It's a bit tired and outdated and the room we had was small. But it was spotless. Bed comfy sheets crisp and clean. Breakfast excellent and staff very friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. AND they welcome dogs. Can't get better than that.

I stayed at your hotel last night and can honestly say it’s the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. The rooms looks lovely and modern on your website, but, they are actually worse than disgusting. Our room had dirty towels hanging up, used soap in the sink, used mugs with sugar and coffee all over the side and a pair of shoes that someone had left. There were cracks in the walls, peeling paint everywhere, holes in the ceilings, dirty stained chairs. The list goes on. How you can advertise and charge what you do is beyond me. I can honestly say I will never stay there again or recommend tour hotel to anyone. The reviews on Trip Advisor are shocking, all 1 star. I’m just gutted I didn’t check Trip Advisor before booking. You should be ashamed of yourselves! I would post the video of our room, but I swore on it.

Nothing too much trouble very nice hotel and pleasant would recommend.

Cant praise Paul and Dave enough, both are absolute champion lads, from the moment I stepped foot in their hotel they were welcoming, friendly and a sincere pleasure to be around, the meals were bloody massive and delicious (I had both breakfast and evening meal) the rooms clean, comfortable and very traditional which I loved and the beach is literally on the doorstep, well worth the money and I will certainly be coming again.

I was recommended the whitehouse hotel from a family member, our stay did not disappoint, EVERY member of staff bent over backwards to make sure we have a great stay, food was fantastic and big portions too!
Paul and his team are all fantastic, they all went out the way to make us all feel welcome and make the kids laugh and honestly cannot wait to go back again.

Enjoyed a very comfortable five nights here. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is in an ideal location; just five mins to the local shops, bars, beach and pier. Definitely recommend this hotel!

We've just returned from an over night stay here,, too many people knock the place! It's exactly as you expect for the price you pay but with the added bonus of sea-front location and with shops bars etc around the corner, room was clean and tidy and the staff were all helpful and pleasant, it's got a great little snug area by the bar, ideal to meet people and have a good convo, cheers owners and staff, real nice to meet you, see you again soon.

A great hotel to spend a relaxing time. We stay here for 7 weeks every year. Paul, loz and Matt are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is to much trouble, to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

5 star service at a bargin price! Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay special. Dave cooks fantastic food, again at a bargain price, and I'd highly recommend the roasts which are beautiful! Only came back home today after a week away and already discussing when to go back!

Was our anniversary. I got engaged surprised. We only stayed 3 days but I loved it. The staff was nice. And nice and cheap.

Disgusting rooms/only one tap in shower (cold tap) /no hair dryer/no toiletries/very noisy/disgusting views! /unclean/rubbish stacked up/ carpets filthy!

Cheap and cheerful, and we had an amazing view. Honestly a bargain for the price. Yeah there were nitpicks but for £40, having a sea view, a big comfy bed, and a spacious room is well worth the money. Would deffo visit again!

After the dreadful reviews I was very worried about what we would find when we arrived at The Whitehouse. We found the hotel to be basic but adequate for the price paid. Room was clean and good size for 2 sharing. Bed was very clean, comfortable with white bedding. Clean towels, bed made etc daily. Wash basin was outside bathroom, but this didn’t bother us at all. Plenty of hot water even later on in the evening! Did not eat or drink in the hotel, so can’t comment but tea, coffee and sugar in room topped up daily. The location of the hotel is excellent, wonderful for the prom, pier, restaurants and shops. We did not have direct contact with the proprietors, always a good sign as no complaining needed! So overall we enjoyed our stay. Yes hotel could do with upgrading in certain areas, mainly down stairs in bar area etc, but this did not concern us as we ate and drank out in local restaurants.

I think the pictures of the rooms on this page are staged for the advert as nothing like that. We booked one night from groupon and was put in an archeic room with scaffolding at the window. A very dated low bed, dark furniture, internal aerial for TV and dated bathroom. Felt like a prison cell. Hotel dated the same. The stale smell on entry put you off. No offer of what's on the menu for dinner was offered. On reading online reviews of the restaurant and with no response from a Very lethargic receptionist. We left in disgust with no solution from the hotel. Not recommended.

