Fabulous atmosphere great service.

Sunday lunch was one of the best we have had, food perfect, great staff and nice surroundings to eat (upstairs)

Five Star food! First class service and delicious food was there this Sunday the portions are huge with gorgeous side dishes, desserts amazing Thank you guys wishing you all the very best x Andria & Nick x.

I messaged them twice following a less than favourable experience, offering advice to improve their understanding of hidden disabilities and they didn't respond. There are a few gorgeous, welcoming places in ponteland to enjoy a drink and a meal. This is not one of them. It looks beautiful but sadly I couldn't find out.

What A discussing experience I had! I visited the Diamond Inn to discuss about renting the venue for my wedding. After few months I have received a letter with £100 fine for having parked my car at their car park. I will never ever visit this place again if they don't sort this out.

SCAM SCAM SCAM Absolutely Awful experience. Disgusting service and horrible management. I have never visited an establishment that serves so many underage drinkers and have the cheek to ignore and belittle customers. A car park that use to be free to park for customers and now is a running scam for innocent customers like myself not being aware of the reg input on a super busy evening where it was already trouble walking from one end to the other. The so called manager Ben is inadequate of his job, he should be retrained or sacked immediately for speaking to customers in such a neglectful way and blaming them for doing something that was unintentionally done. I’ve shown evidence that I’ve been in that evening, photos of the place and the inadequate manager lippy Ben speaking like a robot over my voice saying “it is not our responsibility for you to type in your registration plate it is all clearly displayed”. They couldn’t even do anything about the charge because the company that runs the car park is based in Liverpool. I have no words on how stupid this is. That Lippy Ben is just a bully that has insecurity issues, totally inadequate of his job and should never speak to customers in such a horrible manner. We are human just like yourself, you’re no better than one or another, show some bloody compassion and help ripped off customers like us. Never felt so ripped off in my life.

Bloody awful is the best I can say. Called in for mid week lunch. The place looks very shabby and dark. Ripped seating by the fire. Better seating round other side of bar but freezing cold. Disappointed that they only do snacks now so settled for a toasties and soup. Stale bread limp side salad and microwaved stringy ham soup in a paper cup. That and a glass of wine came to £10. The lady at the bar was lovely but the barman was scruffily dressed in oversized clothing, even though he's a big fella, and showed no thought to his customers who were eating whilst he bent to do the fire revealing where you "could park your bike". This place used to be so quaint yet now it is a total dive and I for one won't be going back.

The pub is currently running a dodgy car parking scheme with civic enforcement Liverpool. Honest customers who call in for a drink are being hit with a £100 fine. The manager informed me that there is adequate signage… I can assure you that there is not. What a terrible way to treat paying customers. If you have to visit the Diamond Inn Ponteland please do not park in the pub car park. Park elsewhere in the village \ town.

Excellent spent 2 nights room spotless service was great breakfast were lovely all the staff friendly and helpfull from the cleans to the staff in the bar. Thank you.

We celebrated a 70th birthday party on Saturday 12th may 2018.
The bufet was amazing couldn't fault it & really good value for money, we used the pubs own DJ and we had a fabulous night & the bar staff where great & friendly, friends from Scotland stayed over at the hotel attached to the Diamond, asked to change rooms as the room was dog friendly and they are allergic to dogs, not a problem and the rooms and breakfast where great, I would recommend the diamond to any body. Well done to you's all.

Stayed here to celebrate a good friends birthday party with another 5 couples. Lovely rooms and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Thank you x.
