay the night comfortably, including free Wi-Fi.

Good value for the money. Great location. Don't expect anything fancy, no frills for sure.

Great service with nice well kept rooms. A little annoying having to have a card to use the elevator but then again that really helps to stop non guests from making disturbances around the hotel.

Location is perfect for downtown. Rooms are nice and clean. The hot water takes forever to get hot and the TV is not in HD. There is a notice that it's changing.

They charged us an additional $150. $100 for a security deposit that can only be paid on a credit card. And $50 to park for the weekend. All of which was never discussed when the rooms were booked. As well they threatened to charge us for extra guests even though we booked a room with 2 queen beds! The front desk staff was rude and completely condescending towards us while we tried to scrape some more cash together since none of us get paid until tomorrow.

Clearly a dated facility but the rooms are clean and service is courteous. Amenities are very basic, the one elevator is ancient, and Wi-Fi is hit and miss. The only available outlet is in the bathroom, need more and you'll find yourself unplugging an old coffee maker, lamp or clock radio. On-site restaurant has been closed for renovations since October 2015 per front desk staff. Plan ahead and consider an alternate if you're staying for any length of time.

It is okey! Beds are clean but hallways are like 2 stars. The room was cold. It had mentioned free Wi-Fi free parking in Expedia but charged me $15/ night for parking. The hotel is cheap, but nice people at the front desk.

From my friends room, I could see broken glass from vehicles windows that had been smashed out. The hallways are in desperate need of renovation and are outdated. The rooms themselves were fairly nice, clean and comfortable.

Not worth it, need to spend $15 for parking and no free breakfast. Slow Wi-Fi connection and the room is old. The building needs to be renovated. Elevator is garbage, I'm NOT coming back. Go spend more in a nicer hotel. Good thing we just stayed for a night.

Richard the GSA was great to work with on the phone for booking our room. After that some terrible room floor directional signage left me confused on floor 3. Bed was OK, pillows were soft but too soft for me. Elevator was a little sketchy. It worked but is old and tattered and left us always wondering if it was going to work.

Staff are really rude, cleaning could be improved (dirty) and housekeeping are stealing. Really bad place to stay. I left and I rather pay 30$ extra to stay at a NICE and CLEAN hotel downtown. Bad area full of drug dealers and drug addict. Be careful. Also, if they give away your room during the night they will let you know by noon that you have to leave or they will charge you 70$ extra for a late checkout. I would AVOID this hotel. Elevator is crappy. You never know if you are gonna get stuck in here…

Reasonable for the cost. Hotel is clean and good service; however, lacks everything but a treadmill and guest computer.

We stayed here Dec. 7 for two nights and found our room very clean and comfortable beds, the elevator wasn't working but we are able to use the stairs, parking is convenient and this hotel is in an excellent location. Yes we would stay here again.

Not a fan. Not even that cheap even tho they don't got an elevator. No pop machines! ¿¿¿ Not a fan of the bathroom, also no fan in there. They should consider free parking. Only good thing is check-out is at noon. I gave 2 stars then they told me no pop machine then it got a one star cause I gotta go walk somewhere to get a drink. Never coming back again, if I get stabbed walking to a store I'll prob go to holiday inn express.

The single elevator broke and they crammed the guests onto one floor. Outdated decor and the key coder wasnt working. Had to walk up and down the stairs at lesst 3 times … wiyj my luggage in tow. But for the price it was to be expected. The staff were friendly the rooms were comortabLe. It was quiet at night and centrally located right downtown. Can point their opportunities to improve but the value for your hard earned cash is there.

By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had, and I am constantly staying in hotels for work. I was called at 7 on the day of my reservation to say that my room was going to be given away (who checks in before 7, I mea I could understand if it was midnight and I hadn't checked in), I had to prepay over the phone with my credit card when I had already reserved online, the lady "Ute" at the front desk was insanely rude to me, not only about my reservation but again when I checked in at the from desk. I was here for work and have never been treated so rudely at a business in my life. She then also proceeded to nickel and dime me adding $190 in charges to the rooms I booked. Like someone already said, I could have stayed at a nicer hotel for the same price.

Awful. Rude staff. Cancelled my reservation without me knowing and then loudly assumed it was a credit card issue. Parking not included. I do not recommend.

Created gmail account to write a review. I just tried booking a room for my son. They wouldnt accept my credit card nor will they book a room b/c he doesnt have a credit card. Debit card works just as good. They just lost my business. Very disappointed!

Bed was advertised as queen size but was obviously not. The only pluses were its proximity to the mall and the pillows.

Carpet was worn out, bed was springy and morning staff didn't want to bring me extra coffee so they asked me to come down to get it. There are better hotels for the same price out there. Only four towels and some sort of rag they wanted me to reuse in a zip lock bag, ewwwww. If you stay there you will find out what I'm talking about.

I recently stayed here for several nights. I made an online reservation for $90/night. Upon check out we were charged $190/night. (We could have stayed at the Westin for that price. ) At no point did they notify us of the price increase. Additionally, on several occasions the staff was incredibly rude to us. I've stayed in many hotels and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Beware.

Came here last weekend with some friends up from Quebec. Had quite a bit of difficulty communicating with the guy at front desk (extremely broken English, and I don't speak Mandarin) but fortunately there was a housekeeper who was able to speak fluent French and he was able to direct us to the nearest pub! 4/5.

Absolutely horrible experience. Booked a reservation with them via phone, and made sure to specify we would pay with debit once there and that that would be okay. We left our credit info with them so they had it on file, but they reassured us that they would accommodate. We took at 16 hour Greyhound, and once we finally got there, they told us we could not have the room as our credit card did not work. We explained they told us we could pay with debit, but they refused and told us we couldn't. The one woman at least tried to help, called around to a few hotels, but none accepted debit either (which is expected. Which is why we made sure it would be okay beforehand). So because they wouldn't accept anything but credit, we took our money we wanted to give them, and spent it on a plane home, instead. Thanks to Days Inn, my very first vacation was ruined, my birthday was ruined, and I didn't get to see my best friend whom I hadn't seen in years. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel after our experience with them.

Really can't even reserve or check in to the hotel without a credit card? When will you people realize that a pre paid credit card or a debit card is actually just as good, if not better than paying on the never never? In order for a payment authorization to be approved on pre paids and debit cards you actually have to HAVE the money.