Not pleasant… Dirty carpets. Stained walls. Curtain rail hanging down. Dirty coffee mugs. Also smelly. We had windows permanently open and went to another hotel for breakfast. Only positives are location and parking. Would not recommend this place at all.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at The Whitehouse in Llandudno, and I would like to say Thankyou to Paul and his team for our lovely stay. We really enjoyed ourselves and were made to feel welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. Room and shower great, food great, entertainment great. Thanks again.

Great location and views. Also, good price. Now the bad stuff. Our room had the sea view, but all we could see is a large bird s**t on the window. There is a balcony but you cant open the door. Room and facilities were dated. Bed was squeaky.

The hotel was clean but tired needs maintenance, lights hanging off, smoke alarms hanging off, carpets thread bare, tap in the en-suite not fitted, toilet seat not fitted and loose. Some of the above are dangerous and can't meet the registrations. Good breakfast and we'll organized. Graham Hankey.

The view from the hotel was great if your lucky enough to get sea view. Facilities at the hotel were poor couldn't get onto free Wi-Fi. Shower was too hot adjustment didn't work. No t. V signal so no channels and so small anyway. Lift up only enough room for one person and bag at a time.

Stayed there a couple of weeks ago with some friends, the experience caused quite a talking / laughing point at the time and still does!
My bed was clean and comfortable.
The room was dirty and looked like it was last decorated in the 1970's. The shower didn't work and neither did the cold water tap in the bath. The dirty grease marks on the wall above the beds could have been washed off! The whole experience is one that still makes me cringe.
The people were friendly and it was only £35 for a night, however, if the place had a lick of paint and new carpets I'm sure it would be transformed into a hotel you'd want to stay in.
I hope the owners get it done as it's in a fantastic spot with great views.

Friendly warm welcome staff. For what we paid, we are more than happy. Food has been excellent.

My husband and I have just left the hotel. I must admit I read the reviews after booking (silly I know). I seriously considered cancelling after seeing the bad reviews, but decided to give it a chance. We had lovely two days, the hotel it's true is in need of updating but is clean and offers everything necessary for a good break. The staff are lovely and are happy to help with anything. A special Thank you to the young lady in the dining room who served us nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Paul and all your staff and I hope your very busy in the future see you again. Alison.

The Hotel was clean & very competitively priced & staff were very helpful. I was particularly impressed that the dinner menu now has a choice across the three courses & at £10 is a G8 price. Although I paid a £2 surcharge for the Lamb shank ; which was lubberly.

They didn't oversell or undersell when we booked. Advertised as clean and basic which it is but things were broken or didn't work. Lights, handle on the bath. We wanted a break and we had a break. Seemed a little cheaper than the rest but cooked breakfast wasn't included and by the time that was added, price wasn't much different. Plus second night we were there there was entertainment in the hotel. Myself and my boy didn't go but around 11pm an argument started and awoke us. We went downstairs and we're told to go back to our room. When the guest who was arguing asked us if we were ok? Perhaps that's a no with a 12 year old upset. All in all a warm stay with good food although never met the owner it was just assumed that the gentleman sitting in the reception area drinking coffee was the owner. Would have nice to have had a friendly hello.

Stayed room 104 wardrobe door hanging off not a very nice smell in room itchin all night in bed woudnt stay ther again took me hour half to find some were to park.

Nice location but the room is so old and smells, hot water is too hot and difficult to shower. Staff has no customer service skills either.

Nice place to stay over night if you're out all day. Comfy bed and pillows, room is a bit small but decent size for a short stay. The bathroom was small and cold, small shower with not enough water power. If you are a tall person, the shower will not be good for you as the shower head is really low. However, a nice quiet hotel with lovely staff.

We stayed here 2-5 Feb… the staff are really welcoming and helpful nothing is to much trouble. The breakfast was fab set u up for the day. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Will definitely go again.

