The only place I can start with this review is to say that this is the worst experience I’ve ever received.
A party of 6, 2 people had and ate their food before any more food was delivered. Then mine and my partners food was delivered. My steaks and peppercorn sauce were not even like warm, They were cold. Sent mine back. My partner cut into her chicken only to find it was raw. This was also sent back. Then the other 2 members of the party received their food. One of these meals sadly had blatantly been warmed in the microwave. If I can find one positive it was that the starters were delivered together and were good. Sadly this made us even more disappointed at the service and quality of the main meals. In all fairness to the bar staff they couldn’t be any more apologetic and offered full refunds.

Couldn't fault the food with adults tonite but kids sausages were overcooked as if the chef couldn't be bothered. It was busy. But this pub has gone down hill used to be so good. Also we have a kid with autism and he didn't like the table. And u guys wouldn't change it. Doubt we will come back.

My sister and I went there yesterday the good is Lovely and the staff are really nice they check on you to see if everything's ok for you I was really impressed with the service there and you get value for your money.

Lovely meals and friendly staff.

After a few chaotic local meals recently we were really impressed with our visit to the New Inn this evening. Covid regulations being followed, friendly staff, great food and very speedy service. Got everything right where a lot of other more expensive establishments are failing.

Took the family for a meal tonight and the service was lightning fast, food was superb, staff friendly and the atmosphere great. Thank you. ☺️

Great food and a top service.

Due to the social distancing I didnt think the staff was up to it. The signs were clear and most customers were following the arrows. Staff was just doing what they want. Then had the cheek to tell a customer off for not following the arrows. Some staff wore the face shield on they're head not face. Others served food without masks etc. So I wont be going back. Shame cos the food was good and staff were too. However I would not want to pick up the virus …

Given 2 diet cokes when asked for full fat. And chef called our food was ready. All staff done is kept talking at the bar. So chef had to bring out the food. Not good service … food lovely thou. Complainants to the chef. And place really needs tidying up. Rough looking these days.

Thank you for supporting your local school Langstone primary by supplying fresh coffee and bacon rolls to our school shopping trip! It raises much needed funds for the school and we massively appreciate it. The bacon rolls were delicious too will be visiting again very soon.

I usually have extremely good experiences here but today sun 10th Nov I have to say the food was luke warm but was too hungry to wait for replacement the venue was very busy, however standards shouldn't slip just because you're busier than normal. That said I will return.

We had our wedding reception here. We did it all through jo who was amazing and went above and beyond for us. Was beautifully decorated, we opted for the silver buffet, food was well presented and tasted amazing. All staff really nice and helpful. Jo made sure she had extra staff on so everything went smoothly. Overall it was a really lovely day (thanks to all the staff) that we will remember always.

We came up tonight for a bar meal and sat in the bar with our dog. I was very disappointed to be told no food was going to be served due to staff walking out! Poor customer service for regular customers.

Food was awful waited 1hour 45 minutes for food that some couldn't eat came out all different times canceled 1 of the starters cos everyone had finished plus side they did refund the money for 11 meals even though some ate theres wasn't even busy poor waiter and waitress did there best I say sack the manager and the chef spoilt my granddaughters 13th birthday meal.

Staff were all lovely but the food was awful. It seemed quiet so there’s no excuse for bad quality food.
Onion rings were very soggy, baked beans were cold, steak seemed warmed up not freshly cooked, pepper corn sauce was tasteless.
Won’t be eating here again!
Very disappointed as it cost over £30 We would of had a more tastier meal at Mc D’s
Won’t be recommending to family and friends.

Food wasn't the best, my daughters order had the wrong side I requested beans with her meal and ended up with dried out carrot sticks and cucumber, although the waitress did change this she brought out a tiny little China pot with some beans in, the kids rice I assumed would be just normal rice but it came with what looked like butternut squash mashed into it with carrots and sweet corn? For dessert the I asked for a diary free alternative and was Offered a fruit pot for my daughter which I thought great she'll love that! Only for it to come in a plastic shop bought pot with two different cut up pieces of fruit in water. Surely fresh fruit would of been a cheaper alternative? Anyway. I had the half chicken with seasoned fries and mexican rice and was quite disappointed with what I received. My chicken was bone dry and I assumed that when you pick a sauce the chicken is cooked in that not just receive a pot of sauce to pour ontop, the rice was okay but very watery and the season chips was actually the best part of my meal but for the £10 the meal cost I had a very small portion. We haven't been since the restaurant has changed it's name and menu and sadly we won't be returning, I know your food is cheap but sadly the price does show in the food quality.

Myself and my friend booked to stay at the new inn for a couple of days while showjumping nearby and we would both like to say how fantastic our stay has been! Hotel room was clean & tidy and food has been amazing every day! Staff are so helpful too which made our visit even better. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Had a mothers day up here sunday. Gone right down hill was tastless. My sons cooked dinner was still frozen an taste dreadfull my daughter had jacket potato had a job to swollow it it was so dry my mums meal she left it as it come out cold. They forgot my brothers steak on his mixed grill. This place used to be so nice but sad to say we will never return again it was just awful.

Went to the wacky warehouse in the new inn today with friends and our children and I'm appalled at the bad management and service we received. Waited an hour and twenty minutes for our food to arrive. Had to ask the waitress twice where the children's meals were and she said she would check but would just carry on with something else. When the food arrived it was cold so my little girl wouldn't even eat it. It then took a further half hour for the children's desserts to arrive in which I had to ask 3 times where it was, nobody seemed to know what was going on. The manager was stood at the till having a go at a young waitress and completely ignored me. Won't be returning after this awful visit. The staff were miserable and the service was shocking.

Went for a nice family meal ending up leaving after 1 hour and 20 mins of waiting for food even though there was only 3 tables being used, in the time I was waiting I watched other customers come in and order and receive their food including staff. Appalling service and when I went to pay for my drinks after having enough of waiting I was told to sit back down as my order would be out in a minute, no way to treat a customer!
