Most hotels in Samarkand have a lot of fake 5 start reviews, but this hotel really deserves 5 stars. After staying in a few other hotels in Samarkand, we booked 4 nights in this hotel. The first thing I have to compliment is the service — the staff was so much friendlier and more helpful than any other place we encountered. They really did their best to make our stay comfortable. Also — the beds are great, not rock hard like so many other hotels in Uzbekistan.

Nice hotel in the city centre. First room we got smelled so bad of must and damp, almost like mould. However when we told the staff about it they were very fast to find us a new room, which was amazing, perfectly clean and smelt great. The breakfast was also amazing with a good variety — only thing that would be nice would be to have labels for all the food. I ate something that had nuts in which I'm allergic, however it is 100% my fault as I never mentioned I had an allergy. However food labels would be nice touch l. Thanks for a a great stay and such nice people working there.
