I stayed at this cottage for two nights last week while I was visiting friends from Newcastle. I was welcomed into the B&B by the landlady, Joan, who was absolutely lovely and made me feel welcome instantly. The room I stayed in was very nice, the beds were very comfortable, and the room was spotless. Breakfast served in the morning was very tasty and it was made fresh by Joan. Stone Cottage has a very warm atmosphere, and I had a pleasant stay from start to finish. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area to stay at this B&B as I have stayed in other B&B’s around the area and this one totally outshines them all!
Lovely place to stay… Newly refurbished rooms, daily cleaning/emptying of the bin etc, breakfast was awesome! Full english with cereals provided as well as toast and pots of tea and coffee! Lovely location too — just outside of ponteland village where there are many pubs and places to eat evening meals, and just a couple of minuets walk to the metro, situated at newcastle airport, into newcastle city centre where there are plenty shops and restaurants… Would definitely recommend this cosy B&B, lovely stay, lovely family and lovely little dog :)
