Terrible experience. The restaurant does not have the capacity to have all the residents so the staffs allocate us to a location away from our rooms. If they do not have the ability to provide the breakfast to every customer that paid for, they should not guarantee a meal in the first place. The room is also a no good. Old, hopeless out of date facilities, and dusty environment. Not recommended.

Reception staff we're really helpful, room was really nice. The only thing was the fact the catering staff looked quite miserable but overall really nice stay.

A fairly standard hotel. We booked afternoon tea and when we arrived we were shown to the only table with a table cloth on it and served the tea. The tea itself was good but the surroundings left a lot to be desired. The room was ok and the bed comfortable but nothing special. The hotel hosts a set of Tesla Superchargers which proved very useful.

Lazy staff Service. Dinner to the group that we were poorly organized, slow, scarce.

I enjoyed the hotel and the food, was great having a Tesla Supercharger on site! Made charging up for the drive home much easier!

I love it here! Rooms are very luxurious and comfortable. Great location for the great outdoors!

After booking a sister Hotel we arrived to find the hotel that we can book was closed and was moved over to the Highland hotel I was told that this is an upgrade this hotel was more of a family hotel with a large swimming pool and fun slides the room was dark the furniture had seen better days and we were told thr room was executive room and the room is usually 180 per night bed and breakfast. The first nigh we where there the hot water was warm. Breakfast was great We left the hotel around about 8 o'clock to go snowboarding and returned at 5 only to find out our room had not been made Cold and wet we got changed and a 6 pm some one came to make our beds Which we told them that I had all ready made the bed as we where makes the bed we found some one socks old slippers and a load of paper work under the bed lol 180 per night my ass we did not eat at night at this place be cause of staff attitude 2nd morning the breakfast was OK 8.30 Cheque was told that we had booked 3 night not 2 so after sorting that out. Some how we managed to miss the question how was your stay lol would not recommend this place there are loads if great places around have a shop around before booking here.

Great place for a short break. Lots of activities for families and good choices for food.

Great stay. Rooms were big and clean. Food was delicious and staff were friendly and helpful. Our 2 year old loved the swimming pool and soft play.

Staff were amazing and friendly during our stay. Room was cosy and didn't have a lot of room to place our bags for accessibility. Beds were comfortable, and pillows were soft.

This is the premier hotel onvthenresort and the rooms are a good size and the leisure centre is at the end of the corridor. The restaurant is very good.

3 separate hotels and lodges all set in beautiful grounds in the heart of Aviemore town. Food was good and the sauna/steam room was much needed after a day of driving.

Really spacious comfortable room. Friendly staff and one of the best breakfast buffets in the country made this a lovely pre Christmas stay. Seeing happy children talking to elves at breakfast as if this was an everyday event was priceless. This is a super place to bring your kids in the run up to the festivities.

Perfect Location. Great place to stay here for few days. Actually im stating here for there days with a group from Continental Europe.

Very good hotel complex located in a beautiful place. With indoor pool, cinema and other things I haven't had time to enjoy. Recommended 100%

Stayed at the lodges here, were nice and we had a good time. Kids loved the pool but the lodges we in need of some TLC. Looking dated and worn. Little things like doors that creaked and didn't shut right. Place has Wi-Fi both 2.4 and 5ghz. The 5ghz is configured incorrectly but still works. I would go back but very over privrd.

This hotel is located within a holiday resort where there are plenty of activities to suit various types of people and for ages ranging from the young to the not-so-young. The hotel is considered to be luxurious with courteous staffs. Booking for the restaurant is highly recommended, especially during busy hours and days. There are plenty of parking spaces within the resort. There is free use of the pool and gym facilities for guests.

The attention is bad for the type of Hotel. The double rooms are girls (eye is a complex and has several buildings). In the building we were assigned has a single elevator boy.
The dinner is not elaborate and the waiters do not serve you well. They want to get the customers off.
For what it's worth I wouldn't choose it again.

This is a nice hotel. The many many doors make me feel like I'm in an episode of mystery science theater but the room is nice and the front desk folks are pleasant. I'm on California time and in a Saturday night it would be nice if the restaurant was still serving but that's OK. I just walked to a pub where a slew of ladies were dressed as Disney Princesses so that was fun. And the hotel is close-ish to the ropes course we did today as well as the to the lovely wedding we attended.

Stayed here for a conference along with 100 other delegates. Nice enough room — clean and modern with blackout curtains. Huge bed that gave me a good night's sleep. Keep your key card away from your phone and wallet as they're hyper sensitive. I had to get mine reset several times within the first 24 hours. Decent hot and cold buffet breakfast, though service was very slow one morning.

Stayed at hotel for golf trip. Rooms comfortable enough but very small shower room only. No bath. Toiletries not replenished and soundproofing could be better. Staff friendly enough, the dining staff were clearly inexperienced and need more senior supervision.

Nice rooms and bathrooms. Comfy beds. Great restaurant. Beautiful location.

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was good, staff all very friendly and helpful & flights was fantastic.

Swimming pool is great for the kids. Steakhouse was very good. The Italian restaurant was also very good and child friendly.

Macdonald hotel has got a very good leasure centre with swimming pool and soft play area for kids. We are frequent visitors. Swim and lunch is a great deal.

Friendly staff and lovely place to stay at.

Rooms are lovely, Steakhouse is fantastic, staff have all been wonderful and we have enjoyed the facilities. Our meal in the Italian restaurant was just OK though, service was good, food was not bad but it lacked atmosphere. In all, every staff member we met was happy, friendly and helpful.

Joyless supermarket atmosphere. About as far removed from the spirit of the cairngorms as it's possible to be.
