This is a small hotel with small rooms and even smaller bathrooms. We typically experienced no hot water in the morning, but semi-hot in the afternoon for showers.
The foam comforter and top sheet are weird shapes, and don’t stay on the bed easily.
The only window looks out into the central courtyard.
Wifi in the rooms is decent, breakfast is simple, coffee drinks horrible.
What was truly exception was the outstanding service by the teenager who worked there. He was just amazing arranging car service to and from our dinner restaurant.
This is a family run hotel. It is ideally situated on the edge of the main city of Bukhara. The rooms are very small and with limited facilities. Ours had one small window looking out onto a (beautiful) public courtyard so we had no privacy. And I have to say I thought the shower over the bath was somewhat dangerous for older people. Nevertheless, I was blown away at breakfast by what felt like eating with one of the locals. There were home-made fruit preserves and freshly baked pastries. The owners fussed over us as if we were family.

We are currently on the Silk Road (5-Stans tour)
We left our Devon Hotel room at ~9 am on 14 Sep for a day of sightseeing around the city of Bukhara. When we return back around ~5:45pm and our hotel room had not been cleaned: beds not made, bathroom not cleaned, no new clean towels, and bathroom toiletries not replenished. They must have come in our room earlier in the day as someone emptied our garbage can and delivered another roll of toilet paper. We reported this to the reception desk around 6:30pm before we went out for a small dinner snack. When we returned to our room around 8pm, it still had not been cleaned. The toilet was also not firmly attached to the floor. One would have to be careful when getting up from the toilet.
Another serious item of concern was that the room card had the name of our hotel and our room number on it. If we lost the card, someone would be able to enter our room.
Hot breakfast items both mornings were no more than lukewarm.
I would not recommend this hotel.
