Value based hotel that does it well. Have stayed twice in a juzzuci room and enjoyed the experience. Accommodating and close to Whyte Ave.

It was alright, room was clean, bed was fine, would have preferred different, maybe more firm pillows. Location is decently close to Whyte Ave so if you're planning on hanging out in that area, this hotel is a good option. No cups/glasses in the bathroom which was kind of odd.

Pretty good. Stayed here a few different times. Good location, close to Whyte Ave. Average for a hotel. Front desk staff we good. They were nice and allowed a really late checkout since we got in really late.

Clean and comfy. Good value with friendly staff.

Good budget place. Close to major roads but no noise I noticed. Very clean. Quiet. Nice staff.

Decent service at a reasonable price. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Thin walls though, like you'd expect from most hotels, and the lady at the front wasnt the friendliest.

Stayed here for a night and it was alright. Just your standard hotel room. It is kind of weird how the mini fridge is unplugged to begin with, and that people are allowed to slip pizza advertisements under the doors. The staff are friendly and the breakfast area is an adequate size. Very clean hotel!

We were impressed with the cost of this hotel, close by the university if one needs their health services. The breakfast is complete, with the usual warm and cold items. The children might enjoy the automated pancake baker, which produces 1 or 2 pancakes with a push of the button. I was totally impressed with the proprietary power centre (see picture) for regular plugins and USB. They are certainly ahead of the pack as more people have multiple devices with them.

I have stayed here several times in the past but things have gotten progressively worse. We use a corporate account with direct billing. Every time I am there I am teaching the staff how direct billing works as well as getting them to fix the amount being billed. (We have an agreed upon discount but they constantly are charging more) This last trip will be my last one with them. I called to book, as I always do, but they wouldn’t accept me making the booking and wanted someone from the “office” to call and book. I am the Alberta office. I kid you not, the hotel manager wanted me to call my assistant at home (the office is closed) and have her call in from the “office” and book the hotel room for me (the regional manager) because I wasn’t allowed to book myself. (My name approved on the account) Frustrated, I played along to get a room for the night and had the manager of the Saskatchewan Branch call in from his vacation with the family in Fernie. (Because I cannot book my own stay, as the regional manager) Two hours later I drive into town only to find out that the room that the “office” called in for and booked was given away because, I kid you not, “there was a walk in”. So if you A. Go through the hassle of setting up a business account and then B. Go through the hassle of having the “office” call in and book you a room because you are not allowed to do it yourself, you still have diddly squat because a walk in gets first priority.

The meillieur thing about the hotel Days Inn Edmonton South is that it is close to Whyte Ave, the destination of party in Edmonton. It's a walk of only 5 minutes. The hotel is Pa's pure, come this come CA, but I'll have many other hotel which its meillieur in Edmonton. Say it, the rooms and employees its acceptable and I have no complaint.

Love staying at Days Inn South just know the staff makes so much easier. Love the hospitality and the service. Always good to see a familiar face. Thanks to Lai for always making me feel at home and comfy.

Basic but clean and adequate. Friendly staff and free parking. Good value and convenient central location.

First let me say I have stayed at the days inn many times with very little issues but today I am mad as blazes and won't EVER bother with this hotel chain again. My daugher is at the Stollery with my grandson and was given this place as a more afforadable room since she is also sick and cant stay at the Ronald MacDonald house. They wouldnt accept my credit card online or via email unless I could sign it, nor was there a manager on site I could talk to. Just a front clerk that couldnt speak english. Believe me when I say this is the worst I have had to deal with. I book rooms online with my card all the time and sign nothing! will NEVER stay here and will tell Everyone who wants to listen not to either!

The hotel was surprisingly well decorated and clean for such an inexpensive place to stay the night. Unfortunately the bed is not as comfortable as I like and as a result I did not get a very good sleep. But, the free breakfast was pretty decent and the breakfast nook area was a really nice place to sit and read the newspaper and drink my coffee. All in all, for what you’re paying for accommodations it is surprisingly nice.

