We provided the wedding band for Lucy & Adam and it was a wonderful experience. The venue is beautiful, the staff were so lovely and really professional, and the food was amazing! Definitely a new favourite in the area.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a trip. Though arriving late, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are immaculate, very clean with comfy beds and everything anyone could need. Absolutely unpretentious, and carried off with great style. Stupendous breakfasts with a lovely view over the farm to Sutton Bank and the White Horse.

A beautiful house with a comfortable room. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. They made great breakfasts. One thing that stood out is that they clearly had thought of all the little things that would make for a great stay. I wish we could have had a longer stay so that we could enjoy all the house had to offer.

We stayed here over the August bankholiday weekend and what a lovely place to stop at!
From arriving to leaving the place it was faultless, hosts are so friendly and welcoming, rooms are very tidy and clean, breakfast is amazing with all the food being sourced locally. (Highly recommended full English! ) You won't be disappointed.
The B&B is in a perfect area for traveling to settle or Ingleton or surrounding areas.
There is a Games room with pool table and darts.

Absolutely beautiful place, we stayed in apartment 2 which had a view directly over the river Foss. My wife loves Molton Brown products so was delighted to find them in the bathroom and even the kitchen. The parking is close to the apartment and easy to do (which is great when you consider most hotels and B&Bs in the centre of York do not provide parking or even close to where you stay plus it costs £££).

If you are looking for a luxurious place to stay in the heart of York then look no further. Franklins Apartments are absolutely stunning in every aspect. Beautifully decorated and finished, spotlessly clean, super comfy beds and sofa's to relax on. Everything was thought through and nothing left out that we could think of to guarantee a lovely stay: bathrobes, reed diffusers and shampoo to champagne and flutes and every kitchen utensil we could ever need. Lavish welcome hamper.

Los & Neale are very pleasant people. The bed was comfortable, the pantry with snacks & fresh milk for the guests is a nice touch. The street parking pass was appreciated & the location is a short walk away from the beach. Breakfast both days was excellent.

My parents stayed at The Cavendish for 2 nights after winning the break that was gifted to The Woodlands Academy (local school) by Neale and Lis. Their stay was first class from start to finish.
Location — the Cavendish is ideally located to visit Scarborough but also the surrounding areas (Filey, Hornsea, Bridlington). Parking was easy and the offer of parking permits much appreciated. The surrounding area was quiet making for peace and relaxation.

Beautifully presented, comfortable and cosy cottage. Felt like home the moment we stepped inside, enjoyed every second of our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely book one of their cottages again but will probably try one of their Scalby cottages next time.

We stayed in Adelphi Lodge for a week and absolutely loved it. The kids had their own rooms, each with a smart TV so they were delighted. The main bedroom was very comfortable, and robes were provided in each room which was a lovely extra touch. Location was excellent, easy to get to Park and Ride into Scarborough. We also had a very nice Sunday roast at the Copper Horse pub. Highly recommended!

We loved our trip to Mickley B&B, from start to finish Libs was so helpful. The B&B is gorgeous, the beds are so comfy and we slept very well. It was great to have a little sitting room, attached to our room which was ideal for chilling out and relaxing.
The breakfast was perfect, all freshly cooked and locally sourced and plentiful! We would definitely visit again and highly recommend staying at any time of the year! X.

We stayed two nights in the Amber Suite on our way north. As soon as we arrived Libs made us feel welcome in her lovely home, and encouraged us to make full use of the public areas including the garden. We slept well and had lovely breakfasts to set us up for our days out. We enjoyed our trips to Ripon, Hackfall woods and Masham. Mickley itself is a lovely village. It was lovely to come back and relax in the sitting room and garden.

We have just returned from Dillons, what a gem of a place to stay whilst in Whitby. A great location, super comfortable room with everything you need. Superb breakfast with lots of delicious local produce, Lovely, friendly hosts, a real pleasure. Highly recommend.

We'd been planning to stay at Dillons again after our first (excellent) stay, but it took us ten years to do so. Remarkably, Craig and Mathew have kept the standards high and we enjoyed every minute of this visit too. The room (Raj) is beautifully done up; the hosts are friendly and knowledgeable; and the breakfasts are very good. What more could you ask for?!

House is stunning and the ambience very good quality.
Beautifully decorated and gardens are worth a walk around too.
Friendly but appropriate service.
Room spacious, lovely views and very clean. 2 sizes of bathrobes in the room, which is good.
Food was very good, £32 for a bottle of wine, which was reasonable in the setting. Service very good, and they add a service charge on to the bill.

Had the tasting menu today (Sunday lunch 21/4/24). The food was absolutely wonderful, with the bread it was six courses, all of which were so tasty and beautiful to look at. This is only £50 per head. We’ve had top Michelin food and this is equal to many meals we’ve paid three or four times the price. The service was professional and friendly and the gardens/grounds are spectacular. Really enjoyed our visit, will definitely be coming again.

It was the 2nd time my fiancee and myself had stayed here (the 1st being 2018) and once again we had a very pleasant stay. We love the location plus the rooms and the staff were all very polite and friendly. We didn't get her name sadly but the lady on our checkout day was especially helpful and gave us some tips for future visits plus an extremely useful shortcut to the train station which we used and will always do so from now on.

Hotel was really clean and well appointed. Room was recently decorated and very well appointed. Great big fridge and teas and coffees and water supplies. The bed was large and really comfortable. Lovely shower and high quality soaps and shower gels. Access to Netflix and situated on a beautiful quiet street. Would definitely recommend a stay!

Huge thank you, for a wonderful last minute getaway. We stayed in apartment 1, which is the basement apartment however, it is by no means dark or dingy. It is light airy, spacious and immaculate! We arrived much earlier than check in but this was no problem and we were able to check in. We paid £5 for a parking permit for our two night stay. We are delighted to have found the gem that is The Helaina and will be back, and would love to try a sea view room next time. Thank you again!

Went and had an overnight stay there as husband’s birthday. Enjoyed our stay but unfortunate not got to try the breakfast due to husband falling unwell during our stay. Would definitely be staying there again.

My partner and I went for a meal with our dog. (Very dog friendly). All the staff were really friendly, attentive and very helpful. The food was excellent, both in presentation and taste, definitely what you would expect at any top michelin star rated restaurant.

Amazing food! Great service and beautiful rooms. Can't wait to go back! see you very soon.

What a beautiful evening we have had. We got married elsewhere in Ripon and came to Grantley Hall for the evening (just the two of us). We were treated to complimentary glasses of champagne and the staff were all so warm and couldn’t do enough for us. The gardens were beautiful and we got some lovely shots hopping over the stepping stones. We ate at Fletchers thanks to Will getting us a table and the food, service and wine recommendations were all superb.

Attended the Twilight Spa yesterday with my friend. The Therapists were excellent and we both thoroughly enjoyed our treatments. The spa is beautiful and very relaxing. We were slightly disappointed we had not being told that the hydrotherapy area wasn’t working and the outdoor hot tub was covered and not in use but we were still able to relax in the steam room, sauna and pool.