Great place warm and cosy. Piping hot water whatever time of day. Lovely location and well positioned for shops restaurants and cafes and pubs. This is our third year and we always stay for seven weeks. Will be booking again for next year. Definitely recommend.

Full of ignorant scousers! Stand on youe toes, barged past you… Regret not taking them outside and thrashing them. I will return one night. But only to finish off business with a few of them, ill give the owners a few too for entertaining scum like them.

This Hotel is very warm and friendly and the staff are always happy to help. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room, we had a first floor room with a sea view and it couldn't be better. Many thanks Ray and Lynn.

Its naff. The room was fairly pricey and as I was checking in I was able to see the other guests and the rates they had paid. The decor is very dated, the shower head was broken, there was a dripping sound through the night, the floorboards were creaky, the mattress was pokey and the walls too thin. The only plus is it has a sea view and pleasnt staff.

Nice value for money place to stay. Love sea view.

Badly needs updating the room was very small and cold windows would not stay open had to have the shower curtain changed when we arrived as it was dirty the badroom wall paper was hanging off there was a big hole in the wall by the shower the shower was stained and mouldy the mattress dipped at the side where people had been sitting on it the worse was the old fashioned metal lift our room was a sort distance from the lift every time it was used day and night you heard it going up and down in the room every time the metal door and inside door was pulled open and closed we heard until at least 2am in the morning outside the window is a flat roof the gutting was leaking so all night the rain was falling on to the flat roof as there was a small gap in the window so very drafty and heard the rain the breakfast was ok but not very hot I would not recommend or even stay there again the rooms are tried looking and in need of some t. L. C the wooden floors need screwing down as everyone that walked passed the room or used the stairs they creaked even smelled gas at one point in the evening the owner went round everywhere could not smell it even another guest had said it the owner said it could of been the pilot light from the gas fire in the reception could of gone out we had goupon voucher so didn’t pay the full price so you get what you pay for but even through the rooms and lift definitely need updating and some tlc.

Me and my friend had a great time at the white house the place is full of character and the staff where lovely and very helpful. We will be back!

A little dated but very clean. Cosy and warm. Very reasonable rates. Staff are very helpful. Would stay again without hesitation.

Just got back from another brilliant time enjoyed at the Whitehouse the staff can't do enough to help you 5 star service for no star money excellent value great location already booked again for tinsel & Turkey can't wait.

Well where do I start! I don’t think I will it was terrible every thing was falling off the walls. Well the carpets was bad I took better carpets to the tip the whole place was dirty needs a complete renovation done to it.

Not very good at all. If you want to slum it this is the place for you. Needs knocking down and building again. On a plus point the staff were friendly and nice.

"DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL EVER! Where do we begin- Someone tried to get in our room at 1am in the morning, we were at the highest level, we were scared, huge gap on our door, someone could of obviously look under, Bedbugs/fleas? Whatever they were we all had bites, I had 5, my friend had 8 & my other friend had 3, itchy, felt dirty, The room was dirty, Headboard was broken, Uncomfy beds to sleep on, Uneven floorboards, Moldly, black windows, sills, Sink in the room? toilet in the bathroom? Curtains were hanging off, wouldn't close, No hot water in the morning, Shower didn't work, You could hear other people's toilets flushing in the night, The rules of the hotel are different to what it is online, You walk in the bar & you are just glared at. The staff were miserable & acted weird, I had insults about my hair-I've got Cancer! It felt like a swingers bar because it was so weird, The Elvis tribute act! Omg! Paintwork outside, desperately needs doing, it's the worst looking & odd one out on the front, Breakfast-had a full refund, I couldn't eat mine, burnt toast, fried bread, bacon was bouncing, sausage wasn't cooked, orange juice was warm.

Just returned home from a great week at the Whitehouse. Staff very friendly and allways helpful. Had bed breakfast and evening meal. No complaints at all. Good choices on menu and all food was tasty and well presented. Service at meal times was excellent with attentive waiting staff. Entertainment every night, not allways great, however enjoyed ourselves with the help of Tony Paul on mon, tues and weds night. Hotel is a bit dated but remember you will be staying in a victorian resort and you also get what you pay for. Owners Paul and Loz are a friendly couple who like to take the time to chat with guest's whenever they get the chance. I enjoyed myself so much I rebooked for next year before I left.

