Just had a very nice Sunday roast, delicious, 😋 can definitely recommend the Crossroads. The beer is good as too 🍻

From the moment we arrived we we’re made extremely welcome. All the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. The towels, soft and fluffy! We had a delicious evening meal yesterday evening (05/03/22) and our breakfasts this morning were divine. We were travelling with our Greyhound Kenny who was also made very, very welcome. Dog treats, water bowls and blankets if required. Sausages for breakfast! A scenic country pub with fab walks on the doorstep.

The Crossroads Inn is a great country inn, boasting fantastic views, I recommend the beer garden in the summer. Great selection of drinks, fantastic food, the new menu is highly recommended. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Stayed in the pub carpark in our campervan and parents stayed in the pubs accommodation, immaculately kept! A warm welcome from a lovely landlady and her hardworking team, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us! Food was perfect
All weekend — value for money, generally felt at home, with a good mix of ages, popular for weekenders visiting the area and locals just as welcoming and friendly as expected of us northerners! Highly recommended will be returning again soon.

As a family we had a fantastic meal here this afternoon & would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone wanting home cooked meals at very reasonable prices & great beers.

Greeted with a friendly smile. My room was neat and tidy and clean.
Dinner was great as was my full English breakfast.
The scenery around is breath taking.

Brilliant pub. Food is excellent. Jane and Pete are very welcoming and friendly. As are the lovely staff. We stay whenever we visit Yorkshire best accomodation we have found very dog friendly would highly recommend.

Staff are very friendly and accomodating for families and children. Menu does have offers and lunch menu is well priced. Also has a good range of timmy taylor beers.

We have had an overnight stay at the Crossroads Inn. It is the first time we have stayed but certainly won’t be the last.
Lovely comfortable room, spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. Friendly atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back.

I came across this inn by mistake as I was hungry thought I would try it excellent food and staff really friendly will definitely recommend to friends and will be back.

Came a while ago but forgot to leave a review, had a lovely time at the crossroads, the food is amazing, freshly cooked and perfect sized portions, the staff are so friendly, polite and very caring, couldn’t ask for better service, would highly recommend to everyone x.

Lovely meal here this evening, new to the area so good to find great food available, and very pleased to be brought a separate vegan menu after enquiring if there were any options (also an extra option available on the specials board too)

I'm a really fussy eater but I couldnt fault the food. I had the veggie spicey bean burger and skinny fries with salad. Every mouthful was heaven. I cleared my plate and my Mom was shocked because I usually moan about something or just dont eat anything. She had fish and mash and my daughter had veggie sausage, mash and peas. We all agreed it was delicious and will definitely dine thete again. Also we took our dogs which was an added bonus. Polite staff and nice and clean.

Really friendly and the food was really good, local ale topped the night off just right in a very relaxed and friendly pub.

Plenty of space to sit outside in the sun. The stuffed peppers were bland and boring. Skin on chunky chips were lovely but the burger didn't sound great, a bit processed. Nice view s and nice tasting wine.

Wow, just been for a bit of lunch for the first time and I must say we werent disappointed. My gf had the chicken and chorizo lasagne which came with salad, coleslaw and a garlic ciabatta. I had the chicken and ham pie with a flakey pastry. Just devine. The chicken in both dishes was in massive pieces as was the ham in the pie. Drinks fairly priced and staff smiley and helpful.

Been going almost every weekend for nearly 13 years now, I love this place. All the staff are lovely and the land lord and lady are really nice.

Sunday lunch was just OK. Roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding had been cooked a while and weren't at all crispy. I have definitely had better.

Visited whilst on holiday. We were so impressed that we chose to have our evening meals there. Warm and friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very dig friendly too.

A welcoming Inn with friendly staff, well kept beers and a good menu including the specials board. There is entertainment on various evenings and a decent sized car park.

Best pint of Landlord in Calderdale. Fantastic views on a clear day pity it was foggy when we called in. Excellent food served by efficient and friendly staff. We will definitely return.

Nice surroundings, pleasant staff, good food. Everything is just as you would want it. Only thing stopping a five star review is that it got really warm while we were there, and there was nothing to be done about it!

We came here for a getaway, just us two. The staff welcomed us, reserved a table for dinner that evening and breakfast the next morning. We were then taken to our room. The room itself was a good size, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including plenty of pillows and towels. (An option to change the feather & down duvet & pillows to hollow fibre was available). There were tea & coffee making facilities with biscuits & chocolate. There were also two bottles of water. The bathroom was a decent size with a separate bath and shower, the shower being very powerful. There were bath and shower gel pots available too. The breakfast was more than substantial, with a continental option and a cooked breakfast — all inclusive of the room price — you could have as much as you wanted and were served by the friendly girl behind the bar We would come here again if we were traveling through this area. I would certainly recommend it for the views, the pub atmosphere, the food and he helpful staff.

Went for three nights over the bank holiday weekend and for our anniversary. Lovely welcome, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. Nice room with beautiful view of the stunning countryside. We had our dog and she was welcomed also. Lovely food, recommend the chicken and chorizo lasagne, it was delicious. Lovely breakfast too with a sausage for the dog. Treats
brought each night for the dog when we were having a drink. Prosecco for breakfast on the day of our anniversary was no trouble to them at all. Would highly recommend and we will be returning.

1st time here, food, staff, atmosphere fantastic. Best ribeye steak I've had in a long, perfectly cook. Also sticky toffee pudding is to die for. Well worth a shot if your in the area.

Went there for a Christmas set menu. Food arrived on time, and everyone found their meal delicious. My only gripe is that the wine list is rather limited.

Great Sunday lunch, food quality excellent and generous portions…

Have been several times over the past year. Usually the food is great but this time had haddock and chips and it was poor! The chips were chunky chips and as is often the case, were undercooked. The fish was smaller than previously and the batter overcooked! There were signs all over the pub advertising for a new chef! Should have known!

Very friendly staff room was clean great choice for breakfast restaurant was busy quality of food was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Called here on Friday 9/5/14 both myself and my husband were extremely impressed with the quality of the food, and there was a large choice. This was only bettered by the warm welcome from the young man behind the bar who gave outstanding service through out, this is going to be a regular place to visit from now on.

This pub/hotel/restaurant has had a lot of money spent on it recently (million? ) Ignore all but last review it is lovely with great food and all bedrooms etc are brand new with all mod cons. Well worth a visit.
