Just home from a fantastic week away. We stayed in the Aviemore hotel in a family room. Kids were delighted with the bunk beds and having their own tv. Resort is fantastic so much for the kids to do. Swimming pool was brilliant, grass sledging and the huge play park. Highly recommend the evening kids entertainment the staff were awesome with the kids and the cabaret entertainment afterwards was brilliant. We would love to go back.
Stayed here start of June, had a lovely time, room was clean enough. Kids soft play, pool and play rooms were really close to our room which was perfect for us and our little girl. Few things that could be improved though. My husband wanted to watch the football so we decided to go to the sports bar and maybe get something eat at the same time, unfortunately there isn't anything for eating at the sports bar which wasn't great, even if it was only bar snacks that would have done. On our last morning we hadn't been told when we had to vacate our room, assuming it was the normal 10ish, we went down for breakfast at 8.30am, came back at 9.10am and our rooms were stripped, no towels or anything. Just as well we had already showered. Our bags which had been sat on the bed along with other personal items had been moved to the floor. My husband did speak to reception as we checked out and found out check out wasn't until 11! They did apologise and slightly compensated us but being crazy ocd with packing and making sure I have everything it stressed me out! I would stay here again if coming to aviemore but mainly because of the facilities for kids, nothing else.

Stayed in February, we got locked out of our room due to hotel error as they had charged us for someone else's desserts. My 4 year found a used medical needle on the floor and pricked her finger. Very possible it's been dropped by accident by another guest but the hotels attitude has been disgraceful. No phone call, no apology, part refund and passed on to insurance company to make sure we have no ground to sue. We were not allowed to check with other customers about medical conditions and they refused to do so. We now have 1 year of hep b vaccinations and blood tests to check she hasn't contracted HIV. A simple "We're so sorry this happened in our hotel" and some concerned follow up phone calls would have been great. MD Ian Peck has not called us once. Disgrace of a business. I do not recommend staying here.
