We came to Montevideo during the low season. The Don Boutique Hotel met all of what we needed. We can't speak to the pool or rooftop bar area because we didn't take advantage of them as it was a bit cooler and cloudy. The room was clean and spacious. The best thing about our experience was Gonzalo at the front desk. He was so very friendly and helpful. He answered all our questions, gave us recommendations, and helped us make a reservation for a show and a taxi. He spoke fantastic English which was so very helpful to us, as we speak very little Spanish. He basically made us feel like we were old friends who came to stay.

Location right on the harbour in the Old Town (5 minutes from Buquebus terminal on foot). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Sparkling wine welcome. Clean and comfortable rooms (with a small terrace). Rooftop bar and pool! Great breakfast (omelette on request also available).
Happy to go back…

Very nice hotel and closest to the port.

Hotel of category, it shows from the entrance to the lobby to the design of the room. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was very good, the food was very clean and the food was great. I value having parking next door and entrance to the direct hotel. Excellent price/quality ratio.

An incomparable service in Montevideo.

Hotel was clean and staff friendly and very helpful. Our room (#11) was small and dark with only a window to a internal patio (and the view of another room). Not the best. The closet doors were in bad shape. The bathroom was nice. Breakfast was varied and abundant. The common areas we lovely. Three stars because we expected better rooms for the price we paid.

Beautiful, decor and beautiful Art deco ambience, spacious and comfortable rooms, pool sector and divine lounge bar to relax and enjoy. But what really stands out is the attention of the staff that is luxury, you want to be pampered and feel like at home go to the Don!

I liked the hotel. But if you have Q exit from the port. You're at the touch. Tb are walking distance from very rich restaurants. All very friendly at the hotel. The breakfast was very good.

Exquisite hotel where to make an urban stay. In summer, enjoy its terraces, one with a view of the bay and another more reserved.

Full of charm in every detail. A great option for those who want to be in the Ciudad Vieja. We could walk to the shops and to the Rambla during the day, and to the bars and restaurants during the night. Everything was perfect, the room, the breakfast, the pool, the attention given to us at the reception. Excellent service!

Nice location. Right next to the Merccado del Puerto where you can eat the best Uruguayan BBQ. The Restaurant Palenque is affiliated to this hotel.

Great location and nice staff.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Don Boutique Hotel. All the staff was great (housekeeping, restaurant, and front desk). Mauro at the front desk was very helpful in recommending some great places to eat (two places very close that were excellent were Jacinto and La Fonda). The neighborhood was bustling with cafes, shops, and art galleries during the day. It was fairly quiet at night but very safe to walk around at all hours. The hotel was a great base for me to to city tour and day trips to Colonia and Punta del Este. One day I rented a bike a few blocks away and had a great ride along the Rio de la Plata. The rooms were comfortable and clean. My favorite part of the hotel was the pool and rooftop deck area. It was very nice to go to those places to relax and have great views of the city. Having an included breakfast with the nice dining room staff was a great bonus too. I loved the Art Deco building too.
