We booked in here for 1 week. 2 couples. So glad we did. Its perfect. Has dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Full sze fridg, great comfortable beds and the list goes on. We spend a lot of time on the balcony overlooking the pool and lagoon (we are still here). Will definitely be back. Love it.

It’s peaceful, nice, modern, has all facility’s you’d wanted, nice swimming pool, shop aplenty nearby, EXCELLENT! We love it.

We loved our stay and would go back in a heartbeat. We had an apartment overlooking the lagoon, such a stunning view. Apartments were well equipped and serviced mid stay. Plenty of places to eat and the beach is 3 min away. Didn't want to leave!

Get a apartment with a balcony overlooking the lagoon. From Fiji to Hawaii. Best spot here. Great apartment, and cards and nibbles on the balcony overlooking the lagoon has been the best. Eateries very close and all amenities. Great spot.

The apartment was fitted with everything we needed to be self-contained. Staff were easygoing & friendly. Rooms with balcony looking onto heated pool are fantastic.
Great location in Trinity Beach… all you need in a quiet coastal town and less than 20mins to Cairns.
Resort has great facility (pools, gym, gardens, tourism info etc) in 5⭐️ condition.
Our daughters loved our stay at Blue Lagoon.

You cannot beat this place for the price! Clean self serviced apartments. Pool is clean and there is a patrolled beach 4 min walk up the road. Trinity beach is 15mins north of Cairns by car. There is a major shopping centre in Smithfield which is a 5 — 10 min drive away. Do yourself a favour and hire a car and stay here. The perfect place to base a holiday in Cairns. I will be coming back here for sure!

Interesting place, walk with the child on the lake, one warm pool, two cool. There are a lot of restaurants and bars nearby. Shop on site where you have everything you need. A large shopping centre 15 minutes' walk from the hotel.

For what you pay I’d expect better service. Requested a room with a view and got a view of someone else’s apartment and half a car park. Expectation was a view of the lagoon. Went to question the service desk about the room and the lady was quite curt and unapologetic. Obviously doesn’t enjoy her job. Not enough shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, tea, coffee etc etc for our entire stay. Expectation to take your rubbish bin out when you leave — what the? Won’t be back.

Love this place. Little self contained units that you can walk straight out of into the pool. We will stay here again.

The two stars are for the facilities that are good. There is NO service. They only clean your piece if you hire for 7 days. They don't change towels. A soap for two in four days. A disgrace.

Fantastic holiday. Clean and we'll laid out rooms. Had everything we needed and staff were friendly and helpful. Good location close to the beach without paying for waterfront views.

Self contained apartments are clean, in our two bedroom the hair dryer was broken and pillows lacked support I had a sore neck. Booked for 3x adults and one room had 2x single beds. Reception said we should of requested theybe joined if we wanted something other than two singles. I think both parties should take responsibility, room wasnt amended. Not much around and lakc of atmosphere, small pools and lap pool is removed from resort. Parking is a challenge, room we got had quite a lot of noice (adjacent to restaurant at entrance) and we left a night early and paid to stay somewhere else. Pictures look a little better than reality. Not bad but nothing special.

The apartment was spacious and clean. The staff were lovely and it is in a good location.

Loved this resort, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was very comfortable for our family of 4. Everything was so easy. From relaxing on our balcony in the morning to spending the afternoon in the pool & using the BBQ's by the pool for dinner. Perfect! Will be back for sure!

Beautiful fully self contained rooms/apartments. Pools are beautiful and relaxing. But a 10 minute walk to the nearest shops which are a bit expensive.

The Blue Lagoon was a really nice place to relax with my family. The apartment we stayed in for 6 people had a decent spacious living area, it’s only downfall was the couches as they were not very comfortable to relax on. There are aircon units in every room although I felt the unit in the main living area struggled to keep it cool. The two main swimming pools for families were very nice although the main swimming pool didn’t offer any shaded swimming for children. However there is a swimming pool which is shaded by the appartments beside it, although is gets deep very quickly with only a tiny bit of it shallow for small kids. The main swimming pool did have a bigger however still small shallow end for small children to play in but at one end drops of into a deep section. The staff were also friendly and helpful. We arrived without actually having a booking due to the fault of my father and they quickly got us into our apartment without much trouble.

Lots of pools, good reception. Good spot, not too far from Cairns but not far from anything. Restaurants right outside the hotels for easy meals!

Clean apartments, lovely people. A little basic but overall not bad.

