Very clean and spacious no disability friendly tho.

Stayed here with friend while wedding shopping! Great location, lovely spotless room and good breakfast and service from Linda. Enjoyable stay.

Stayed one night and the room was ample for what we needed. Warm and clean. We stayed in the guest house across the road. Breakfast was lovely with good choice of cereals etc, but limited hot stuff, although was very good. Friendly efficient staff.

Unhelpful staff. Booked through a third party website and it was incorrectly down as a twin room I had booked. I showed my email to confirm I had booked a double. They seemed not to care and also wouldn't upgrade my room if I didn't pay the difference of price!
I kept the twin room and put the beds together and asked the same woman at reception if she could put a king sheet and duvet on the bed. She said yes ill do this. Came back later that night from the city and bed change wasn't done! Very Unhelpful from start to finish in this hotel! Twin room had stained carpet and stains on walls. Holes in bed base and chipped and worn furniture. I use hotels in Glasgow 3 times a month and will certainly not return here in future sadly!

I stayed at this hotel about 7 years ago with my uncle and it was lovely and quiet and great staff. One I’d definitely like to return to.

The Argyll-Guesthaus is managed by the staff of the Argyll Hotel opposite. It is located on the lower two floors of an older house. The room is in good condition and equipped in proportion to the price. The location is good and there are numerous places for breakfast/lunch/dinner nearby. The large park near the university is within walking distance. For guests with cars, parking tickets are available for the public parking zone (Mon-Fri), which costs 4 pounds per day.
The rooms are a bit dark since on the lower floor is located slightly below street level. For longer stays, you should consider whether you want to do so.

Small room for 1 booked for £44. Can't argue with that. Great location for Hydro gig and West end bars and restaurants. Towels could have been bigger and more tea and coffee provided.

Great location. Exceptional value for money. Room was great with good facilities. Breakfast was delicious and Sue was amazing! Have been here numerous times and is my go-to destination in Glasgow.

Confortable bed, shower is perfect and after 12 minutes. Walking you are intr the Glasgow convention center… To Dowtown is 25 minutes walking, which depending on the weather, totally doable! Good for parking as well!

We spent four nights at the Argyll Guest House.
The room was clean, with enough storage, and nicely decorated. Very nice view of the Kelvingrove Museum.
The hotel is ideally located: lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby, in a pleasant area just a few steps from the university and the museum, and 30 minutes walk from the shopping centre…
Breakfast in front in the same street, good and hearty.
I would stay here again on a next trip to Glasgow…

Excellent value for money. Room clean, comfortable and well decorated. Good breakfast. Ideal location with a view of the university and the Museum of Kelvingrove. The staff are very friendly. I'll be back for my next trip to Glasgow, it's on!

Exceptional value for money. Really good breakfast too. Only downside was the noise from the road betweeb around 0830 and 2200. Didn't really affect us, but could annoy some.

Everything was neat, tidy and very well presented. Bed was a bit small and hard other than that would recommend.

Place is well maintained. Location is nice. Price is reasonable. But when we were given the apartment, it was not cleaned, so that is one problem.

Loved this hotel. So quiet and clean. Breakfast was amazing. Buffet style and good quality. Will definately be back. Close to all the shops aswell :)

Location of Argyll Guest House is perfectly situated within an area housing many museums (Riverside, Science Center, Kelvingrove and Hubterian) and far enough away from the city center you don't get much noise. Rooms are comfortable and seem to have themes based on different Scottish clans; including tartans and a bit of history about the clan itself. Staff are pleasant and price is right!

No complaints, staff were friendly enough, room was clean, located close to city centre.

Great time. Lovely room warm and cosy. Crossing the road to get breakfast was no problem. Plus the breakfast was excellent. All in all it was really nice stay.

Cosy room with nice bathroom. My room was nicely decorated, very clean and very quiet, the bed was comfy and the bathroom spacious, with a bath tub and a window. The neighbourhood is nice, with lots of pubs, restaurants and stores, and its not far from the city centre. The busstop is in front of the house, nr 17 and 77 take you to the centre in about 10 min. I tested many hotels in Glasgow, and this has the best value for money for me. I will certainly be back!

Very impressed. Spacious room and very clean. For putting a but, no toilet brush, the perfect rest.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and the bathroom was clean and very spacious. The selection at the Breakfast buffet was large and it tasted very good. Due to the location, directly next to the road (volume) and the Parking situation there is a star deduction, otherwise, the Guest House is recommended.

Nice wee Hotel, short Bus journey from the center of Glasgow. Excellent choice of Pubs in surrounding area.

Stayed there during a conference at the SEC. It's a 15min walk from the exhibition centre. Super friendly service, very clean, charming rooms. Thumbs up.

Booked on Expedia and have stayed here before. Fabulous location, within easy walking distance to bars, restaurants and shops. Very clean, nice rooms, staff extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good and service exceptional. Will definate return.

Immaculate room with plenty of space and a bath (bonus). Wi-Fi, TV and tea and coffee facilities all good. Really quiet night.
