Great location. Also it has the full range of fox tv.

Good clean accommodation. Two room apartment has 2 bathrooms and a seperate toliet and handbasin. Good city accommodation. Highly recommended.

We stayed in apartment 308. Magnificent location right in the heart of Brisbane. 10 steps away from everything! (But no great view of the city). If you want a balcony, you will have to request one. Apartment was spacious, well appointed, and beds were clean and comfy, but prospective guests need to keep in mind that this is a heritage building, and as such, is a little tired. If you want modern swank, you will be dissappointed. Honestly though, the location is unbeatable. Friendly helpful hosts too. Many thanks.

Booked McArthur Chambers as it was central to CBD and offered an opportunity to stay in an older building with some Brisbane history. Room presentation was okay although unusually strong smell of moth balls welcomed us. Price for two nights also competitve although they seriously need to revisit the quality of their beds. IIf they wish to welcome repeat visitors. So cheap and low quality spec. Bathroom counters, coffee table tops painted wall surfaces need better attentiom to clean. Too much mold spots on bedroom walls, dust build up on door sills.

Really disappointing. Just made a booking through Wotif for one nights accommodation for 4 people. All went through without a hitch only to be called by a booking agent that Macarthur Chambers declined the booking because it isn't for two nights… despite the fact it was listed on Wotif for just one. Now I have to wait for my money to be refunded. Really bad business!

Apartment was filthy, extremely dusty carpets were smelly & stained. Food crumbs covered the lounge suit. Lift was broken & staff couldn't careless, car parking is a nightmare. Great location is the only positive. We won't be back.

Beautiful hotel that is close to everything you could possibly need. Rooms are pricey but great for a mini holiday.

Scabies! My husband and I got scabies from this hotel! Unsure why Google has deleted my review stating so. Awful awful awful! These rooms are nowhere near the standard in the photos. After being told that our card number was used as bond on arrival we were told we had to put a $300 hold on our card. This was a big mistake, we should have checked the room first. It was absolutely filthy, the white skirting boards were black from dust and grime, you could scrap the grime off the bathroom counter and shower, there was hair dust and grime all through the apartment, the furniture was stained, It smelled strongly of rubbish and rotten food, could not change aircon from 21° so it was constantly cold. When my husband called reception to say we were not happy staying in this room the woman screamed down the phone "owel" "owel" "yeah, so… what do you want me to do about it" we asked for a clean. We got a 3 second vacuum in the lounge. Pool was stangnent, cold, and smelled. All staff ignored us from then until we checked out. Great location but not worth the money by a long shot. Were still waiting for our bond back. Filthy, rude, sneaky, rip off.

I am so disgusted in your hotel… my 60 yr old mother went to check in today, she was asked for a $300 deposit via credit card which would be refunded in 10 days! Why 10 days I don't know, my mum doesn't have a credit card but offered the 300 in cash until they checked out, after speaking to a manager you guys allowed this and then after she went and withdrew the cash from her savings account when she got back to the check in counter you told her that you wanted her to leave! She has had 3 heart attacks, is on medication, she was finally feeling well enough to have a night with her sister to relax and you guys asked her to leave all because she doesn't have a credit card! absolutely disgusting! What kind of damage would my 60 yr old mum and her sister do! I am telling you right now you have not heard the last from me!

Beautiful apartments in central Brisbane perfect for those staying more than a few days to feel like a home rather than a boring hotel. After hours arrival was complicated but it worked!

Room was pretty good, high ceilings, ok decor.
Service not perfect. Requests were not met but were quickly rectified.
Biggest issue was getting car parked picking up key and working out how and where to park. Instructions were substandard and confusing.

Excellent location at the end of the Mall, directly above the Apple Store. Woolworths, BWS, Big W all located in MacArthur Central shopping centre next door which includes an extensive food court. Apartments are luxuriously appointed and parking is available.

So central, this location cant be beat, makes walking around brisbane city easy. Yes its old but price is very suitable, shopping so close and so good.

This place is the worse hotel I have ever visited. I regularly visit Brisbane on business and leisure trip and this hotel is no where close to the hotels I have visited. Their service was tribble, the Internet correction was poor, and the view of my apartment was soo bad it made feel like I was back at work.

Stayed with my Husband in a beautifully spacious apartment. Everything we needed to have a "home away from home". Did some serious shopping without having to use transport! Will definitely come again.

Have stayed here on business a few times now, the first time was purely luck as they were the most reasonably priced option when Brisbane was running low on accommodation options. Every apartment is different so they do vary in size, but even the smallest apartments are still larger than you would receive in most hotel chain style apartments, with each unit containing a living/dining area with fully equipped and open style kitchen, a separate laundry and spacious bathrooms what more could you want? I’ve found the apartments to be perfect for travelling on my own or with a colleague as the 2 bedroom apartments have 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. You can walk everywhere, shops & restaurants within 5 minutes walk, is an excellent place to stay, I can and do recommend it to everyone!

Had a great stay here, location is unbeatable! In the middle of Brisbane with a supermarket and baker right next door. The1 Bedroom Apartments are great for single travelleres or couples as their large enough not to get in each others way. It had a kitchen, living room, great bedroom with ensuite and marble in all the bathrooms. It is really an apartment rather than a hotel, even with a pool and gym facilities, but they're quite small facilities. Definately a great apartment option in Brisbane.

As a special treat for my daughter who was to be married one Saturday last December, I booked a Penthouse suite as an extra special place to spend the night before the wedding and use the next morning there as a venue where the makeup artist and hairdresser could come to get us ready for the wedding. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! We were only there for 5 minutes when we discovered the airconditioner was broken, and it was set to be the hottest weekend of the year. We tried to phone reception but the phone was missing — it had been removed from the wall! After much complaining someone came to look at the aircon only to tell us there was nothing that could be done. Being the hottest day Brisbane had had for ages, our sleep was terrible that night when we all really needed a decent night in preparation for the special day ahead. We also had to go out and buy insect spray, because there were ants everywhere as the kitchen had crumbs on the benches and in the drawers. Reception promised a cleaner would come to fix the problem, but no-one came! The wedding preparations were extemely unpleasant the next morning as we were having makeup done on hot sweaty faces, and heavily perspiring in our wedding outfits!. We talked to the staff many times, but no-one really seemed to care, and the manager was never available. Unfotunately we paid for the penthouse on arrival, before inspecting the rooms. NEVER do that!.
