Cairngorm Hotel is a beautiful hotel where great memories are made. The staff is very nice and make you feel like family. Would definitely reccomend this hotel. Thank you so much for the awesome memories. I really hope to visit Scotland again one day❤️

Was here for a few nights in March and have returned for dinner with the whole family and can't recommend this place enough. food is excellent and service is friendly.

Fantastic food amazing staff we had a lovely 3 night break.

Really really disappointed, booked this at the hotel at the last minute and got the only room left, the room was a small double and it cost £150 for 1 night. Staff were ok and the breakfast was decent. I knew the room was going to be snug but I had expected something nice for £150, it was very basic, running the shower sounded like an elephant being strangled and the sink water didn’t run away which wasn’t very present, we did complain but nothing was done about it. Avoid room 208! I had expected some decent toiletries but we got 2 miniature all in one shower gel and shampoo. Room was really tired and the paint job looked as if it had been done by Stevie Wonder, if this is the best Scotland has to offer no wonder so many of us go abroad.

Just had lunch, really friendly and helpful staff, great ambiance and the was really good, will definitely going back.

Can't recommend the hotel, staff and management highly enough. Food unbelievably good and fabulous rooms. Just had our wedding here and an extended stay for us and many of our guests and couldn't fault a single thing. Amazing.

Love the atmosphere in and outside at the Cairngorm. Staff friendly and yet get beautiful meal at reasonable prices. They cater for everyone by offering different potion sizes kids, teens, seniors and adults all priced accordingly. Just love it.

Super meal at the Cairngorm Hotel tonight in Aviemore. Couldn’t recommend the hotel highly enough. With an average food choice at the hotel we were staying at we wandered into Aviemore and came across the Cairngorm, so glad we did! Amazing food, lively atmosphere, and happy, efficient staff. An absolute gem of a find. Go here! Xxx.

Me and my partner had a meal at the Cairngorm Hotel at supper time today. For prob one of the busiest days of the year the service we got and the meal was first class. We would recommend it to any friends and when ever we are back in Aviemore we will eat here cheers.

We went for dinner on the 1st of January. What a fantastic meal to the start of the year. Had the scallops then the haggis lasagne… wow. Both were amazing but my friends food looked great too. Staff were lovely and friendly even with it being busy. Would highly recommend. Thanks everyone was fantastic…

-The rooms are rather small and dark. We had the room overlooking the porch, the kitchen, on the 24 hours generators brummten. +The bathroom was newly renovated.

Went for evening meal only. I have to say what an incredibly well run restaurant, really really busy, queue system works well. Saturday night and everyone was in high spirits, traditional bag piper topped it off for those with birthdays. Food was quick and superb. Very well priced. I noticed most tables left tips for the staff, one staff member with dark hair and pony tail who had been there for three years, truly exemplary never missed a thing, worked incredibly hard. Will be back again soon.

Very nice old building, very centrally located. Stylish décor and a Restaurant with typical Scottish dishes. The water pressure of the shower was too low.

I visit Aviemore 3 or 4 times a year with my family and always eat at the Cairngorm. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff are all great. Couldn't fault it on anything. The staff make the hotel. Incredibly friendly and helpful. An easy 5 out of 5

Just back in Glasgow after a 3 night stay at The Cairngorm! The welcome from Sandra was warm and efficient. The room was fine, if lacking a bit in storage… however the view was SPECTACULAR! — right out onto the station (itself so quaint! ) but beyond to the Cairngorms themselves! WOW! The reason for being up was the wedding of our niece on the Friday. I really don't think I've been to such a well organised and smoothly run wedding… due in no small way to Craig and his staff! They were ALWAYS friendly and willing to do the slightest thing to ensure our comfort and enjoyment! We had one lunch and one dinner, plus of course the 3 breakfasts! The waiting staff were excellent at their job BUT also warm and friendly, with often a wee extra word or joke… which as we all know in this extremely competitive hospitality world, is a massive PLUS! It makes such a difference! The food AT ALL MEALS, including the Wedding meal, WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! It wasn't pretentious but it was good, tasty, well-presented and prepared! Valerie in the Dining room in the mornings made us so welcome as well as serving us punctually and always in a friendly way. Gerry, the Manager, could perhaps smile a bit more! — BUT he was on hand constantly, checking, getting you a table without too much of a wait, clearing up and setting. Our experience will hopefully be repeated. Gold stars all round!

My family have been visiting Aviemore 3 or 4 times a year for the past 10 years. We always eat in the Cairngorm Hotel. The food is fantastic, the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The bar is always busy and there's always something on at the weekends. This is my 7 year old sons favourite place to eat, anywhere.

Dropped in here for a late lunch. Warmly welcomed and promptly shown a table. Service was great and food was perfect. Drinks also well priced. Couldn't fault it except having the fire going would have been nice. However it was a warm day!

Been coming to The Cairngorm Hotel every year for over 30 years. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The menu is varied, locally sourced and themed, of good quality and well presented. Prices are fair and especially good if you use a discount voucher. The bar is welcoming and very lively on karaoke and live entertainment nights. P.