You deserve 1 star for the hotel services but the blue lagoon grill was awesome they deserve 5 stars. Room was filthy with evidence of the last tenants in the draws and fridge and pool was also filthy was there for several days and it didn’t get cleaned so missed out on a swim was freezing cold water anyhow. Reception staff was rude and lazy didn’t even stand up to welcome us. Parking facilities are poor at best with no allocations and minimal spaces. Most importantly my partner left many personal belongings in the bathroom by mistake and we rang up reception just a few hours after checkout. To find out the items had been “thrown away” they had our contact details, and a phone call before our belongings were destroyed or stolen would have been more then appreciated. I was very surprised this happened after finding things from the previous people staying there. Very very disappointed. Blue lagoon Feel free to contact me to resolve these issues.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Blue Lagoon. Beautiful grounds, pools and very nice staff. We really enjoyed walking around and seeing the wallabies at night. Only problems were the air conditioning, which was on full blast but really didn't cool the room, and the Wi-Fi was very flimsy. But thank you for a great time.

For me our appt is quite lovely, roomsl spacious enough. As we are staying for 2 weeks a few things could be improved. Not enough draws to put away clothes, there is adequate hanging space. Washing machine is quite old & doesn't do what you'd expect it to do. General lighting not enough to read by or do any craft or board games at night. The view from our balconies are wonderful. The lagoon is peaceful. Good place to stay.

Amazing resort with great pools, surroundings, rooms, restaurants, and activities. Only things lacking was that the air conditioning in the room is barely functional and the Wi-Fi is constantly failing.

Great position, close to lovely restaurants, nice walk around the lagoon, 2 blocks to the beach one way, 10 minute walk to the shops. We had a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. It was lovely. Well appointed, easy to use kitchen. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of chairs and tables around the pool. Would be very happy to stay here another time.

Great staff, beautiful rooms with fully equipped kutchen. I was in a studio apartment. Mel at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful in finding the right apartment as a walk-in. Had a great stay. Comfortable beds and close to everything. My only issue was loud residents in the pool area. Unfortunately it always happened after hours. Would definitely return.

We have just spent 10 nights at Blue Lagoon Resort and would highly recommend it! The staff are so cheerful, friendly and helpful. The resort is picturesque and the grounds well maintained. We had a two bedroom apartment on the fourth floor overlooking the pool and lagoon. So lovely to sit on the balcony for breakfast and at night time for drinks with such a great view. Apartment was spacious and comfortable though the walls could do with a fresh paint. We were kindly allowed a late checkout as we had a late flight home. Trinity Beach / Blue Lagoon resort is a great location for a holiday and we will definitely come back for another family holiday. Just a side night, the bird life at night is quite vocal! … lol

We stayed for 8 nights in February. If you're looking at Trinity Beach, Blue Lagoon is a great place to stay! The staff (Mel and Kel) were wonderful and made the experience even better. So helpful in booking tours for us and making recommendations. We had a top floor pool/mountain view 1 bedroom which was great, but yes be aware there are stairs and no elevators. Did not bother us, but it is difficult getting luggage up. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Very helpful having laundry in the apt with such a long stay. The lagoon pool is beautiful and entire property is well maintained. Location is excellent… close to the beach and every restaurant in the area was so good! Bus stop is just a few minutes walk which was convenient to get into the city and also where our tours picked up. The only downside was the closest grocery store was about a 15 min walk away which was not the easiest on the rainy or very hot days when we didn't have a car. We only cooked a few times but if you plan to utilize the kitchen a lot you may consider renting a car or getting a taxi. We did rent a car for a couple days from a company who was nice enough to drop it off at the resort. Everyone in the area was so friendly and I highly recommend Blue Lagoon! Great value for the price! If we come back to Cairns we will definitely stay here again!

Great accomodation in a tranquil setting. Loved the one bedroom apartment with deck straight onto the pool. Everything you need for your stay. Perfect for couples nice and quiet and private! Staff friendly and helpful with booking tours. Beautiful spot! Would recommend and will definitely be back.

My 4th visit to Blue Lagoon — Trinity Beach, enjoy my stay every time. First time review as I believe the rooms need a makeover to repair lots of small deficiencies such as cupboard doors lose on hinges, Fan has two very fast speeds, one ultra slow and the fourth does not exist. Hair dryer burnt out and replaced immediately, all due to constant rentals which just needs monitoring. Otherwise I cannot fault location and staff. Centrally located for all tours, nothing is a bother.

Fantastic place to stay, ticked all boxes, walking distance to beach, restaurants, tour bus stops, enjoyed pool. Very friendly helpful staff, organised trips etc. Room very comfy, well equipped, nice views. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay on holiday, the room was lovely overlooking the beautiful pool area. Even though it was fully booked, it was very quiet and relaxing. Also the reception staff were wonderful very helpful and informative. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!
