I need say nothing more than “fabulous” what a team! I can’t recommend you highly enough.

Noisiest hotel we've ever stayed in with paper thin walls and the creakiest floors. Poor standard of finish on painted surfaces and room so dark you couldn't see in the wardrobe. Bathrooms disappointing and rooms smaller than expected. No other rooms available when asked. We made the best of it but won't be back. Disappointing for the price.

Great place for a treat for a special occasion. Lovely atmosphere and always someone on hand to help or take an order if you need it. ☺️👍☺️👍☺️👍🥰🥰☺️👍☺️👍☺️👍☺️

Lovely hotel and great location but don’t think I’d stay again. My husband booked it for my birthday for a midweek stay so the hotel wasn’t overly busy. We were given a room right above the bar. This is fine if you’re out past midnight but if not, there’s no way you will sleep from the noise of the music and the bar noise. Our room obviously hadn’t had a good clean in a while as we managed to write our name in the dust on the bedside table (not an exaggeration unfortunately). We have stayed in other malmaison hotels in the past and for the money we paid this definitely wasn’t up to scratch.

Popped in for a pre dinner drink. The bar was not busy, about 5 people in it and restaurant was quiet. The staff were all working and we waited about 10 minutes for a drink. Overall, do not think we will return.

We had a lovely 2 course lunch with an Itison voucher. It was fantastic. Staff were so lovely, pastry chef even came out to tell us how she did dessert. Cant wait to g8o back.

It’s not perfect. I find being alone is hard to get meals at night. But one night manager was amazing and he really when out of his way. Well done manager on duty on the 12th August. Your bar tenders of 12th and 13th night were an asset to you.

Amazing food and cocktails.
Staff went out of their way to make our wedding night special. Rooms are brilliant too, really can't wait to come back for another stay.

Excellent food and service. Enjoyed 4 course Sunday lunch with wonderful buffet starters.

The service at our table was shambolic-everyone else got their food before me so twice I had to wait for my dinner. Our group met at 6, went through to the dining area at 6.50 and didn't get any food until 8.30 or later. This was a long time to wait especially as I hadn't eaten since lunchtime. I have health issues which mean that I need to eat at regular intervals so this slow service impacted on me. I also ordered from the summer menu where you get either 2 or 3 courses. I opted for the 2 course preferring main and desert. The main course arrived late with just the fish and some salad and no chips or any other accompaniment. The desert, although described well on the menu, when it arrived looked like something from a child's birthday party, basically jelly with strawberries through it, a dollop of cream on top with the tiniest slivers of strawberries and a trio of mini meringues. Given that this set price option was priced at £19.45 I definitely didn't get value for money. I would have expected more on my plate. If the restaurant thinks that a diner needs to order the extras to go with the meal then there's absolutely no point in having a set priced section on their menu! The place wasn't especially busy either and I definitely wouldn't rush back to dine here.

Parking ticket didn't work.

5pm Sunday lunch deal, there was a great selection of buffet style starters. The mains were varied with a good choice for all tastes.

Food was good but the service from start to finish was awful. The attitude from staff from waiting to upper level management (Bakker) was disgraceful. They had a couldn’t care less attitude to us. Would never return and would never recommend. Had to ASK for change to be given back to us after cash bill had been paid (dishonest). We didn’t get our ordered drinks till after starters had finished. I know this place gets good recommendations but not for us on this occasion. Would have loved to have had a great experience here but unfortunately it didn’t happen. Birthday treat ruined. We shall return to Cote or Atlantic who really get how good food and service work together.

We had an overnight stay on Friday night, our first experience. We were welcomed by your lovely receptionist who upgraded us to a club room which was lovely gesture. Our room was perfect very spacious, modern and spotless. Bed was super comfy. Bar and bar staff were lovely and cocktails very yummy, hubby disappointed he couldn't get a pint though. The meal was one of the nicest meals we have had, we were very satisfied with our 3 course meal. Young lad who was the waiter for us is lovely and made us feel very comfortable, well done to him and all your staff. Our overall stay was amazing and can't wait to come back.

Appalling restaurant, the music was so loud you could hardly hear, the steak frites was well done when I asked for rare, the risotto was under cooked and the service was extremely slow. The prices were shockingly high for the quality of food served. At least the garlic bread was ok.

We have been here before and was very good. This time it was extremely poor. The food was just ok, the wine was extremely poor and the service was dreadful. The staff will ask " is everything ok? " But you answer "no" it's completely ignored! Very pretentious, everyone goes through the motions. If you question the environment and service it's completely overlooked. Why ask if your can't fix the issue? On the bright side the bar staff are some of the best I've ever encountered.

We stayed here a few years ago in one of their suites and it was a great experience. The decor is amazing, contemporary Scottish with Arran Aromatic toiletries in the bathroom. The hotel is a converted Greek orthodox church so the building itself is very impressive. We only had breakfast here but it was enjoyable. I've been for an event in their bar which is a fun area. Looking forward to staying again at Christmas this year.

I went here for a brunch club outing recently and I have to start off by saying I really, really enjoyed the chef's table and had our meal ended there, I would have been pretty delighted. I loved the selection of meats and fish and had a lovely omelette freshly made by the chef. I would have loved to try the pancakes with some fruit as well but was trying not to overdo it so resisted. I did have a sneaky waffle though (they were mini) and we were brought some maple syrup when we asked for some. The waffle was REALLY good, if I hadn't been so full I'd have been tempted to go back for another after dessert! My soup was OK, Nik loved it (carrot and ginger) but I had to add quite a bit of seasoning to mine and didn't eat much of it. Unfortunately the rest of my meal was a bit of a let down. I was really looking forward to the Sunday Roast portion of this brunch menu, having experienced the same kind of menu at the wonderful HdV at One Devonshire, and paced myself accordingly — I wish I'd just gone back to the chef's table a couple more times instead! Sadly, this roast, despite looking pretty awesome, was a huge disappointment. My beef was cold, the gravy was thin, the veg pretty tasteless, the Yorkshire pud was chewy and dry and the roast potatoes were just disgusting — I have no idea how (or when) they were cooked but none of us who had the roast ate them as far as I know.

Best Steak Frites I've had outside of France! Super staff. Great atmosphere, even early for a pre-ballet meal.

Bit more expensive but worth it for a bit better experience. Lovely food, great menu selection and well worth a visit.

The staff were curt and unhelpful and my bill was presented without being asked for, before the end of our service. This was not what is expected of a supposdedly top class hotel.

I am quite cross following my stay at this hotel. While I cannot fault the service of the staff the state of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. This hotel doesn't meet basic standards you would expext. Paint flaking off the radiator in the bathroom and holes in the fabric of furniture (big holes the kind you couldn't miss) The room we got was very small, quite pokey. For the price they charge my advice would be to go elsewhere, there are hotels of much higher quality for the same price in Glasgow.
