Very good hotel. Located in the city center. Service very nice, rooms clean. We returned to Hanoi 3 times and always chose this hotel for the night. I recommend with a clear conscience.

Staff were the most friendly people I met in Vietnam, very caring and genuine, will litteraly help you out and do anything for you without exception, will bend over backwards for you.
All staff treat you as a member of their own family. They will organise anything you need and always get the best prices for you with nothing in it for them. Any troubles away from the hotel eg scams etc they will do everything they can to sort it out.
Definitely recommend staying here.
Also have great breakfast, both Vietnamese and Western style.

Good hotel in general some good staff too. Horrible place to try to book a tour. No privacy with the (what I suppose) was a camera in the room.

Loved the place and the staff! Great breakfast, and if you are in for a local lunch, you can join the staff at noon to enjoy one with them for free. Very impressed about Michael (Dũng), the director of the hotel, and his attitude. Keep up the good work. Good to know — payments by card have an additional charge. Location — quiet place with occasional sound of local sellers, walking distance to ATMs (HSBC), cathedral, Hoan Kiem lake, many restaurants and cafes, and also good street food, hospital, convenience stores (Ben Store, Circle K), supermarkets (Intimex), and pharmacies.

A small, Jutnyj hotel located next to St. Stephen's Cathedral. The rooms require a cosmetic renovation, our room (requested separately) was with a balcony overlooking the cathedral. Breakfast in the small lobby of the hotel, prepare individually, a buffet table with fruit and other details. The staff were very friendly and helpful. By arrival in Ho Chi Minh City met a taxi from the hotel (offered at the booking and included in the account-this service is not required, you can use a standard taxi at the airport).

Very good reception, and good organization of transportation and travel. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the rooms on the street are a bit noisy. Thank you to the delightful Hélène who knew how to advise us in a perfect French.

Wonderful hotel with a great location near the Cathederal the rooms are of a good standard and most have recently been refurbished. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. It is like a hone away from home.

Terrible! This is a very old residential building turned into a hotel. It feels like staying at a not so clean grandma's house at a remote town instead of a hotel. The bathroom finishes were worn out and rusty accompanied by a sewer smell. The towels were also worn out and the mattress quality very poor. You could only use the elevator to go to the rooms since the stairs were full of unused furniture (e. G. A huge mattress). The breakfast was extremely basic. We couldn't finish the pancakes we ordered because they were too bad. We ended up going to another hotel.

Impressive Hotel is indeed impressive. Unlike any other hotels we have encountered so far, upon our arrival to the hotel, we are not rushed to check in despite our late arrival. Instead we are welcomed by friendly staffs who immediately offered us with fruit juice and fresh fruits to hydrate ourselves after hours of flight. The 1st face to face impression given to us is great enough to make the hanoi trip enjoyable. Not to mention about the prompt replies received by them prior to our arrival to hanoi. They have been helpful and promptly replied to our multiple enquires on room, cruise and etc bookings. The room is cosy and well maintained. You can tell the effort in ensuring our stay in pleasant. The only downside is close promixity to church which often at night you can hear the church bell rings (once per hour). But it is exactly because of the strategic location impressive Hotel is located, we are able to enjoy nice local food, cafes, shops, all within walking distance. Would highly recommend this hotel to travellers.

Friendly staff, quiet street but centrally located so it's super easy to walk to all the tourist spots. Reasonable price. Good breakfast included in price.

We were guests at the Impressive hotel in early November 2017. First we stayed 2 nights, took a trip to Halong Bay, left most of our luggage there,. Came back, reorganized stuff, went to Sapa, left luggages. Came back, reorganized again, went to Ninh Binh again left luggage there. The hotel and stuff were amazing, always ready to help, give advice, smile, even when we knocked at their door at 5 AM. Rooms pleasant, clean, breakfast very tasty, choices, fast and good. The owners (or manager) invited us to share a friendly dinner with no charge, but plenty of food, joy and laughter. Highly recommend it.

Reasonably priced & a very convenient location. The room was the best one at the price I paid compared to anywhere else in SW asia. They served a lovely breakfast & arranged a $10 limo to the airport. Friendly & helpful staff.

Our 2 week stay here was amazing! The staff felt like family by the end of our trip. From the day we walked in and they knew who we were, and throughout the days they were always so kind! We look forward to staying at the Impressive hotel again! I attached a picture of our farewell lunch Michael and every one was kind enough to make for us! The best hotel I've been to in Hanoi. Clean, nice rooms and great, friendly and always helpful staff. Delicious breakfast included!

Beyond a doubt the staff, along with it's manager, were not only impressive but extraordinary. The staff makes this hotel a must first choice when in Hanoi. We experienced an example of their fine service when my wife could not find a special veggie tool that she saw our cruise cooks using when making fancy vegetable "flowers". We had a picture of it and showed it to the manager and he immediately dispatched the bellboy on his motorbike to get one for us. The bellboy came back within a half hour with multiple choices of colors, at $1.00 each. They also set up our cab ride to the airport the next day and allowed us to prepay for the cab on our hotel bill so we would not have to deal with a driver who knew no English. They gave us a recommendation for a Valentine dinner at a great local restuant we could walk to. Oh, did I mention the fresh fruit and cold beer they had for us upon our arrival? Yes, the rooms were clean, and the beds comfortable, with a great breakfast to order, and the hotel was centrally located and reasonably priced. The staff and manager, who took time to chat with us to get to know us better, were kind gracious, and yes, IMPRESSIVE. Beyond a doubt one of the most satisfying stays we have ever experienced at any hotel any where in the world at any price. Be impressed and stay at the Impressive hotel when in Hanoi.

Great value for money. We had no booking in Hanoi and walked in to ask about rooms. We were offered a better deal than what was available online (we checked later) and we were also offered complimentary buffet breakfast which was very good quality. The staff is very professional and amiable but not in an awkward way like we experienced in other places. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the attention to details. Be aware that the location of the hotel is near St Joseph Cathedral so the chimes start very early in the morning.

I've stayed there 3 times now so that says it all. Staff is nice. The breakfast buffet is tasty. The shower/tub is kinda weird. Sideways. No other way to describe it. Will stay there again the next time I'm in Hanoi.