Stayed four nights in Jacuzzi suite. A number of minor issues prevent me from giving a better score. Jacuzzi suite overpriced by 15-20% based on several other comparable suites we have been to in the last couple of years. Staff are great, facilities well taken care of. Breakfast and gratuities appreciated. Location is eccellent. Overall, a bit disappointed in the price for the aesthetics and comfort compared to simular. Again, several small issues, nothing major.

Good service. Nice late breakfast (10am). Respectful room service folks. Free parking. Close to Tim Hortons and other amenities. Great if you want to stay on Whyte without paying Whyte prices.

The days inn on university ave saved me and my friends. We came to edmonton to visit a friend, sadly she abandoned us and left us on the streets of whyte ave. We booked this hotel last minute. They were super accommodating to our needs. They let us check in at 12:30, let us check out late and helped us with an airport shuttle as well as storing our luggage for 7 hours. The breakfast was so delicious offering a wide range of foods. The lobby water was great as well as the cookies. Great size room with large beds. Blankets were kinda thing but held the heat very nicely in the night. The shower head was amzing with multiple settings and height adjustment. Where they really outdid themselves was the amazing staff. They really deserve the awards that they have.

So nice! Employees are so friendly! Room is very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Fluffy white towels good coffee what more could you ask for!

Staff was courteous, check in and out were easy and flawless. It was good security as we had to use our room key to get in after 10pm. Breakfast was good too.

Rented the Jacuzzi suite, it was clean and the staff was very welcoming. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi. The continental breakfast was good, but limited options. I appreciated the availability of almond milk.

This is a good budget hotel. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The room had all the usual amenities, good coffee and good pressure in the shower. Cable television had a good selection of channels. Mattress was very firm but there was a choice of pillows. Air-conditioning was excellent and we were comfortable.

A basic and clean hotel. Gets 5 stars for it's category. Rooms and carpets are up to date. No restaurant however it is located near many as well as coffee shops. Staff is friendly, children welcomed, free parking and patrolled by security. Only thing missing is a pool.

Okay. A place to sleep. The breakfast was mieu than normal.

It is kinda of sketchy and in a bad area but the rooms seem nice enough. Also the internet had problems our first night.

I love how they can accommodate so many ristrictions for custumers/patients/clients at even last minute and very friendly service!

I have stayed here many times, largely due to its location. Each time I have stayed here the staff has been friendly and helpful and the hotel appeared quite clean. Honestly, I haven't considered staying elsewhere because the gamble isn't worth it. This establishment consistently meets my standards and is reasonably priced so taking a chance and staying somewhere else just isn't worth it. It doesn't blow me away with quality, but it is exactly what I'd expect for its price.

Good basic accommodation. Laundry, gym, hot basic breakfast. Rooms are OK. Price can a bit high.

I used to stay here, at least 6x per year, and everything was great. Now they switched to the cheapest toilet paper on the market (you know the stuff — lower grade than Dollarama) Anyways, this one cost cutting measure will cause me to book elsewhere.

Our stay was pretty great, we only stayed overnight while we visited a friend but they were very accommodating.

Convenient location, well priced, and very personable staff. Breakfast was good value with some hot items included.

Very close to Whyte which is why we chose it. Continental breakfast is very good. Parking lot security through the night is very comforting. Parking is included in the price and Wi-Fi and the breakfast. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable great prices and staff will prompt you for any memberships that will save a few dollars instead of you having to ask after each one. Very friendly and accommodating staff. So far great experience (still have to check out ;-) ). Great find, it is closer to Whyte then it looks on the map.

Great clean room. Having a fridge with an infant was a huge help. Staff are amazing! Continental breakfast was great! Would highly recommend the Days Inn. Have special rates through the Ronald McDonald house which helped with the cost of coming to Edmonton. Will be back.

Staff were friendly. All you can ask for in a budget hotel.

Staff were plesant and nice. Elevator smellled of Marijuana and the place was understaffed. Beds were hard and a bedding cover/sheet was horribly thin.

Good Clean hotel, friendly staff and good service, but my car and at least one other was broken into during the night. I reported it to staff but they weren't really interested, apparantly it happens all the time, so my question is why they don't warn customers about the break ins or at least put up security cameras to deter criminals.
