Staffs are so warm-hearted and helpful. The place is good.

Back after few years, it changed. Staffs are helpful. Need renovate a bit.

Had an amazing stay, staff helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was also great. Would definately reccomend.

First of all, it must be mentioned that the hotel's staff are super nice and helpful. There was therefore no shortage of service. Unfortunately, the rooms are quite old and the furniture seems to be worn out. Outlets sometimes don't work. In addition, the rooms were very light hearing … Every morning we were woken by the staff that prepared breakfast, because you could just hear everyone trampling and clearing. The breakfast was quite okay. Next time I would try another hotel or avoid the city right away — is not particularly worth seeing in my opinion.

This is a hotel that is comfortable, with a very friendly staff, but it has its issues. Things like: smelly lobby, air conditioners that need maintenance, dust bunnies behind beds, mattresses in staircases upon our arrival… That being said, this is not a hole in the wall, and the service here is by far the best I have ever experienced. Staff went out of their way to please us and keep us happy with gestures like offering tea, coffee and drinks whenever we came home for the night, allowing us to order extra food from the breakfast menu each morning, free of charge, pulling our luggage for us when they found us walking a block away from the hotel, and after hearing our constructive criticism about the hotel at the end of our stay, they even offered a free ride to the airport for us to show us how sad they were that they didn't meet our expectations. They also promised to work on their shortcomings. The staff treatment alone is why I give this hotel 4 stars. If you value service and want a welcoming atmosphere, this is a good place to stay. I hope they work on fixing the issues that we noticed though, because for the price, we expect a lot more.

This hotel has amazing staff who make their guests feel like FAMILY. The staff and the manager Ms Hannah go out of their way to make the guest feel at home.
The moment we stepped in, the staff came running towards the car to carry our luggage and other belongings. We could immediately feel the warmth!
Some of the staffs went out of their way to accompany us to mini marts to help us buy basic things.
Our stay for 8 days was very well organised and coordinated.
We went to Halong Bay for cruise experience for 2 days and Sapa for mountain trekking for another 2 days.
During such periods our big suitcases and other belongings were safely kept by the hotel in their store room.
The friendly staff dropped and picked us up lovingly from the railway station.
Our 2 grown up kids felt at home. I would like to thank Ms Hannah and her team once again for treating us like family.

Sorry to be talking about something else, but I thought the small juice and smoothie place opposite the hotel is great. Reasonable prices and great taste. It's all freshly squeezed so if you order more cups, it's a bit of a wait as there's only one person serving there. Worth the wait though.

Worth visiting again and again!

We have been travelling for over 16 months now throughout Asia. This little gem of a hotel is truly one of the most hospitable we have encountered. They speak wonderful English, are very friendly and try so hard to make your stay as best as it could possibly be. The hotel is located in the old town and in walking distance to the backpack area, Hanoi Hilton (USA prisoner of war jail), the lake, HCM mausoleum, war museum, restaurants, cinema, etc! What more can I say, this is our fourth stay here, do your self a favour and stay here too.

Located in the central of old quarter of Hanoi. Calm environment and near to many restaurant.
The staff is really helpfull and good english speaking.
Overall this hotel is recommended.

They have the most friendly, attentive and helpful staff that go above and beyond! I enjoyed my stay and was glad the rooms were clean and comfortable. They offer free breakfast that is tasty with plenty of selection. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi!

Fantastic place to stay we loved the quaint narrow street where the hotel is situated the room was great and the staff were brilliant.
5 stars is not enough.

Stayed here in March 2017 and thought it was a lovely little hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter. The outstanding aspect of this place is friendly service at reception. We found Amy to be lovely and very helpful. The room was high standard with a lot of space and a chaise lounge by the window. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices. Would recommend for couples and backpackers looking to treat themselves for a night or two.

Extremely friendly staff, very helpful with all we needed. It's a family hotel and they make you feel at home. I recommend it.
