Great staff accommodation in a newly refurbished hotel. Great food, small gym and pool in lovely surroundings with a lake near by.

What absolutely lovely staff. They could not do enough for us. A special thank you to the young man on reception, he went out of his way in booking us in. The manager was also very approachable and friendly. Our rooms were lovely and breakfast was hot and very tasting. If I could give a 10, I would do so.

Booked this hotel for my boyfriends birthday present to watch the Swansea match and we were blown away by the amazing, polite and attentive staff and nothing was too big an ask for them. The interior was beautifully decorated. Our room was everything you need and the hairdryer was top class! The food at the restaurant was worth the price and so yummy! The pool and sauna facilities were well kept. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying on this hotel. We will be back!

A very enjoyable weekend. Room comfortable. Food was decent and although they charge "hotel prices " these are not as expensive as many similar establishments.

This hotel is one of the best I've been to. From Chris the amazingly upbeat and helpful receptionist, to Stephen who moved our uncancelable reservation due to the snow. The bed was super comfy, the room very clean, the soundproofing great. We had our dogs with us and the locale had a great lakeside park for walks and a tesco extra a ten min walk away. The only reason for the 4 star, the shower was a little quirky.

Decent enough for an overnight stay. Bar area was nice but slow service. Good breafast and great latte. Big comfortable bed but bathroom looking a bit tired.

Just had one night there it's lovely good food too.

In the industrial estates around Swansea town centre, this hotel was easy to get to and from. City is a good 10 minutes drive and a good 45 minutes to walk. Hotel is next to a small lake which is a pleasant walk and you can follow the nearby cycle path into town. Free Wi-Fi access on site and parking, no issues finding a spot. Bed was comfy, shower was hot. Restaurant on site but we ate out and left early before breakfast. I would certainly stay there again.

I only visited the hotel for a blood donation session. It did however look very inviting for a stay. The location is in an industrial/retail estate which wouldn't be ideal for a family holiday with the kids. However if you were staying for business, visiting relatives, or a bit of shopping, it's fine.

Much better dining experience than early October. The one negative I picked up today and last visit, is it's so cold in the restaurant/lounge area.

Booked this hotel as the room prices were good. Then came the expensive drinks and very expensive dinning upgrade that were not worth the high prices and were not clearly advised. Pool is like a large bucket of water. Had to circle like a shark trying to stay alive. Suana was a plus. Rooms and bed were nice. Would I stay again? Yes, but only stay. No food and no drinks. Plenty of pubs on the industrial estate which is where I will eat next time. Staff however were good. Very helpful and happy.

Ok. Can't really complain considering the cost. Large rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Bar prices on the high side.

Great little hotel. We had just a standard room. Which was cosy. Lovely shower, clean, and great artwork. The bed was super comfy. Polite staff, very helpful and friendly, and very honest about where to eat without being pushy about the hotel restaurant. Would happily stay here again. Not the best location if you want the city centre, but for us, it was perfect, as we wanted the Liberty Stadium.

Fairly large hotel. Staff friendly. Ideally located on the edge of Swansea for visiting South Wales (Gower, Black Mountains to name just 2) Hotel backs on to a lake, great for an evening stroll.

Very clean, comfy and modern. Did not use a room as was attending a meeting, but the overall feel of the hotel was good.

The staff are very friendly and the foods good loved the breakfast! the room was spacious and very clean we were on the grown floor at the back of the hotel it was very peaceful and as a result I had a lovely night's sleep l would defenanly come back again when in the area!

Always very welcoming and there is nothing the staff won't do for you. Very professional service.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Website says 24 hour room service from menu, great lakeside views. None of this is true. If you like your hotel miles from the city centre hidden in an industrial estate, with terrible customer service and only a £8 ham sandwich available after 10pm then you are in luck.

Stayed several times at this hotel. Staff have always been excellent, polite, helpful and professional. Food excellent. Hotel has been recently refurbished and is looking very slick and updated. I would stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Swansea.

Maybe a little ' older but has everything you need and, for a 3 star, even something more.

Cheap hotel. Rooms ok. Beds are very good. Food ok. Service ok. Nothing special.

Fast check in, comfortable and clean room. Breakfast was OK but coffee was very good.

I was only there for a very short meeting. Very clean and professional. The bar area was cool and inviting as it was very humid outside.

Only good thing was the bed. Everything else is terrible. Breakfast for £14: Eggs in oil, Sausages like dog food and "fruits ": green Watermelon, green melon and few pineapple pieces without peeled. Toilet has no brush. I guess everyone knows what`s that mean. Cleaners should check regularly, because you can find "forgot things" in toilets… Walls made from paper. You can hear, if someone make a poo 2 rooms away. I could count how many coins my neighbor has… When you drive in take care! Drain cover is to low and cuted our tyre. We arrived around 22:00 and way is a bit up so 0% chance to see it in time… Half of our Easter weekend gone in the bin… Try to avoid, if you want a comfortable place to stay.

Clean and lovely, breakfast included was a bonus.

Have stayed at this hotel several times due to work commitments (Amberon). From the lowest position to the highest within the staff, all are highly professional and dedicated to their work. Nothing is to much trouble. The rooms are of a clean and high standard. The food is excellent. Showers are powerful and a pleasure to use. Having a brilliant time lov the sauna.

Stayed here for an overnight break in Swansea. Our room was a standard double, very clean and comfortable and had everything you need tv, tea and coffee tray, plenty of storage space. Nice view of the lake complete with Swans. Bathroom quite dated with old style shower over the bath, but clean and with fresh towels and toiletries. Breakfast buffet had a really good selection of all the usual cereals, juice, fruit, and the cooked breakfast was top notch. There's a nice restaurant and a relaxed bar area with sofa's and easy chairs and free Wi-Fi zone. However, we chose not to dine in the restaurant as £22 for a 3 course carvery seemed a little steep, so we drove into the city to dine and returned to use the hotel bar for a couple of late night drinks. All the staff we encountered were without fail friendly and polite, a real credit to the hotel and management. It's a few miles from the city centre, so you really need a car to get around but all in all it offers a good base for events at the Liberty Stadium and for exploring further afield with good road links to City centre, mumbles and the Gower area.

Lovely staff and decent rooms, a bit out of town however, so transport required for exploring or any outings.

Stayed here for 1 night very easy check in and out, very comfortable beds and pillows, room facilities very good with decent coffee and a excellent shower, 1 minute walk outside and the most amazing views and walks over a nice clean lake plenty of wildlife and very clean, Overhaul an excellent stay.

We stayed over the weekend 5-7 March 2010. The restaurant was full of boys aged around 10 — 13. The staff were talking openly about their concerns as the 65 boys were on a sporting gala with only 3 adults to supervise. Had very little sleep because of their antics (we were surrounded by them! ). Told the staff but no impact. In fact they were in denial. Ironically the chambermaids apologised for the chaos. Not blaming the boys but the hotel. What would have happened in a fire situation? They also have a problem with their systems. On checking in a couple were disputing the rate which had been agreed and yes on checking out another couple ditto ditto.
