This hotel is alright for the price. Trouble is there's a hotel up the road that's much nicer for about the same price. Staff are great. Rooms are basic and a bit worn. PSA: rooms do not have enough power sockets, be prepared.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. Food quite good. Hotel room was terrible. Smelt of stale smoke. Whole place needs renovating.

More of a contractors stop over than a place to take a break. Run down rooms, although the restaurant was reasonable.

Ok for the price but could do with a lick of emulsion paint in the rooms, bedding was spotless also the toilet / shower was very clean just looked dated with the woodchip wallpaper & carpets that was grubby. Reason I've only gave it a 3 star.

Rooms average OK for quick stop over food nice but the prices are dear for what you get example small bottle coke £2 30 meal pie and potato and red cabbage when it comes to table potato is only a table spoon same as cabbage pie is just slightly bigger than a single pork pie out of a pack of 4 and the cost was £10 95 cooked very nicely but definitely not worth the cost.

Cheap and cheerful and the food is great.

I got taken hostage here but apart from that it was a great place, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Basic rooms, very comfortable bed and lovely bath! Very good value for money and very helpful staff. Really central location.

My stay was pleasant Here, stayed for 2 nights and is safe to say that this hotel is good, affordable breakfast in the morning which is cooked to a high standard and coffee/tea in the mornings, got everthing you need. Only downside was lack of plug sockets.

Book somewhere else. For the money you pay there are better hotels in the area. No internet. No cleaning provided on our room. No heating. Had to get portable heater from reception.

Cheap and comfortable. Great place to stay for the night and the breakfast in the morning was also very reasonable.

Very friendly staff, rooms more than adequate and a good breakfast. My third time here and more than happy to stay again.

Had a quick shave. Emptied sink and water wouldn't drain. Gave it a pump with my hand and a huge tube of rotten gunk came through the overflow. Absolutely disgusting. Restaurant/reception toilets a disgrace with old blocked toilet urinals full of old urine. The girl on the reception was lovely but clearly overworked, multi tasking even cleaning out deep fat fryer when checking me in. Not her fault at all but for goodness sake Campanile. Sort yourselves out. There is cheap and downright disgrace.

Although possibly in need of some refurbishment l a pleasant 3 night stay here. Rooms clean staff helpful and a basic restaurant to boot.

Whole place looks very tired next the Travellodge across the road. I'm pretty sure the rooms haven't been updated for at least 20 years. The toilet only intermittently flushed properly. Poor lighting and only one socket in the room. Only plus points were friendly staff, free on site parking and location close to city centre.

A bit poor and very basic. Rooms have a small heater, small TV and small and soft beds. Restaurant is rather OK since I have only continental. But for dinner, doesn't even worth it.

Hotel very central easy walk into town and all shops. Room ok nothing special clean and tidy built like a American motel. One down side was the late time we were allowed to take room which was 2pm this spoiled the day waiting around for the room. Did not take any food so can't comment on the restaurant facilities.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are a little tired but kept clean by the very friendly housekeeping staff who are doing a good job under the circumstances. The restaurant serves a good English or continental breakfast cooked freshly rather than from a buffet which was a change from having over cooked items. The reception staff were friendly and helpful but bear in mind this is a budget style hotel which at least puts a roof over your head for the night. I read a lot of bad reviews about this place but after staying there bearing in mind the price I have no complaints and indeed if I had I feel sure that the staff would have done their best to put it right.

Just got back from here. The rooms are in much need of a refurb. The walls are grubby and marked, we had a big dint in the bathroom door, the bath tap was nearly hanging off, the furniture has seen better days. The bed was very comfy and the bedding and towels were clean. I wouldn't personally stay here again but it is ok if you want somewhere to get ready and sleep.

Get what you pay for. Oh no wait a minute we could have got cheaper if we booked directly. Still, wouldn't go back. Only good thing were staff were friendly.

The hotel is very near to the centre of Hull so in a really good position. Breakfast is lovely and the evening meal we had was good. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable but in real need of updating. X.

Late booking. Very disappointed. Nothing in bathroom. Bin under sink catching water and light not working. Paper cups and no milk for coffee making facilities. Dated and well worn. Wasn't even a cheap deal at £69 room only. Very sparse. Only gave one star because it wouldn't accept the review otherwise.

Hotel is very dated. Rooms in need of refurbishment.

Hi, I'm Del Fuller, I can honestly say this is the best hotel I have ever stayed on, 11 out of 10, in fact I have booked a holiday in the area and I am booking this for 2 full weeks to avail myself of the wonderful food and service. I can full recommend this to all.

I think this hotel is bad it's not clean. There only one stocker in the whole room, so you have to wait till you have watched TV or put phone in. The room is cold. Not much coffee or milk for morning. I'm only stay here as I've got course to go on and it's right across the road. I will not stay again.

The personal service should be more friendly. We came from a long distance before the check in time and they treated us badly, they did not even ask if we want something to drink, or if we have anywhere to stay. The lady from the rrception told us : I don t care, I can t do anything until 2 pm. We had our luggages and we stood inside. She looked at us like we were some thieves. Bad attitude. No respect.

We were greeted by a friendly member of staff who worked quickly and efficiently to get our rooms booked and sorted, payment methods should have been made a little clearer though, payment by cash required a deposit which was £50 on top of the room price. The rooms were smaller than I had expected for 2 people and wasn't very well looked after, tiles in the bathrooms had fallen off and the shower head was also broken. Also, something that was absolutely disgraceful was the mess underneath the bed, I found masses of rubbish under the bed including a few tissues with obvious substances on it and food. The beds were well made and comfortable which made up for a few faults. Another problem was that there wasn't enough plugs in the room for the essentials such as phone chargers. There was one which was occupied by the TV in the room. Overall, lovely staff but poor rooms if I'm honest.

Perfect hotel for this price. Breakfast was good. Not as big compared to a larger hotel. But there was certainly enough choice and there was more than enough.

VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY! My stay at Campanile Hull was excellent. The staff was very friendly and smiling. Our room was very clean and so was all the hotel. The shower is great, hot water and good pressure. The room was very quite and heating was working perfectly. The breakfast was delicious, they offer a great selection of fruits, cereal, yogurts and english breakfast if you want. It's conveniently located in the Centre of Hull. EXCELLENT PRICE! I strongly recommend this hotel to all ocasions, travelling, business, etc.
