Absolutely amazing food last night. We both had the roast & it was delicious. If I’m going to be critical they could buy some new knives. Food was excellent & service good although the bill did take a long time but it was extremely busy.

We had a meal in her tonight. Staff and food were fantastic. Thank you again we will be back.

I am so impressed with everything at The Tower. Staff, food, service, amenities, what a wonderful family friendly place. There is a children’s play frame and the outside area is wonderful especially on a sunny day. The food was exceptional. Home cooked and really tasty. I’m sad we’ve only just discovered it on our last day of holiday. Thank you! Wonderful experience.

The staff are very friendly even though they never stop it is lovely to see how buoys they are even when following all the COVID rules. The food is top quality this is my fourth visit and it never disappoints. Thank you to the staff they work so hard.

Fabulous afternoon teas today for an early Mother’s Day treat — highly recommended — thank you from the Hogg family — I would post pics but we got overexcited with the eating and forgot to take any.

Went here for Christmas dinner with a family of 10, every starter main and desert looked and tasted amazing. Best cooked steak I’ve ever ate and the best meal I’ve had this year.

Had an amazing Christmas dinner at the Tower yesterday! 7 adults & 3 children, meals came out with good timings inbetween no issues at all & amazing food. Definitely one of the best meals I've had in a while :)

Went today for special Birthday meal, the waitress was very efficient, friendly and looked after us well considering all the restrictions in place. However the food was very disappointing, None of us were rely enthralled with our meals. Shame as it put bit of a damper on what was a special day! such a shame as had been before and had lovely food.

The Tower was recommended to me by the B&B I was staying at for hillwalking, so booked to eat there the 3 nights. Great food, really good friendly atmosphere, the owner's and staff are brilliant and make you feel welcome even though you are on your own.

If you like chicken, haggis & crushed potato's I'd rcommend the chicken supreme, friendly atmosphere & staff, lovely experience!

Just spent three nights in the Thistle Room. Beautiful room, clean and spacious. We ate in the restaurant downstairs each night as the food was so good. Excellent service from staff, always friendly and polite. Will definitely be back. Wee gem of a place.

A great place to meet up with friends & family. Beautiful bar, lots of seating and a lovely back patio view a gorgeous view.

Excellent place to stay — ran by a very friendly couple. Nice beer garden and bar, plus food looks good too. Highly recommend staying here, or just pop in for a drink or dinner.

Really enjoyed "Steak Tuesday"! One of the best steaks I've had — cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, lovely atmosphere, good company, and stayed until closing time! Well done Kayleigh and the team!

An OK meal. Good service and friendly staff. Expensive Guinness and food was OK. Sorry I can't say it was better. Went for their deal two courses for £10, found the deal menu so limited bought off the main menu. Left wanting. Could do better.

The Tower has an amazing family atmosphere, dogs are welcome & have their own doggy menu! The beer garden is the best within miles & has amazing views for miles. The food is incredibly good & the breakfasts are so good, we don't have to stop at service stations for over priced junk food! The staff are all friendly & can't do enough to help you, & always smiling. The whole place is spotless. I sincerely recommend The Tower for meals, accommodation & a wee drink!

Nice standard gastro pub menu, lovely service, child menu good but a little pricey for amount you get, however food is tasty. Outdated deco, very little parking.

Sat in the lounge area. Was very clean, light and quiet. Quick service and great food at great prices. Definitely be back!

Last time we had just sitting with beer and lovely view. Yesterday it was dinner. BBQ Ribs and Chop Pork on bone for fair price. Waiters were attentive and quick. Clean toilets.

Board outside premises says 'Open for food' so we went in. There were no staff around so we saw an empty table and sat down. A few minutes later a man approached us and asked if he could help us with a tone of 'what are you doing here? ' We looked at him startled and he asked if we had just walked in. We said we had, and he replied that he wasn't too sure and would have to check as they were rather busy in the kitchen. He went away and never returned. Another female member of staff walked past us 2 or 3 times ignoring us. We felt very unwelcome and the tone of this man was nothing but rude. We are visitors to Crieff and are staying for the week in the town and we're far from impressed. So after waiting another few minutes we got up and left. Nowhere outside the premises does it say to book first and we shall not be returning here. We walked further up the road to Avanti and were greeted warmly with a smile. This incident gave a very poor impression of The Tower and would have posted this zero star if there were such an option.

It's a solid 4.5 really. One of better executed pub food around in a friendly and relaxed surrounding. Steak and ale pie is all encrusted and makes a wonderful crackling noise when you get into it. It's full of chunky pieces of beef and comes with some extra gravy for the pastry. Superb. Cullen skunk was a wee too salty though. The bar is cosy and dog friendly. Bonus.

I didn't feel it lived up to its reputation. It was pub food, but not amazing, and the service wasn't particularly great either.

They advertise lunches but we were turned away because they were too busy in the kitchen. They had eight diners and couldn't cope with any more. Don't know how they will survive.

Good food. Reasonable price… Would advise booking on Friday or Saturday night… Gets very busy.

Cosy and friendly place with decent food.

I have eaten in the Tower on many occasions the food is excellent and I have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and dogs are welcome in the bar and beer garden. A sense of humour is an essential requirement for entry into this establishment.

This place is outstanding! Booked a few days away after our wedding and we are so glad we found this place. Staff are amazing and so friendly, extremely helpful. Anna and Bob the owners are extremely nice and welcoming and Bobs up for a good bit of banter. The place has loads of wee quirky signs that definitely reflect the owners sense of humour. Now my favourite part is the FOOD! The food is to die for. We had The Thistle apartment and it is gorgeous. Love the place so much that we are already planning when we are coming back! x.
