We stayed two nights at Strath Lodge in June and our only regret is that we didn’t book longer! The house is beautiful, the scenery picturesque and Dawn and Lawrence were fantastic hosts. They even went above and beyond in helping arrange some champagne and chocolate on arrival for our two friends who got engaged the day before on our travels! The breakfast was an absolute highlight (highly recommend the porridge), only second perhaps to the king sized cloud-like beds — perfect to come home to after a day on the mountains. Plus, relaxing on the deck or in the garden was the perfect way to take in our surroundings and feel instantly relaxed. Dawn was so wonderful and gave us so many fantastic recommendations, not only on where to walk, hike and eat in the local area, but also for the rest of our trip as we headed onwards. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

Absolutely outstanding place to stay. Dawn and Laurence could not have done more from arrival to departure. Impeccable rooms, and kept to a very very high standard. Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay, and will definitely be coming back and recommending to everyone Thank you so much.

Our stay at Strath Lodge was one of the highlights of our 8 day road trip around Scotland. Dawn was so friendly and helpful — giving us some amazing recommendations for what to see and do around Glencoe. The room was unbelievable — super clean and huge with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The bathroom was to die for with a huge shower and everything else you need. Thank you for everything Dawn. We can’t wait to return.

It has been done to the highest standard and Dawn was extremely helpful upon check in.
There is an extensive breakfast menu, continental or full cooked.
The property is spacious and there is lots of information on things to see and do in the area.

My partner and I have just had an unbelievable weekend getaway in Glencoe! The majority of this was down to the two owners of Strath Lodge; Dawn & Laurence. From the moment we stepped into their beautiful BnB we were treated like family. Both Dawn & Laurence have an abundance of knowledge of the surrounding areas and were able to pass on this knowledge to guide us on our first Munro which was a great help! To fuel us for our weekend of hiking we were provided an outstanding breakfast selection. My partner had a full Scottish breakfast on the first morning and I had poached eggs on toast and there was not one thing to fault. I then had the porridge on the second morning and my partner had scrambled eggs with salmon and both were absolutely stunning, so it seems like whatever you eat here you will not be disappointed. Coming home from such a long and miserable rainy day to the cosiest bed was also one of my favourite things. The bed is so comfy and the room was nice and toasty for us getting back. We can’t thank Dawn & Laurence enough. We absolutely loved Strath Lodge and will certainly be making this a yearly retreat! We would thoroughly recommend paying Strath Lodge a visit!

Huge super-king size beds, spacious rooms, sumptuous bedding, hearty breakfasts, great knowledgeable hosts, located in the heart of Glencoe! We will be back!

Stayed here several times now, fantastic place, exceptionally comfortable beds, faultless breakfasts, knowledgeable and very friendly hosts in a superb location in the heart of Glencoe.

Amazing lodge between Glencoe city and Glencoe Valley. Most friendly hosted. Perfect breakfast to get you on your way for a day hike trough the mountains. Beautiful rooms and mutual area's.

By far the best B&B I ever stayed in. Ann and Dan are great hosts and the surroundings are stunning!
