We were there because kingshouse hostel was closed and we walked the West Highland way. But it was a pretty good choice and the glen is absolutely amazing. We took the bus from glencoe skiresort to Glencoe visitors center… if you don’t want to walk through an ice cold river… get off at glencoe village to the next it’s a 5min walk.

Clean, well equipped, comfy and awesome showers.

Great place to stay. Clean well equipped hostel, Wi-Fi could be better, though.

Meh, could definitely use some renovation: adding windows through which you can see outside, for instance. New lighting, new carpets, … Generally it's not too bad, but it's not that great either. The position is kinda unfortunate if you're travelling by bus, you'll need to get off at "Glencoe Crossroads" and walk a wee bit. The price for the breakfast is just insane, should totally be lowered. The staff was friendly though.

Cheap and cheerful in great surroundings. Nice big self catering kitchen. Rooms are decent. Car park is quite small so get there quick. Secluded area so you will struggle to find essential ingredients like sugar, coffee & milk so make sure you have them or buy them enroute. I was impressed by the general cleanliness of the communal bathroom and toilets. Well worth the 4 star rating for the price.

The staff was very friendly especially the manager who let me stay in because of my bad health. Food options are available but not so great. The hostel is approximately 30 minutes away from the main road which was difficult for me to reach on foot with my backpacks. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is it.

Stayed here 2nd week in January so fairly quiet. Service and hospitality was very friendly. I was able to get up in the mountains in full winter conditions and the Claghaig Inn is just down the road.

Great place, surrounded by mountains. Staff and visitors are very friendly. Facilities are new and clean. Will go back.

What you would expect from a hostel. The best Wi-Fi service was very very bad.

Super sleep for people with not so big purse;)
Here are the cleanest showers I have ever seen in the UK the rooms are a little dated but also Clean.
The biggest advantage is at the same time also the biggest disadvantage… it is very remote, great for hiking trips, easy through the door and pure in the Highlands for that, the nearest grocery is a half hour walk away certain things can however be found in the hostel Would come back at any time:)
