Lovely staff. Clean tidy rooms. No air con but fans in room.

Excellent as usual, no problems at all.

Rooms are usually pretty standard at Premier so ok on that score. Poor service in restaurant for both evening meal and breakfast. Waited almost 10 minutes at breakfast to be allocated a table, then was just told to sit where I like. Coach party arrived during evening meal then all attention was directed to them and nobody else.

Rooms are tidy. Reception is helpful, restaurant is serving a decent meal. But price and quality ratio is somewhat inadequate. Never the less it's like McDonald's you always know what you'll get.

A good clean friendly and family orientated place. The room was modern and clean. The catering facilities and the variety of food were better than some budget hotels I've stayed in including other Premier Inns. There is a bar which offers a selection of drinks catering for the venues clientele. If you don't want the hotel catering there is a take away option on site. I would use this venue again.

Standard quality Premier Inn which has been modernized to include large screen TV's. The hotel is fairly big and is known to be busy. The car park is smaller than other Premier Inns. Because this hotel is located right next to the elevated M4, it is noisy if you want the windows open. Beefeater restaurant is attached which is ok.

Just stayed 1 night in Premier Inn Newport. Very comfortable. Lovely welcoming staff. Even gave us bottled chilled water on our departure for our journey home. Now that’s a nice gesture. Would recommend this Inn.

It's ok, what you would expect, bed and showers are good, however no air con. Can get for toasty in the rooms.

The rooms were the usual standard, but the Beefeater next door was poor, slow service between courses, cold food, chips not triple cooked as stated, quite disappointed. Breakfast however was good.

Booked this hotel late in the day, but was really happy with the location and the room. Very clean and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful.

As Premier Inns go its one of the newer nice ones. Rooms are spacious, flat screen tv, elevator. Attached is a Beefeater so its one of the nicer eateries. You know what I mean if you frequent Premier Inns often. I enjoyed the addition of a Mcdonalds on site, particularly useful when you miss dinner or if you fancy a late night snack. Lots of parking, make sure you get a permit from the check in desk otherwise you'll get a ticket!

Staff are excellent and better than many high end hotels I have stayed in. The hotel is very clean and beds very comfortable. Food and staff at the Beefeater are top notch. The only criticism I have is it was snowing outside, the heating was off in the room but it was still very warm. Opening the window lets in too much traffic noise to sleep. Suggest air conditioning to control the temperature better in winter and summer.

Good location. Free parking if staying at the hotel. Clean rooms. Ironing boards and Irons available on request. Meal deal available for an evening meal and breakfast for 24.99 at the beefeater across the car park. Overall satisfied.

The room itself was pleasant, a smaller version of the premier inn with restaurant facilities at the next store beefeater. Service was good. The guest in the room above was sadly very disruptive to my stay playing loud music and stamping around the room very loudly but staff handled my complaint very well. I also appear to have had an allergic reaction to whatever detergent is used to clean the sheets.

Only one night, but room was elegant and what I needed, and the staff very friendly and helpful, a fan in room which was much appreciated and what you expect from this company.

Had a one night stay. Receptionist was helpful getting us into our room early. Room was clean and tidy, there is no Aircon but a fan was provided. Pre booked breakfast which was excellent but there is a McDonald's 50m away if you so desire. Decent Premier Inn ideally located next to M4.

The hotel is located next to a large roundabout so there is a lot of road noise. The windows have secondary glazing which helped with the noise but didn't stop it completely. The room itself was lovely with the typical premier inn bed & decor.

2nd night at this premier, room very clean, and comfortable. Probably one of the refurbished ones. Staff helpful, friendly. Breakfast in the beefeater really good, freshly cooked to personal taste, have stayed in other establishments very close to here and this is definitely the better choice.

The room was damp, you could smell it and it was very noisy you could hear all of the traffic from the main road. We got into the room around 2300 and checked out by 530 due to not being able to sleep through the noise with damp in air. An absolute shame as we've stayed here before and the staff are wonderful as they are at all of the other premiers we've used.

Stayed here many times and it's ok.
Our room on the ground floor was a bit smelly from what smelt like damp, but with the referb that's taking place hopefully this will be sorted.
The staff a very polite, which is always a plus.

Only complaint is that it gets way too hot in the night.

Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. What you would expect from a Premier Inn.

Rooms were ok, standard premier inn rooms, but check inn was a long process as staff member ignored requests to skip the details about restaurant times etc so felt drawn out and quite a queue formed and then there was some mix up with keys.

Quality 1st class inn but could improve on its location access with satnav.

Hit and miss with the food. Some of it was really nice. Some was overcooked others undercooked. Some served cold. Not good enough quality for the money but not too expensive. Good service and atmosphere.