You get what you pay for with this hotel, I had a single room which was spacious enough, the bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities are included in the room as well as a TV. Breakfast was OK, again you get what you pay for. It has a good location on right on the sea front and there is some parking at the rear of the hotel if you are lucky enough to get a spot. Great if you're looking for a cheap overnight stay.

Following on from my partners review below, I would just like to give my thoughts on the stay. The place itself is very homely. The rooms (although dated) have plenty of character, offer everything needed, and the bed was extremely comfy. The entertainment on an evening is fantastic, and the staff are very welcoming. I would also like to pass on my compliments to the manager, Paul. We had a slight issue with our room, he was quick to rectify this, was very empathetic, and couldn't have been more helpful. I think everyone would agree, this is probably your 'budget' hotel for the Llandudno coast. But for the price you pay, you really can't ask for much more. Will definitely be coming again soon, and would recommend it to anyone thinking of going! Keep up the good work!

I'm not one to judge a book by its cover but on this occasion I wish I had, as soon as I arrived at this "hotel" myself and partner both looked at each other in embarrassment as I had booked this hotel earlier that morning in absolute desperation because the weather was awful. I would have preferred to sleep in nothing but a dirty towel on cold wet floor. (wasn't really much different staying there) Receptionist on arrival was lovely (it was her first day) and that is the only thing I can give a thumbs up about. The lift was only small and could barely fit myself, partner, 2 small suitcases and a rucksack, if you didn't do well with confined spaces not ideal for you. Arrived in room at 3:30 p. M and room hadn't even been cleaned, no linen on bed, hair in shower, dirty cups, horrible dirty windows and only 1 light worked and even some lights had no bulbs? My skin crawled at the thought of even staying the one night here, and it gets worse. My partner went to ask if they could clean and make the bed and when we had arrived back after being out for about 5 hours, the bed was made yes but found dead insect on pillow case and hairs in "clean towels" no request were dealt with.

Desparately in need of a refurb. Staff pleasant and helpful, food was good.

We had a fantastic sea view room, staff was okay hotel a bit dated could do with a good refurbishment but appart from this we was on the sea front and close to all amenities.

The Whitehouse Hotel is fantastic value for money and a great place to stay The entertainment is fabulous and the staff always work hard for the benefit of customer.

Good budget hotel in the seafront. Very close to shops. At £31per night not bad value.

Disgusting, never never again, wouldn't feed a dog with the food, staff rude n unfriendly, dirty scruffy rooms, mould in shower, beds not remade, mis match 1960's carpets, TV not working, had to walk past the stinky dustbins to get to the carpark, in fact everything that is wrong in the hotel trade apply's to this hotel, The management/ owners need to take a long had look and invest time and money into this hotel.

Ok to stay at as a base for holiday don't look for anything fancy.

This hotel is outdated; it could definitely use an upgrade. However, the staff were fantastic. They are kind and accommodating. They made my stay so much more pleasant. If you want a comfortable bed, free tea and coffee and welcoming staff … for a decent price, stay here.

Had a great 5 day stay at the Whitehouse Hotel! I'd recommend this hotel to any couples who love nightly entertainment and fun and laughter.

Room 207, spacious newly revamped sharing room, sleeps 4, seaview, good food, brilliant price, freshly painted front of building, brilliant staff, great entertainment.

Rooms where filthy carpets where filthy bathroom had mildew all round the tiles food was awlful selling beer they had brought from asda no heating on was freezing cold entertainment was rubbish will never go there again went with travelstyle they sould take it out of brochour.

Just had a great weekend at whitehouse hotel via travelstyle was welcomed by pleasant staff my husband and I were showed to are sea front room it was was clean and tidy food was very good entertaiment wasalso very good will stay in this hotel again.
